You absolutely must book a shuttle bus to the hotel in advance (Ctrip doesn't offer customer service); you have to call and book it yourself. Otherwise, you'll have to take a bus from Kaga Onsen Station to the town and then call a taxi. To return to the JR station, you can book the 9, 10, or 11 am bus in advance. Once everyone is there, the driver will depart early, allowing you to catch the Shinkansen (bullet train) around the half-hour mark.

The free open-air hot spring requires reservations at the front desk from afternoon to evening to get a key. In the morning, you can enter as long as no one is there; just lock the door.

Helpful staff, a lovely room, excellent food and beautiful surroundings made our stay a highlight of our visit to Japan. Highly recommended for people who enjoy stays in quieter villages. We will return.

The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Kaga Onsen Station, a 20-minute ride away. Pick-up times are between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, and drop-off times are between 9:00 AM and 12:00 AM (I might be mistaken). It runs every hour, and you can ask Ctrip customer service for reservations.

This is the hotel I chose after much deliberation. It has its own private bath in each room, as well as four free private baths with scheduled times and a paid sauna. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is right by Tsurusen Creek, but it rained both days we were there, preventing us from taking a stroll. As for food, aside from the set main courses (black throat fish, sashimi, and beef sukiyaki), all the side dishes are self-service, which certainly saves on food, but the experience isn't as good.

My parents loved it, but it's a shame we didn't have a lot of fun.

Room spacious with luscious view of the valley, enjoyed facilities such as grilling own dango and senbei as well as private onsen. However, cleanliness could be improved as dust can be seen on siding door tracks within the room and hair dryer was not the best with loose folding handle.
Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, some staffs were very attentive and helpful at front desk and at dining (though they should not assume everyone can eat beef and allow other options).

I was participating in the Kagaspa UTM race in Japan and booked this hotel. It's a ten-minute walk from the starting point and another ten minutes from Yamanakaza Street. It's a quiet escape from the bustle. The room faces a stream and mountains, with the green hills surrounding the stream and casting shadows, a truly beautiful sight. The hotel was also very clean. Dinner was a semi-buffet and quite standard. I withdrew from the 100km race this time, but I'm sure I'll finish it next year.

I was very pleased with my recent stay at a hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern decor that made me feel relaxed. The friendly staff were always willing to help and made me feel welcome. The hotel restaurant had a wide selection of breakfasts, which were fresh and tasty, adding a lot of energy to the start of the day. The location is convenient, and there are many attractions to explore nearby. Overall, this was a very pleasant stay and I would consider staying again in the future!
