Location is right by daishoji station. Room is rather small but also expected of a business hotel chain. The bed makes up for it, as it’s really comfy, ok for one to spend a night at.

The room is quite small, but there is a large public bath, so it is suitable for business travelers. There are few restaurants near the station, so it is better to eat there before checking in.

Not one of the finer examples of the APA Hotel Chain, sadly. My stay was fine, but the rate I paid (10,500 yen) was a lot to ask for a Thursday night and an uninspired Friday morning breakfast

Average APA branch. The location is right at the exit of the train station. You can tell the ages but still works for the low room rate.

We found one of the staff Mr 大井，the most helpful, not only  does he have initiative, he is also very polite and made helpful suggestions

I especially participated in making hot spring eggs every day, and they were delicious 🤤 The free drinks, desserts, and steamed potatoes were also great! And the hot springs were the best ♪ I took a morning bath and an evening bath, and was thoroughly relaxed before heading home

My family of seven stayed here at the end of the year. The facilities were great, so we were able to enjoy ourselves without having to go out after checking in. I'm glad my family was satisfied!

I was randomly assigned a corner room on a high floor. The room was spacious enough, and the hotel was generally clean, with well-maintained facilities. The staff was attentive and patient

It’s in the middle of nowhere. Though it has been expected, but when we arrived, it is indeed Not near anything. The hotel provides shuttle service from the Kaga Onsen station.

Service: I like the attitude of the hotel waiters very much. Unfortunately, an earthquake occurred when I went there (an earthquake and tsunami occurred in Ishikawa Prefecture, Hokuriku on January 1, 2024😢)

This hotel is located on the north side of Lake Shibayamagata. It is on high ground so you can get a good view of Lake Shibayamagata. I recommend the Japanese cuisine for dinner

Easy walking distance (5-10 minutes) to Main Street of Yamashiro, tho not in middle of it. Free drinks and snacks in lounge very pleasant. Free shuttle bus to KagaOnsen station is popular

Friendly and courteous staff, and I really enjoyed the hotel dinner and onsen, and the massage chair in the room. The room was a tad too warm and I could not figure out how to bring the temperature down

Excellent onsen hotel in quiet yet popular location. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Taiku drums nightly show was fun and great draw for families with kids

We stayed on a very busy weekend and hotel’s breakfast and dinner were fully booked. NTL the hotels casual restaurant was very good, menu and price wise; also excellent location to see the drum show

When we checked in at 3 o'clock, a waiter in kimono guided us to the door of the room, which was very considerate. After taking a bath, we had dinner on the 2nd floor of the hotel as scheduled

But the evening was a bit disappointing. Since it's by the sea, I wish there had been more seafood. I was satisfied in the morning. The bath was very clean and nice

The front desk and buffet dining staff were very friendly. The back of the toilet seat in the room was dirty and the hair dryer cord was tangled. The room was cold and there were frequent stink bugs.

I booked four rooms for one night. I didn't expect that after I arrived at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount for the four rooms, which I had already paid for on the website

However, the hotel staff had poor English skills and could not communicate with me. After an hour of confusion, I realized later that the money I paid on the website was actually a deposit

Now the process is done quickly. The corner Western-style room I booked is very good to live in. The sun is bright and the size is just right. The hotel is generous and the coffee and tea bar is available 24 hours a day

The quality of the service was excellent. I was also surprised that they provided a shuttle service to the nearby station and even took me to Komatsu Airport. I felt bad that I was there alone

You must make an appointment for the transportation from Kaga Onsen to the hotel at least one day in advance on your own official website or ask Ctrip. I made an appointment with Ctrip two days in advance

On the way, there will be a brief introduction to the Buddha statue, snow mountain, famous product Mantou Niangniang, etc. It takes 25 minutes to arrive at the hotel. The staff kneels down to serve

Follow the instructions at the south gate of Kaga Onsen Station to see the hotel's car. The timetable is shown in the last photo. The driver is courteous and considerate

We managed to resolve this issue by receiving additional bath towels, and having the trash and used bath towels collected while we were in the public bath

" In the end, I interpreted this as the house cleaning staff coming in and realizing that the room was for a multiple-night stay guest, and then leaving. Other than that, the amenities were well-stocked and I was pleased

In the morning, I left the air conditioner on and closed the sliding doors before leaving the room, but when I returned, the air conditioner was off and the sliding doors were open

The instructions in the room didn't say anything about it, so we called the front desk, but no one answered. I wonder where it was connected

However, there was one other issue: there were clear signs of someone entering the room, even though it hadn't been cleaned

When refilling tea, the spout was never pointed at the guests; every gesture conveyed respect for the food and the guests. Kaiseki Dinner: A Taste of the Four Seasons Dinner was a feast for both the eyes and the palate

The appetizer was seasonal bamboo shoots with sea urchin tofu, served in rustic ceramic bowls. The sweetness of the bamboo shoots and the creaminess of the sea urchin blended perfectly on the tongue

What impressed me most was that the staff would kneel (not obsequious, but a traditional Japanese courtesy) and gently ask if we needed more rice or soup

Getting there (here) is usually part of the adventure, and, over the last decade, I've had the opportunity to get a breathtaking view of the Japanese county-, mountain- and sea-side! This resort has been peaceful and relaxing, the food was excellent, service superb, and the kids loved the game room

Paid ¥13,000+ for one night for two people but they gave us ¥6000 worth of coupons!!!! Beautiful hotel, they really try to renovate and have a feel of Japanese. Can play go and shogi—they have been prepared for guests

Of course, Ojiichan loved the karaoke--doing his famous rendition of "Moon River," while the kids sang "Stacy's Mom" over and over again

We loved it! My in-laws, yearly, research and discover some amazing off-the-beaten-path resort for us to make our way to from Kanazawa

We all strongly recommend it, and will be happy to return here on next year's great Japanese adventure!!!

The young man who sent us to the station at the end has a pair of big eyes and is very handsome. The hotel also has waiters who can speak Chinese and English. There are more elderly and polite waiters

This onsen hotel is very traditional, that’s what we wanted. The service is excellent and warm. Dinner and breakfast are really with regional ingredients.

The tableware is very exquisite. It may be because it is adjacent to the Rosanjin Residence and Kutani Ware production area. Before the meal, the dedicated elderly butler will put on the kimono and sash for the guests

Very very satisfied, the autumn scenery is beautiful, and the open-air hot spring in the room is amazing. Breakfast and dinner are super rich. Because of my eating habits, the hotel helped to modify the menu

The hotel is located in the center of Kaga Onsen Town, next to Hoshino Kai. The water quality of Yamashiro Onsen is very good. Five minutes every morning and evening will make your skin feel very obvious

The Japanese-style room was absolutely fantastic, fulfilling my desire to stay in a traditional Japanese room. The hotel's location was great, within walking distance of Hessenkei Creek, with beautiful scenery

It's a relatively old hotel, close to my friend's house, but the facilities are designed with seniors in mind. The location isn't the most convenient, but it offers great value for money.

The restaurant's buffet food was mediocre; the ingredients could be improved. Aside from its good location, free parking, dinner and breakfast included, 24-hour coffee, and free bicycle rentals, it was pretty good

The room felt like a long-established inn, and even though I was staying alone, it was spacious and the TV screen was large, which was great. The food was delicious, served at the buffet

Two rooms had been renovated to make a larger room. The attached cypress bath was amazing!! For breakfast, the kids enjoyed the curry, fried chicken, and sweets

The hot springs were lovely, and there was another great hot spring just a short walk away where you could eat your fill of the hot springs

^^ Because it's Ishikawa Prefecture, I was hoping for seafood, but the salmon roe was a complete disappointment

However, while it's a hot spring, it's not directly sourced, so be aware of this. The water seems to be filtered and circulated, so it didn't feel like a hot spring at all (it was odorless)

Wonderful place. Greeted as we drove up, valet parking. Room was so nice and clean. Everybody was amazing and it was all perfect.

While the building's exterior exudes a sense of history, the interior has been renovated. Upon arrival, several staff members helped us with everything from car transfers to luggage handling

While couples might be interested in the open-air bath in their guest rooms, the bathtub and shower room were very clean. The temperature could be adjusted freely, allowing for hotter or warmer temperatures

The room had been renovated the last time, but this time I was surprised to see that the baths had been renovated! A very nice sauna had been installed in the large baths on both the first and third floors, and there was even a relaxation space next to the cold bath

Dinner is a buffet, and although the selection is a little limited, there is a lot of local cuisine and they have made some clever efforts, such as offering a one-person hot pot, so I think they have made a great effort considering the price

There was a hot spring inn where I stayed at the same price next to here, but I reconfirmed the coziness of the hotel here. It's a little cheap and nostalgic inn, but I definitely want to go there again

This was my first time staying at an Oedo Onsen Monogatari inn. To be honest, I think the facilities are in line with the price, although the noise of the air conditioning is a bit of a concern

I stayed here on a family trip. This was my third time, including Oedo Onsen Monogatari

After looking into it, I found that, like other standard brand inns, they have made significant cost-cutting efforts, and it's undeniable that the overall feel, including dinner, was cheap

The hot spring is a slightly lukewarm temperature, which is great because you can soak in it for a long time, although the chlorine smell from the open-air bath is a bit of a concern

The outdoor foot bath was also very pleasant, and the fact that they even provided towels for wiping feet was wonderful! Meals were provided by a group hotel, but they provided a shuttle service, and it was only a three-minute walk away, so it wasn't an inconvenience, but the reservation system was a bit of a pain

Since we don't always use the bath in our room, it's not necessary. They take a photo of the whole family, including our dog, upon checkout, which I think is a really nice touch. I'd definitely like to stay here again

We went to the annex for meals, but it was only a short walk away, but they provided a car to pick us up and drop us off, which was very convenient. The indoor dog run was also spacious, which was great in the summer

This was our second time staying at this hotel, taking a family trip with our dog. We dine in the annex, so our dog can stay at home, but they provide a shuttle service, which is very accommodating

We also love the fact that we can bring our dog along to the manga corner, karaoke, and table tennis. Even in bad weather, there's a large indoor dog run, which our dog loved running around in

The hotel staff were all very kind and gentle with our dog. I didn't feel like we needed a room with a view. The large public bath is small, but it's not always crowded, so we can relax in it

I stayed from Saturday to Sunday. The food is really gorgeous at night and morning Mr. Nakai was a wonderful person. I definitely want to use it again when I come to Ishikawa.

I went to a day trip hot spring , I think the private open-air bath and lunch were good. I think that every inn depends on money, but I thought that this amount of money would be very good.

It seems that there is a cold spring source bath, but it is a pity that there is only one bath for men. However, guests have a free private open-air bath, so it seems that they are offsetting it

The facilities are old, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are fine. I wish there was a hair dryer in the room. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent, both in terms of variety and taste.

Both dinner and breakfast were very luxurious and delicious. However, there was a problem with the bath faucet, as the temperature control was broken and we couldn't adjust the temperature, so the water came out very hot

You absolutely must book a shuttle bus to the hotel in advance (Ctrip doesn't offer customer service); you have to call and book it yourself

Otherwise, you'll have to take a bus from Kaga Onsen Station to the town and then call a taxi. To return to the JR station, you can book the 9, 10, or 11 am bus in advance

Helpful staff, a lovely room, excellent food and beautiful surroundings made our stay a highlight of our visit to Japan. Highly recommended for people who enjoy stays in quieter villages. We will return.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Kaga Onsen Station, a 20-minute ride away. Pick-up times are between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and drop-off times are between 9:00 AM and 12:00 AM (I might be mistaken)

The hotel restaurant had a wide selection of breakfasts, which were fresh and tasty, adding a lot of energy to the start of the day. The location is convenient, and there are many attractions to explore nearby

We were the only westerners during our stay which we loved. Yakutas, informal kimono are provided for wearing around the hotel and almost everyone wears one

We didn’t opt for the traditional Japanese style room as was out of our budget but our ‘western’ room was huge, clean, well equipped and even had traditional yakuta for us to wear to dinner and we did! Dinner was beyond OISHI! I dont even know half of what we ate but the beef, which we grilled ourselves, and veggies and various raw fish served was unbelievably delicious

I was served the best pieces of raw tuna Ive had this whole trip! The hotel is like Overlook hotel massive! All the facilities were readily available and clean, including two massage chairs with a view that we took advantage of for an hour completely free

I only have one slightly negative thing and its just a bit of a Larry David moment… at dinner I ordered a coke and it came in an average size glass filled with ive and when checking out was charged the equivalent of 2£ for it

This only bothers me because there is a FREE soda fountain in the lobby where you can get FREE coke 24/7 so why charge at the restaurant? I would expect to be charged for alcohol or even juice but this is just me being knit picky
