We had the futon room which was very comfortable and we got supplied with pyjamas which we loved! (Sad to leave them behind) a relatively small room but worked for us for four nights. Bathroom as well was great with a nice deep tub. Located ideally in ohori park which is easy to get to from the train and is right in the main line for travelling.

It was really good experience staying in the room with tatami no heya which is very clean and new tatami. My son loves it there and staffs are super nice. Breakfast also amazing, glad they have coffee.

Absolutely fantastic! It's super close to the subway station, the environment is clean and hygienic, and the price is really affordable! The front desk staff are all very friendly, and the free breakfast was much better than expected.

I've been staying at this hotel for over a decade, which is hard to believe! When I first came to Japan over ten years ago, this was the cheapest option, costing around 200 yen. It's still pretty much the same price now.

I particularly like their Japanese-style rooms because you can roll around on the futon without falling off. 😂😂😂

The building is quite old, and the decor is a bit dated, but it's always well-maintained and clean. I love the huge, old-fashioned AC unit mounted on the wall; it's almost silent but surprisingly effective at both cooling and heating.

The bathroom is tiny, sometimes it's even a bit difficult to squat down on the toilet. However, the amenities provided are quite good, like the full POLA product line.

The location is also very convenient. If you like strolling through Ohori Park, it's just a short walk away. Tsurumai Park, a great spot for cherry blossom viewing, is also very close.

As for breakfast, it used to be a selection of homemade traditional Japanese dishes. Now, it's been simplified to just a bread and a cup of coffee, so I don't bother with it anymore. Given that the price hasn't changed in years while living costs have steadily increased, I can understand that they're likely cutting costs.

Location is FANTASTIC. Right next to the train station exit— 1min walk) It is a great location for family with kids. The park nearby is the best. Fantastic lake, boat rowing, big playground, coffee shop, restaurant…..

The hotel room is small but clean. We have everything we need in the room. The TV has the YouTube options. So, it is a big plus for my kid.

We also love the yummy breakfast the hotel provided.

The room isn't very big, but it's perfectly adequate for one person. It's quite old-fashioned; you even open the door with a physical key. There's no room cleaning during your stay, but fresh towels are hung on the door daily. The cleanliness of the room is decent, but the soundproofing is absolutely terrible. You can hear the dripping water from the bathroom next door. On the last day, some Koreans checked in, and oh my, they were so loud! They started chatting loudly at 6 AM. Speechless.

Not a bad choice, I booked it for the weekend and it was excellent value for money. The hotel's rice ball breakfast was quite unique. It's very close to Ohori Park and the art museum, perfect for an evening stroll and a sit-down. I happened to catch the SORA garden show while I was there, which was beautiful.

The facilities were a bit run down but it didn’t matter much, as everything was clean and pretty well taken care of. It’s pretty close to the subway station and the free breakfast was a nice surprise. The stuff were super attentive.
