APA Hotel Sapporo Odori Ekimae Nishi in Sapporo

Stayed here for four nights during the Snow Festival and it was at least 100$ cheaper per night than other area hotels. Brand new, spotless, and exactly what you know and expect from APA. It was around a 10-15 minute walk to Susukino and the main shopping street, hence the lower price, but that’s totally ok. About a 20 minute walk via underground passage to Sapporo Station. Check in and check out process was smooth, staff polite, friendly, no issues at all!

For airport access - if you have bags - it MIGHT be easier to take the orange Tozai line to/from the station right next to the hotel, Nishi Juitchome, and change at Oyachi to the airport bus (cash only). We preferred this with bags on arrival (evening time, no same day bag sending was possible).Use Airporter for same day bag delivery to airport, they work with APA and must have bags ready in lobby at 9a.

Professional staff made me feel highly valued and respected. I wish they had more amenities but the price is reasonable.

Stayed four nights here. Very newly opened property near Odori Park. Everything about the hotel and my room feels very fresh and clean. If you have stayed in other APA hotels, then this one shouldn't be much different. Kind and friendly staff all around. Complimentary breakfast was provided by the Chinese restaurant on the ground floor, and it was decent. The hotel is within walking distance to the Sapporo TV Tower, Susukino, and Odori subway station. The hotel is surrounded by 3 paid parking lots for those arriving by car.

Tip: The parking lot attached to the hotel gets filled up first and is also the priciest at 1800 yen per day. The lot to the left of the hotel when you step out is slightly cheaper at 1500 yen per day and has an even lower cost to park over the weekend (800 yen per day). Will definitely return back when I visit Sapporo again.

The hotel is located at the most strategic area in Sapporo. From here, you can take the public transport, either the tram or the bus to the railway station and from there, travel all across Hokkaido or Sapporo.
I had the two-single bed room and it has all the facilities to make our stay a great one.
It has the electric kettle and tea. The bathroom has all the usual, and more, amenities such as hair comb, small face towel, tooth brush, shaver, face and hand wash, shampoo and conditioner, and a body shampoo.
The WiFi in the room is just amazing and the bed is comfortable. It has a sofa and I used it to set my luggage on. The hotel provide slippers to use as they provide vending machine and microwave at the lobby. There is also a convenient store at the lobby.
