Online prepayment is available; however, Kitakyushu City’s accommodation tax must be paid separately in cash at the hotel (¥200).
Including the tax, the total came to ¥4,000.
The room is extremely small and the facilities are quite old.
If you are only looking for a place to sleep, it should be fine.
That said, the bathroom had a noticeable sewer smell, which was rather unpleasant.
However, while it's convenient, be careful as there are groups of drunk people who shout strange things in the early hours of the morning.
The hotel itself is well-equipped.
When I booked a non smoking room it had a strong smoke smell and when I asked the staff they simply handed me a deodoriser. through my booking app I managed to raise the complaint to change rooms. This was fine through complaint through a booking app.
For international travellers be aware of this if you are considering this as an alternative cheap option to a normal hotel.
The gyoza at the Chinese restaurant next door was really good.
