Beautiful courtyard, nice onsens, very helpful staff. The traditional ryokan and Japanese breakfast experience was unforgettable here!

Great Ryokan stay with great breakfast and Onsen. Shosenkyo gorge is one of the accessible nearby attractions. It can be accessed by public transportation.

You can take a bath in the hot spring anytime and the service is excellent!
The garden view is also beautiful!

Yanagiya is a nice little local onsen. They do not have too many rooms so you will not feel overcrowded. It is a nice place to spend for days to relax your body and mind.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They can speak limited English but in case you come across any issue with language, feel free to use translation app.

If you are driving, the onsen is easy to find and there is a carpark in front of the Onsen with plenty of space. There are also 2 x EV charging but not sure if they are for onsen guess.

The room is spacious, clean and tidy. The air conditioner is featured with heater and cooler function, so you don't have to worry about weather during winter and summer.

The hot spring is open for 24 hrs, except time when they swap between male and female access, usually it takes 30 minutes and they take this opportunity to clean up the facilities too.

Food are generally fine and portion is reasonable. Staff are caring d considerate. We have two kids at age of 7 and 9 and they do not take spicy or raw food. When they noticed, they have offered to tailor made the breakfast for the kids so that they don't prepare food that kids do not eat.

A one-story inn with rooms surrounding a courtyard. A good ryokan for those who want to relax in a hot spring. The room is spacious and clean. Much better value than staying at a business hotel in Kofu. There is also a plan without meals

The good: very nice staff, the onsen is nice with a bath inside and two others outside. The rooms designs are traditional and warm.

The bad: the food is awful. Half is bought from the ready-made industrial production. Most foods are too sweet (sweet fish sauce, sweet seaweed, sweet meat, sweat everything). The first day was just not good, the second day made us sick.
The rooms are a bit old so wife and kids got splinters on their feet.

In Yumura, Kofu Tokiwa is a luxury inn, and many others are reasonably priced. Supper and breakfast were lined with handmade items, which was good.
For breakfast, potato salad and kinpira burdock were also handmade.
Meals are 100 points in terms of amount.
It's been about 15 or 20 years since the rooms and facilities were renewed, and they have been cleaned up, so I don't think there will be any problems.
However, despite the fact that it was touted as a free-flowing hot spring, the depth of the indoor bath was like a footbath due to a device failure. I felt a little disappointed that the bubbles were blowing on the surface of the water due to the circulation.
From the hot spring inn Touta, I want you to manage the hot springs in that respect.

It was an inn that I found in a hurry at the end of the year.
It was a reasonably priced hot spring inn. Both the hot springs and the open-air baths have a reasonable size. It is a hot spring that feels like it is being circulated while flowing from the source.
Three massage chairs are also available free of charge.

Access is about 1500 yen by taxi from Kofu Station. There was also a convenience store within walking distance.

The food was reasonable and I was satisfied with the stay for the time being.

Each room has a balcony-like terrace overlooking the courtyard garden, so it's a great place to cool off after a bath.
