Huazi is about a 25-minute drive from Kaga Onsen Station. The hotel will send an email to inquire about the arrival time and provide free pick-up. The service staff were very friendly.

The hotel is a bit remote and the facilities are a bit old. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Gusoyu (one of the attractions), and all the nearby shops are open after 5 pm, so if you arrive before 3 pm, it is very inconvenient to go out and find food! The room is big enough and clean

I took my mother, who has trouble walking, with me, and they provided a wheelchair for her, and a Japanese-Western style room for her, who has trouble getting out of bed, which was very helpful. Of course, the hot springs were also very pleasant, and my mother was very happy with them.

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It's excellent. Although it's a bit far from the station, they offer a shuttle service, which is great.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

Good place to recharge in between trips

A great hot spring hotel with one night and two meals. The service is great. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are delicious and tasty. I definitely recommend it! The room is very spacious and the private bath gives you the freedom to bathe whenever you want. It's great!

I was able to spend the night on top of a mountain with a panoramic view of nature. When I opened the curtains, the beautiful morning sun streamed in, making it a truly meaningful morning. Theres only one chair in the lobby, that nobody can sit on, because it's got a strong parfume dispenser right next to it, that goes off every 15 seconds. The people on reception have bad english. There’s no Laundry room, only expensive Laundry service, that doesn’t work on the weekends. The guests above us must have had kids or something, because they were constantly making loud thumping noises.

Located in the business center, the hotel offers excellent service. The rooms, while not large, are well-laid out and have complete toiletries. It's within walking distance of attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. There are buses to Kanazawa Station on the left side of the street outside the hotel. Overall, it was a great stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location, with friendly, helpful service and generally good quality rooms. One downside to my stay was the bed, which was very uncomfortable. The hotel's proximity to the old districts, museums and gardens is a big plus.

Superb location and hospitality. Spacious, clean, and quiet room. I attended the Kanazawa Marathon on the weekend, the hotel location is right across the street, and the hotel was so caring to open breakfast buffet at 6:30am so runners can have breakfast before race.

You can take a stroll from the hotel to places like Kanazawa Castle. Korinbo was also within walking distance. It was too hot outside and I asked the receptionist if there was any water. She said no and I had to buy it myself. I just asked for water.

The location is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the station, but it's close to nearby tourist attractions. The front desk staff are all friendly. The matcha set sold at the first-floor cafe is also very satisfying.

Love the modern decor and style

I was concerned that the air conditioning in the hotel lobby and hallways was too strong. I would be happy if there were a wider variety of amenities. The hotel itself was very clean and convenient, with convenience stores and markets within walking distance. This is a hotel I would definitely stay at again if I come to Kanazawa.

We have a 2-year-old child, so the Japanese-style room was comfortable. The hotel's welcome service and breakfast were really great. The menu was different on the second day, and the quiche was delicious. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Kanazawa in a different season.

From Shirakawa Station, take any bus to Oyama Jinja Shrine, cross the road, and look to the right. The hotel is in a great location, within a 20-minute walk of many attractions. Mitsui Garden always be my first hotel when I explore the new region in Japan. Location is a bit outside the main central city, in walking distance. The hotel servicer can easily communicate with English, understand customer needs, that's super nice. And Mitsui Garden normally have the top floor hot tube area which is super good for me to relax after full day travel around. 

The hotel's overall environment is outstanding. Dining by the window offers spectacular views, which was a real treat. The breakfast spread was extensive with fresh ingredients, leaving me very satisfied. The biggest surprise was the hot spring bath area on the top floor; soaking in the springs while enjoying the view outside the window was an incredible experience. Overall, my stay was fantastic!

This is my second time staying here. The room is nice, but it's a bit far from the subway. We drove, and parking was very expensive – we had to find our own spot. However, it's just 200 meters from Omicho Market, and within walking distance to Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenroku-en, and Higashi Chaya District. This garden hotel offers an excellent experience! The location is superb, very close to major attractions. They even provided a free one-day bus pass, which was fantastic! The rooftop hot springs were so relaxing. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Breakfast was also very extensive.

The hotel is quite a walk from the station, about 20 minutes, or you can take a bus. It's very close to the seafood market. The hotel has a large public bath. For breakfast, the hotel's own breakfast is good, or you can choose to eat at partner restaurants in the seafood market.

Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. Hakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character.  It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded.  They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. There's a dedicated shuttle bus, and the service is quite good... It's a bit of a shame we didn't get to soak in the hot springs... It's very close to the attractions, making it convenient to walk there with kids... There's also classical music performance in the evening.
