Hotel Granmirage in Uozu

Free parking, basic hotel but unfortunately you cannot open the windows. Nice roof top bath.

It's clean, the service is great, the rooms are spacious, and overall I'm very satisfied.
The bathroom was designed by a designer and was nice and relaxing, but the only downside was that there were only two washing areas and the overall space was quite small...
Day trippers are allowed in until 9pm, so I was fine with going in after that, but I imagine it can get quite crowded if there are other day trippers.
You can check the congestion status by scanning the QR code, so I highly recommend checking before you go. Otherwise you'll end up standing in line waiting for the shower.

Still, the rest area after you get out of the bath was really great. It has a great view, free drinks, and comfortable sofas, so it's great 😊
The food was delicious, and there were a lot of interesting designer exhibits in the lobby.

This hotel is within walking distance of Uozu Station. It's probably the best hotel in the area, with a prestigious lobby. It's rare to find a hotel like this in a regional city of this size. It's a bit old, but it's been renovated, and the sauna on the top floor is especially modern and stylish. It's worth staying just for that reason.

The rooftop sauna has a great design, but the outdoor oven is too hot; you'll want to leave after 10 seconds. The outdoor pool is too cold, and there aren't enough spaces in the rinsing and combing areas.

I stayed here on a business trip.
I was traveling alone in a twin room!
I had heard that the baths were good, but they close early at night, so I took a morning bath!
It was nice to just relax in the open-air bath while being blown by the breeze.
Even though I was there for work, I still felt like I was on vacation.

There were two types of saunas.

My favorite was the Mukanburo, a bath that was neither too hot nor too cold, about 30°C, and felt like you could stay there forever. The view of the Sea of ​​Japan was amazing!

The amenities were Osaji, including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and a Refa shower head and hair dryer, which were great for women! ⭐︎
I recommend the spa alone!

like this hotel. Location is perfect. Rooms not so fresh. Food was very delicious , especially fondue with banana and marshmallows. Sauna and hot springs was excellent: the view amazing and free drinks were cool.

The single room was a bit small and the facilities were a bit dated, but overall it was clean. There was a slight body odor when I checked in, probably from the staff, but since it was late, I turned on the air purifier. I was so tired, so I rushed to the baths early the next morning. I don't know if it was a hot spring, but the view was great, from the rooftop open-air room with a view of the ocean.

The front desk spoke English, so communication was smooth. The breakfast was average, but still plentiful.

So, I still recommend it.

Perfect Hotel even during the time of crisis. Hotel provides every needed amenities. New public baths are super clean and niche.
