Royal Inn Kakegawa in Kakegawa

The building is a little old, but the toilet has a washlet and a heated seat, so I'm very satisfied with the price. The front desk staff are very friendly, and you can use the in-house clothing, razors, and anything else you need. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

The building is a bit dated.
The bed was a little too hard for me.
The bathroom had a slight drainpipe smell, which might be a bit noticeable.

However, the cleaning was thorough, and I was otherwise satisfied.

I was worried about the room because it was cheap, but it was surprisingly clean.

The hotel is average and not very cost-effective. It's not close to the station. Breakfast is a bento, which is not suitable for Chinese tastes. However, the front desk staff was quite enthusiastic and I hope there are more noodles to choose from for breakfast.

It was built within walking distance from Kakegawa station and I was able to use the free parking lot.
It took more than an hour to check in, but I asked the lady at the front desk to park only the car in the parking lot.
During that time, I visited Kakegawa Castle and checked in for a tour of my favorite castle.

・ It seems that the parking lot is on a first-come, first-served basis, but I am grateful that you can use it for free.
・ Breakfast, freshly cooked rice, and all-you-can-eat miso soup at this low price. It was delicious.
・ I recommend the izakaya "Ippo" on the 2nd floor. I was able to grasp the quality of the shop from the deliciousness of draft beer. You can hear the polite work style from the beginning. From sashimi to meat dishes, everything was delicious. The assortment of sake and shochu is probably decided by those who are familiar with sake. I really recommend "Ippo" rather than going to a nearby restaurant.

It was a pity that the rooftop open-air bath was closed due to the new coronavirus, but I would like to use it again next time when I go on a business trip to Kakegawa.
