The room was incredibly spacious. The facilities, while having a traditional Japanese hotel style that's a bit dated, were exceptionally clean. The breakfast and dinner I booked were very elaborate. The staff translated and explained every dish to us, which greatly enhanced the service experience.

The cascading waterfall in the Yamanaka area was a stunning sight, and our tatami room was spacious and comfortable. The kaiseki meal was superb, and the onsen waters were excellent. It was a wonderful experience overall. Be sure to use the free shuttle bus from Kagaonsen Station, as the hotel is quite a distance away.

Kaga was my absolute favorite gem of a city during my Hokuriku trip! One day it even snowed ❄️ which was truly beautiful! I'll definitely come back to Hokuriku again next time!!!

Huazi is about a 25-minute drive from Kaga Onsen Station. The hotel will send an email to inquire about the arrival time and provide free pick-up. The room was old and run-down, and there were too many small animals. The "hot spring water" in the room seemed to be just boiled regular water; it didn't taste like hot spring water at all. The breakfast was unpalatable and extremely salty. I won't go back. 👎

However, since it hasn't been updated or renovated, guests have to climb 71 uneven rocks down and up in slippers, I do not recommend for people without strong legs or vision. A great hot spring hotel with one night and two meals. The service is great. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are delicious and tasty. I definitely recommend it! The room is very spacious and the private bath gives you the freedom to bathe whenever you want. It's great!

This hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. It's excellent. Although it's a bit far from the station, they offer a shuttle service, which is great.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

The hotel is a bit remote and the facilities are a bit old. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Gusoyu (one of the attractions), and all the nearby shops are open after 5 pm, so if you arrive before 3 pm, it is very inconvenient to go out and find food! The room is big enough and clean

I took my mother, who has trouble walking, with me, and they provided a wheelchair for her, and a Japanese-Western style room for her, who has trouble getting out of bed, which was very helpful. Of course, the hot springs were also very pleasant, and my mother was very happy with them.

I booked this hotel for the Fukui Marathon. Its location couldn't be more perfect, right downstairs from the start and finish lines, making it ideal for pre-race rest and post-race recovery. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but it has everything you need. It was a pleasant travel experience overall.

Lobby is grand and great area, check in service is fast, smooth and patient for serving. Lobby contain a 24-hr shop for us buying snack. Room is clean, big and window can sightseeing city view, great. Bed is comfortable, hotel provide types of pillow for selection , comfortable for sleeping well.

I really enjoyed the night at Hotel fujita Fukui. The staff are so nice and the room was nice as a single room. They would not allow early check-in, but you can leave your luggage there. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the Fukui station by walk.

The room was small, but clean and well renovated. It is a bit far from the train station. After checking-in, don't forget to grab some amenity kits from the front desk area.

Their breakfast buffet stands out as always, featuring local Fukui specialties like soba and sauce katsu. Together with the tonsen and free night-time ramen, all these provide incredible value.

The hotel's location near the JR station is very convenient, and there's a department store right next door. The hotel itself is quite new and the room facilities are excellent. What I love most about the Dormy Inn group are their hot spring facilities and their thoughtful breakfast selection. This particular location feels just as good as Onyado Nono.

Good location, nearby fukui station, lot of restaurants surronding. Room was very clean, exceptionally clean in bathroom, with plenty of space, but the design was not quite making good use of space. The hotel provides free late night snack at restaurant and welcome snacks & drinks in room.

Theres only one chair in the lobby, that nobody can sit on, because it's got a strong parfume dispenser right next to it, that goes off every 15 seconds. The people on reception have bad english. There’s no Laundry room, only expensive Laundry service, that doesn’t work on the weekends. The guests above us must have had kids or something, because they were constantly making loud thumping noises.

Located in the business center, the hotel offers excellent service. The rooms, while not large, are well-laid out and have complete toiletries. It's within walking distance of attractions such as Kenrokuen Garden and Kanazawa Castle. There are buses to Kanazawa Station on the left side of the street outside the hotel. Overall, it was a great stay.

This hotel is in an excellent location, with friendly, helpful service and generally good quality rooms. One downside to my stay was the bed, which was very uncomfortable. The hotel's proximity to the old districts, museums and gardens is a big plus.

Superb location and hospitality. Spacious, clean, and quiet room. I attended the Kanazawa Marathon on the weekend, the hotel location is right across the street, and the hotel was so caring to open breakfast buffet at 6:30am so runners can have breakfast before race.

Had a fantastic stay at the Kanazawa Inn! The location is superb, within walking distance to attractions like Kenrokuen Garden. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quite spacious. They offer complimentary tea all day, plus free afternoon tea and even evening ochazuke. The staff were friendly, the decor is modern, and it's great value for money. Highly recommend!

The location is about a 10-minute taxi ride from the station, but it's close to nearby tourist attractions. The front desk staff are all friendly. The matcha set sold at the first-floor cafe is also very satisfying.

Love the modern decor and style

I was concerned that the air conditioning in the hotel lobby and hallways was too strong. I would be happy if there were a wider variety of amenities. The hotel itself was very clean and convenient, with convenience stores and markets within walking distance. This is a hotel I would definitely stay at again if I come to Kanazawa.

We have a 2-year-old child, so the Japanese-style room was comfortable. The hotel's welcome service and breakfast were really great. The menu was different on the second day, and the quiche was delicious. I would like to stay at this hotel again next time I visit Kanazawa in a different season.

From Shirakawa Station, take any bus to Oyama Jinja Shrine, cross the road, and look to the right. The hotel is in a great location, within a 20-minute walk of many attractions. Buses are also available. The room was small and spacious, but lacked windows, making it dimly lit, but otherwise the amenities were good. The bathroom had three separate sinks. Mitsui Garden always be my first hotel when I explore the new region in Japan. Location is a bit outside the main central city, in walking distance. The hotel servicer can easily communicate with English, understand customer needs, that's super nice. And Mitsui Garden normally have the top floor hot tube area which is super good for me to relax after full day travel around. 

The hotel's overall environment is outstanding. Dining by the window offers spectacular views, which was a real treat. The breakfast spread was extensive with fresh ingredients, leaving me very satisfied. The biggest surprise was the hot spring bath area on the top floor; soaking in the springs while enjoying the view outside the window was an incredible experience. Overall, my stay was fantastic!

This is my second time staying here. The room is nice, but it's a bit far from the subway. We drove, and parking was very expensive – we had to find our own spot. However, it's just 200 meters from Omicho Market, and within walking distance to Kanazawa Castle Park, Kenroku-en, and Higashi Chaya District. The hotel is clean and has a public bath and laundry room.

This garden hotel offers an excellent experience! The location is superb, very close to major attractions. They even provided a free one-day bus pass, which was fantastic! The rooftop hot springs were so relaxing. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. Breakfast was also very extensive.

The hotel is quite a walk from the station, about 20 minutes, or you can take a bus. It's very close to the seafood market. The hotel has a large public bath. For breakfast, the hotel's own breakfast is good, or you can choose to eat at partner restaurants in the seafood market.

Best was the receptionist! A young and very professional gentleman that helped us with everything along our stay, he normally works in Kyoto but came for a week to the hotel in kanazawa. The hotel is clean and tidy, and there's a hot spring bath on the top floor. It's located near Omicho Market. I booked early and got a triple room for less than 300 per night, which was excellent value for money. I was very satisfied with my 4-night stay.

Great location, very close to the station and surprisingly quiet. However, there was a strong BBQ smell in the hotel hallway, likely from the yakiniku restaurant downstairs. It actually smelled quite good! We even ended up eating there. My clothes definitely smelled of grilled meat afterward. I didn't take any photos of the hotel itself, but it had a rather artistic vibe to it.

The hotel service was excellent, with a shuttle bus from the JR subway station. The hotel's decor was retro-style, and the teaware and tableware were made of local Maruya ware porcelain—very beautiful! The breakfast was also delicious, with everything I liked. Hakuchoro is a classic in Kanzawa, the decor is very tastefully done and the overall atmosphere has character.  It’s onsen is natural spring water and though the bath are relatively modest, it never gets crowded.  They provide free bus shuttles to and from the Kanazawa station and is a very helpful feature. There's a dedicated shuttle bus, and the service is quite good... It's a bit of a shame we didn't get to soak in the hot springs... It's very close to the attractions, making it convenient to walk there with kids... There's also classical music performance in the evening.

This is one of the best hotels in Kanazawa. Although it's been open for over 30 years, it's still very well-maintained. The rooms on the higher floors offer superb views of the entire city, much better than what you'd get at Sanraku or Hyatt. The breakfast quality is also excellent.

The rooms are clean, and each one comes with a foot massager, which is really soothing after a long day of walking. The breakfast selection is varied and plentiful, and the staff are very helpful and patient, even when there's a language barrier. This hotel offers great value for money, even though it was slightly overpriced due to Japan's spring break. The room was quite spacious. I especially loved the hotel's large public bath; it was so relaxing and washed away all the fatigue. Lovely place. Value for money. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable. Location is 8 minutes walk from the train station but you’ll have to use the underpass if you’re bringing a large luggage. The only thing I can pick on is the room design that puts the washing basin outside as it takes away quite some usable space for the luggage when the room itself is quite spacious. We had two 55-65cm suitcases but still struggled slightly to get space for both.

It's genuinely very close to Kinshicho Station. The room was a bit small, but having a 7-Eleven downstairs was convenient for buying things. The hotel has a large public bath, which was nice for a soak. The front desk staff were very friendly. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

Room is spacious and very nicely decorated. There’s tv console with vanity corner, with plenty of table top space which is typically lacking in compact hotel rooms. Bathroom is spacious with separated toilet, bathroom and sink area.
