Clean room and convenient location, convenience store right opposite of the hotel. The room is spacious as well. We were lucky to have a room that can see the fireworks from our hotel room window. It was a nice stay.

Everything was very good, except the temperature in the room, because it’s super warm in winter, and it can’t be controlled in the room. Hotspring was very nice!

The twin room was 26 square meters, clean and tidy. I stayed on the 16th floor, where I could see Beppu Bay to the left and trains arriving and departing from the station to the right. Both breakfast and dinner were substantial, and a special highlight was being able to try the local specialty, 'Jigoku Mushi' (hell-steamed dishes), cooked with 98-degree hot water directly from the onsen.

Hotel has nice hot spring. Single room typical Japanese style but a bit narrow to accommodate 24” luggage with both sides fully open. Buffet has good spread, but the meat stew serving was limited, after 8am there’s no more meat in the stew, left with the carrots, lotus roots etc. should refill as the buffet ends 930am. Like the hot noodles.

The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk from the JR station. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is acceptable. The room didn't have much of a view and you could hear the train. The onsen and breakfast areas were very crowded. This Kamenoi wasn't as good as the one we stayed at previously in Toba. The hot springs in Beppu are definitely worth visiting!

The room's window opens to an unobstructed view of the blue sky, and the hotel's hot spring is very comfortable. The space isn't large but it's cozy, very clean, and quiet.

Excellent value for money, convenient for transportation and shopping, and the hotel facilities and surroundings were all great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beppu. I hope more Chinese-speaking tourists choose this hotel.

The room was quite clean, and it even had a hot spring. The surrounding area is very convenient with plenty of food options. It's right next to the Oita TV Tower and not far from the JR station. The yakiniku (grilled meat) and tempura places nearby were absolutely delicious.

The hotel is right next to Beppu Tower, and Beppu Station is also very close. It looks really nice at night. There are two supermarkets nearby, which is convenient for buying food, and it's also easy to get to several hot springs. I'm writing this review a long time after my stay, so I've forgotten if there was a hot spring in the hotel itself.

Large comfortable clean room. I loved the rooftop onsen. The breakfast and dinner were good, not 5*, but certainly you can find some nice food to fill you up. The only thing I really didn't like was there was no WiFi anywhere except the lobby, and there is nowhere comfortable to sit in there. WiFi is a basic requirement nowadays.

Good value waterfront hotel. It's a bit dated and it could use a majority renovation, but it's fairly clean. Good service, and very good dinner and breakfast . The city view was not worth it. I would pay the extra and book the oceanview.

The ryokan style room is very spacious with beautiful sea view. We loved the indoor & outdoor onsen. Good spread at the buffet dinner and breakfast. A very relaxing stay! There is also a DONKI nearby the hotel.

The free afternoon tea everyday is a big plus. It's also close to the station, walk 5-8mins only. A Lawson is within 5 mins. Hotel is classy and clean.

I stayed here because I had to go to the ferry terminal early in the morning. It was very convenient, with Toyoken (a famous chicken tempura restaurant) nearby and a supermarket within walking distance. The bath is indoors, but it was very clean and nice. I was able to watch YouTube on the TV in the room.

The breakfast selection was quite good. The only downside was that the hotel parking lot was across the street. It just so happened that it was raining heavily the day I arrived. The room was spacious and the view from the window was beautiful. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.

I stayed in a smoking room. I'm a smoker so it was good because there are only non-smoking rooms available these days. The breakfast was also delicious and I ate too much. The hotel staff were always smiling and helpful so I was very satisfied.

It is right next to Beppu station, the onsen is overnight though I have not try but at least they provide, no check out procedures, free breakfast, password instead of room key and free drink is super convenient. This hotel deserves a great review! It's very affordable, and the location is fantastic – just a 5-minute walk from Beppu Station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. Went with a friend this time. They have free hot springs/baths, and it wasn't too crowded. The best part is it's super, super cheap and the location is very convenient, easily accessible whether you have a car or not.

The Seawave Hotel offers great value for money. The proximity to Beppu Station is a huge plus with free parking! We used self automated check in and out hence can’t really review service of the hotel; the room, while compact, was very clean and had everything we needed. A solid choice for a comfortable and convenient onsen stay in Beppu.

If I'm solely going for a hot spring experience, I'd definitely choose this place again; the water quality is excellent. The breakfast offers a good variety, and the taste is decent. It's a bit far from the city center, but a 100 RMB taxi ride usually covers most dining spots.

Nothing but good things to say about the hotel, it is one of the best stays I´ve had anywhere and a hotel with excellent value. The hotsprings were excellent with ocean and mountain views, and food was above and beyond our expectation. The hotel tatamis were comfortable and the staff were highly professional. This Japanese-style hotel offers amazing value for money, especially with its beautiful sea views. No on site car park and have to use a nearby car park which is 600 yen per entry. The don’t clean the room daily but can change your towel if you want. When I booked, it only showed the room, not that it was in an annex building. We ended up being placed in the building next door, which had much simpler facilities and was significantly smaller. It's a bit of a walk from the station, and dragging luggage was a bit tough. A taxi costs around 850 yen. However, transportation in Miyazaki is quite inconvenient; you need to book a taxi in advance to get back to the station from the hotel, as it's hard to hail one from the street. Other than that, everything else was good, and breakfast was included.

Really big hotel by the ocean side. Room was so big that we can prob sleep 10 people in there if we had the futons. This place even got a water dispenser. Bath's view was blocked by safety railing which was a let down but the room made up for it. Recommend.

A quiet business class hotel located just meters outside the JR Beppu station, within close walking distance of day use onsen, shopping, and dining. While it's true they are adjacent to the elevated rail, in practice this isn't really a problem for all but the most sensitive travellers because of frequency and limited use at night.

Very close to train station. They rent e-bikes for a good price. 1500 yen for 6 hours or a little more for the whole day. Was able to cycle to all the sights and tackle the hills easily.

This hotel has such a romantic, old-style charm. The bedroom was incredibly spacious—we even managed to have a family supper for 8 people comfortably inside! The onsen is also very nice and relaxing. A wonderful choice if you like a classic feel and plenty of room.

The food was good both in the evening and in the morning, but the bathroom, toilet and washbasin were all in one place and there was a step between the bathroom and the hallway, so there is room for improvement.

I had a great time because of the clean interior and comfortable bathroom. The open-air bath was especially nice and it was a good place to stay. As for cleanliness, the foreign substances in the sink area were not cleaned well. Other than that, it was a really clean place to stay.

I chose this seaside hotel to enjoy the sunrise and sunset while soaking in the hot spring. The two meals included were decent, and the seafood was fresh.
