Meals were delicious and enjoyable.
Hotel is a bit run down and little sound proofing you can hear laughing and talking of people outside your room. The hot springs also face bullet train station.
Expensive, not really worth the price.

This is a hotel I'd definitely stay at again. It's super close to Yuzawa Station, just a 3-minute walk away. All the good restaurants in town are basically right around here. The room was really comfortable, and they even provided freshly ground coffee and a great selection of tea sets so you could brew your own. The hot spring was fantastic; the public bath was already so relaxing, and the private baths were even better – free and no reservation needed! Breakfast was also delicious, though the portions were a bit small. And there's free late-night ramen available, which tasted amazing.

The value for money for this room was extremely poor. For 3000 RMB a night for two people, the room was so small we couldn't even open our suitcases. On the bright side, the breakfast was excellent, and the overall decor was very stylish since the hotel is brand new. My main complaint is that it was simply too expensive; I really didn't feel it was worth the price.

We are not allowed to wear our own shoes once we enter the lobby. If we are expected to walk bare feet, maybe the hotel should consider providing guest with indoor slippers.
It is very uncomfortable walking to the restaurants barefeet as no matter how clean they keep the floors, there’s bound to be food spills and oily surfaces.
Breakfast and Dinner are great, just need more variety for guests staying more than 3 days.

The location of hotel is close to JR station and some ski equipment rental shop. Hotel staff are friendly but some are not able to communicate in English fluently. We reserved a room included dinner and breakfast with various choice. They also provided free saki during dinner session. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and will be back in future.

I'd noticed this onsen hotel last year while skiing at GALA. It's really convenient, right on the hot spring street, and a very traditional Japanese onsen hotel.

Overall great experience over three nights, loved the public and private bath, great hospitality, room was spacious and very clean. Two issues : walls are very thin and a noisy neighbor can very quickly drive you crazy (experienced during first night) and the blinds are not fully blacked out, leaving early morning lights waking us up (a matter of taste and minor issue).

situated at a very strategic location, this hotel is close to railway station, shops and restaurants. it is not a small boutique so expect very crowded and noisy in peak season. we stayed at the best room with onzen inside so the room is spacious. however, the onzen is tiny as compared to others I stayed before. did not try any restaurants this time. expect hotel price with average quality.

Everything about the service was top-notch.

The food was all delicious, and there was plenty of it to fill you up, with kaiseki cuisine even including sake, and the option to choose one dish from the menu.

After 10 PM, they offer a late-night snack called 'yonaki soba' (night-time ramen). It's quantity-limited, so when I went a little before 10 PM, many people were already waiting. The dining area has limited seating, but takeaway was an option, so I ate it in my room.

From ice cream after a bath to Yakult in the morning, I was never hungry and felt full the entire time I was at the inn. It was wonderful.

The breakfast was also voluminous, and you could have unlimited rice.

There's also a private bath. While it doesn't have a showerhead, it's a perfect space to spend time with a loved one. It was available when I went in the evening.

Overall, I was surprised by how few Japanese guests there were; most seemed to be Chinese or other Asian guests.

I'd like to stay here again when I go skiing.
