Richmond Hotel Matsumoto in Matsumoto

The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel also provides thoughtful toiletries and personal care
products. Good location with sightseeing spots iwithin walking distance.

On top of that, the staff were very helpful and patient, my son accidentally left his toy behind, and they went out of their way to help us find it. Truly appreciated!

The hotel is close to the JR station and many attractions. The Matsumoto castle is within walking distance. The room is basic but clean. Overall a good place to tourists.

Richmond hotel was a short walk from the Matsumoto JR Station and Bus Station.
Bed was comfortable and room good size for 3 pax.
Breakfast at Cafe Gusto had a good selection and was yummy!

The triple room was quite spacious. The front desk is on the second floor, and the staff were very helpful. Toothbrushes and other toiletries, including facial care products and even face masks, need to be picked up yourself next to the front desk, and there's a good variety. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choices. You can also have lunch and dinner here, but it's open to the public, so you might have to queue during peak hours, as it's a very popular restaurant. There's parking available next to the hotel, but you can't reserve a spot.

The location is very nice. Staffs are polite and kind. The room is very comfy. It's beyond our expectation. Worth every penny!

Great Stay at Hotel Courtland, Matsumoto!

Just wanted to drop a quick review for Hotel Courtland in Matsumoto—what a pleasant find!

The location is absolutely fantastic. Seriously, it's about a 5-minute, worry-free walk from the station. This was a huge plus, especially since we had luggage; no need to struggle or look for a taxi. Adding to the value, the price at the time of booking was very cheap, making this a fantastic deal!

As for the hotel itself, I have to say, it's exceptionally clean. Like, super clean. It made our stay feel very comfortable and relaxing.

What really stood out was the amazing hospitality. We arrived after a 4-hour ride from Tokyo and were pretty frozen from the winter shock. The staff kindly offered us a free early check-in, which was incredibly thoughtful and exactly what we needed to warm up and refresh. It really saved the day!

We didn't get a chance to try the breakfast this time, but based on everything else, I imagine it's great too.

Highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in Matsumoto!

there are good lacation, near matsumoto station and a lot of food restaurent. good service and a lot of amenities but there are not water for drink but have ice machine. It is near family mart.
