Hotel Kasugai in Fuefuki

First of all, when we arrived at the lobby, there was no word of welcome. This time, my elderly parents invited me to celebrate their 60th birthday, but the view from the room they booked was bad, and since they requested a room facing the river, I appealed to the hotel to change the room, and after a lot of arguing, they finally changed it. My elderly mother didn't seem to understand that we couldn't guarantee the river side when we made the reservation, but I wish they had contacted us in advance if the river side was not possible. The room we were changed to was a Western-style room with a very old feel, and although the view was good, I thought it was not suitable for a 60th birthday celebration. The room we had stayed in before was full, so it couldn't be helped. However, when I actually stayed there, there was no one in the open-air bath, no one in the lobby, no one in the elevator, and only three groups of guests were staying at the breakfast venue, so I couldn't understand how the room I wanted to stay in could be full. My parents were disappointed that their 60th birthday celebration had been ruined. The dinner was not tasty, only called kaiseki. The food was too salty and inedible, and the fried food was dry and crumbly. The dishes were old-fashioned. The Shine Muscat grapes served for breakfast were squishy and different from the ones I usually eat. As for the hot springs...is this what hot springs are like? My hands became dry and flaky. Incidentally, I go to Ito Onsen two or three times a year, but I have never had my hands become dry and flaky.
