Location is right by daishoji station. Room is rather small but also expected of a business hotel chain. The bed makes up for it, as it’s really comfy, ok for one to spend a night at.
The room is quite small, but there is a large public bath, so it is suitable for business travelers. There are few restaurants near the station, so it is better to eat there before checking in.
Average APA branch. The location is right at the exit of the train station. You can tell the ages but still works for the low room rate.
Not one of the finer examples of the APA Hotel Chain, sadly. My stay was fine, but the rate I paid (10,500 yen) was a lot to ask for a Thursday night and an uninspired Friday morning breakfast. Oh well. Beggars can't be choosers... everywhere else in Daishoji was full that night.
small room even with semi-double. unit bath, cold/warm water separate. breakfast plenty, 30sec to station

Every year, I visit various Oedo Onsen hot springs.
Because it was raining, I couldn't do any sightseeing, so I came here looking forward to the buffet.
I was excited, wondering if there would be crab.
But the evening was a bit disappointing. There weren't many sweets.
Since it's by the sea, I wish there had been more seafood.
I was satisfied in the morning.
The bath was very clean and nice.
Facilities and food are good. Just the location of hotel is a bit uphill. It would be better if i have rent a car.
Being a newly renovated hotel, the interior was bright and clean, which was nice, but the room door did not open and close smoothly and the key was difficult to use, which was inconvenient.
The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant (including the washing area) were cheerful and friendly.
As for the hot spring itself, although it can't be helped that it is not directly drawn from the source...
The front desk and buffet dining staff were very friendly. The back of the toilet seat in the room was dirty and the hair dryer cord was tangled. The room was cold and there were frequent stink bugs.
It was very beautiful and comfortable.
I booked four rooms for one night. I didn't expect that after I arrived at the hotel, the hotel asked me to pay the full amount for the four rooms, which I had already paid for on the website. However, the hotel staff had poor English skills and could not communicate with me. After an hour of confusion, I realized later that the money I paid on the website was actually a deposit. Oh my god! It's such...

I got room 510 which is massive! The public bath and outdoor onsens are perfect. The dinner and breakfast buffet options are bountiful. Free flow of soft drinks and alcohol over selected time periods.
Very good and convenient hotel location, very good environment and very good for overall services.
The scenery is beautiful, and it's located next to a park.
The food was delicious and the hot springs were great.
I've been interested in this inn since it was a Yukai Resort. It's now Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium. This was my first time staying there. The moment I entered the lobby, my son, who accompanied me, couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow!" at the beautiful view that unfolded before us! There were two lounges, so we were able to relax comfortably. From the lounge next to the lobby, you could step out onto...
The rooms and the building were lovely, and the food was delicious. The natural surroundings were beautiful and the atmosphere was calming, which was very relaxing!

Excellent service and brilliant buffet.
Paid ¥13,000+ for one night for two people but they gave us ¥6000 worth of coupons!!!! Beautiful hotel, they really try to renovate and have a feel of Japanese. Can play go and shogi—they have been prepared for guests. Also first time I’ve seen in a hotel were massage equipments are FREE to use.
We loved it! My in-laws, yearly, research and discover some amazing off-the-beaten-path resort for us to make our way to from Kanazawa. Getting there (here) is usually part of the adventure, and, over the last decade, I've had the opportunity to get a breathtaking view of the Japanese county-, mountain- and sea-side! This resort has been peaceful and relaxing, the food was excellent, service superb...

The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff was very patient in introducing the room. The meals every day were local specialties. Most importantly, they even provided private hot springs for people like me who have some mysophobia. The hotel environment was very good and the hot springs were very comfortable and clean! ! ! !
From friendly service to delicious food, it was a very satisfying trip! It was so good that I want to come back again next time! :)
The food is very good. You can choose different meals. I didn't get tired of it after two days. When I checked in, I was given a lot of coupons for the hot spring street, where I could get various ice creams and snacks. The hotel's public bath also has a Noten-buri bath. The private bath needs to be booked in advance and can be used for 1 hour. The Japanese-style room will help us lay out the tatami...
I hope dinner can be as convenient as possible for guests because it is too hard for guests to pick crabs manually🦀
The room was clean, tidy, comfortable and warm. The set meal dinner was rich and delicious, and the breakfast was also rich.
It is also an excellent hot spring hotel. The hot spring is very beautiful, as shown in the pictures, and the meals are rich.

Hotel staff were great and super helpful. Rooms are large and very clean. The location is very good and next to trail walk and river. Food is buffet style and good. Definitely recommended.
The hotel is newly renovated with good service and facilities. Good Onsen , good buffet with a lot of varieties. I have no second thought to recommend any visitors to stay in this hotel.
Very excellent stay in this hotel. Everything is perfect. Meal, room size, staff and price. My wife asks me to take her here next year. Good!
Poor catering, hotel did not disclose dinner would be a buffet. We were expecting traditional dinner
Great hotel. Newly refurbished. Dinner and breakfast buffet is superb!
Nice and Comfortable Hotel
Onsen facilities are well setup.
.With laundromat beside onsen entrance
.while waiting laundromat, there is large resting area with awesome window beauty just outside onsen entrance
. Also provide ice lolly and iced tea at free of charges at resting area

The room was incredibly spacious. The facilities, while having a traditional Japanese hotel style that's a bit dated, were exceptionally clean. The breakfast and dinner I booked were very elaborate. The staff translated and explained every dish to us, which greatly enhanced the service experience.
The cascading waterfall in the Yamanaka area was a stunning sight, and our tatami room was spacious and comfortable. The kaiseki meal was superb, and the onsen waters were excellent. It was a wonderful experience overall. Be sure to use the free shuttle bus from Kagaonsen Station, as the hotel is quite a distance away.
Kaga was my absolute favorite gem of a city during my Hokuriku trip! One day it even snowed ❄️ which was truly beautiful! I'll definitely come back to Hokuriku again next time!!!
very good experience! we had a nice stay there.
This was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and...
Good and friendly staff, good food with basic onsen hotel amenities.

I stayed in a container-type accommodation, and it was relaxing.
The container was new and clean inside.
The hot spring facility's faucets were missing knobs and leaking, and the valuables lockers were unusable and the shoe lockers were in a poor location.
Since it was moon-viewing season, they served complimentary dumplings, which were delicious.
I'd like to stay here again the next time I'm in Komatsu
Two rooms had been renovated to make a larger room. The attached cypress bath was amazing!!
For breakfast, the kids enjoyed the curry, fried chicken, and sweets. ^^
Because it's Ishikawa Prefecture, I was hoping for seafood, but the salmon roe was a complete disappointment...
The hot springs were lovely, and there was another great hot spring just a short walk away where you could eat your fill of...
No hot water coming out of the tap in the room
It's a relatively old hotel, close to my friend's house, but the facilities are designed with seniors in mind. The location isn't the most convenient, but it offers great value for money.
The hallway smelled of smoke. The restaurant's buffet food was mediocre; the ingredients could be improved. Aside from its good location, free parking, dinner and breakfast included, 24-hour coffee, and free bicycle rentals, it was pretty good.
The room felt like a long-established inn, and even though I was staying alone, it was spacious and the TV screen was large, which was great.
The food was delicious, served at the buffet.
They provided shampoo, body soap, lotion, etc., which was very helpful. The scent was also lovely and soothing. My skin felt so smooth after taking a bath in the hot spring.

Wonderful place. Greeted as we drove up, valet parking. Room was so nice and clean. Everybody was amazing and it was all perfect.
The food and bath were perfect, but the water in the bathroom in my room didn't drain well, so the front desk staff fixed it first. They dealt with it right away, but I wish they had checked beforehand. It was a very unpleasant experience. Also, I got a cheap plan, so it can't be helped, but there was noticeable black mold on the bathroom floor, and the mat in front of the toilet was noticeably frayed...
While the building's exterior exudes a sense of history, the interior has been renovated. Upon arrival, several staff members helped us with everything from car transfers to luggage handling. The food and hot springs were very good. Thank you very much.
This was my first visit in four years. I stayed with the in-room dining plan. The room had been renovated the last time, but this time I was surprised to see that the baths had been renovated! I booked a room with an open-air bath and requested a shuttle from Kaga Onsen Station. Once I got off the station, there was a roof over my shoulder all the way to the shuttle bus stop, so I didn't need an umbrella. The open-air bath in the room was a very relaxing hot spring. This was our second time staying at this hotel, taking a family trip with our dog. We dine in the annex, so our dog can stay at home, but they provide a shuttle service, which is very accommodating. We also love the fact that we can bring our dog along to the manga corner, karaoke, and table tennis. Even in bad weather, there's a large indoor dog run, which our dog loved running around in. The hotel...
Although it's not lakeside, it's located on a hill, so the views are great. First of all, the service from the front desk staff was outstanding. They were friendly and welcoming, unlike most luxury hotels.

The facilities are old, but the staff are friendly and the rooms are fine. I wish there was a hair dryer in the room. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent, both in terms of variety and taste.
Both dinner and breakfast were very luxurious and delicious.
However, there was a problem with the bath faucet, as the temperature control was broken and we couldn't adjust the temperature, so the water came out very hot.
I stayed from Saturday to Sunday.
The food is really gorgeous at night and morning
Mr. Nakai was a wonderful person.
I definitely want to use it again when I come to Ishikawa.
I went to a day trip hot spring
, I think the private open-air bath and lunch were good. I think that every inn depends on money, but I thought that this amount of money would be very good.
The food and hot springs are good.
However, if it doesn't improve, it's poor.
The food is usually delicious. It ’s really good! !! Not so much, but the satisfaction of each dish is high, so the overall satisfaction is high. However, I am also a person who eats, but I still felt that I ate too much, so I think it's okay to reduce some maine-class dishes by one.
For those who are not satisfied with...
It's far from the city center, but the quantity and quality of the food is good. Women's baths are given preferential treatment over men's. It seems that there is a cold spring source bath, but it is a pity that there is only one bath for men. However, guests have a free private open-air bath, so it seems that they are offsetting it. Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
Open-air (large public bath) hot spring bath - no view, disappointing.
The hospitality was truly brilliant. We don’t speak Japanese and the staff were so helpful and patient. The breakfast and dinners were the best meals we have ever had. This was above and beyond our expectations. Our private bath looking through the bamboo to the river was lovely. The meals were over-the-top incredible. Looks like several inns in Yamanaka did not survive COVID. Grateful that this unique inn did.
Excellent dining and friendly staff.
I had a great stay here.
Outstanding, helpful, and friendly staff. They know basic English and will do anything to assist you with all your questions and concerns. I always include an overnight trip to an onsen whenever I’m in Japan so I’ve seen many to compare to. Though the hotel looks a bit old but it's clean and tidy. They offered us a very big room. The dinner and breakfast set very good.
