Jr Inn Hotel in Chitose

The hotel is conveniently located near JR Chitose Station, just two stops from New Chitose Airport (CTS). It is less than a minute's walk to the hotel. The room size is modest, as is typical for the price point(i booked early), but the bathroom is more spacious than average. A selection of pillows is available in the lobby for guests to choose from. Guests are required to use the self-check-in machine.

We arrived late in Chitose, so decided to stay a night here before driving out tomorrow morning. The room is clean and comfortable, making for a restful stopover. All amenities are conveniently nearby—7‑11, Aeon, and the famous Garaku ramen—plus it’s within walking distance to the JR station. Free parking is available, and it’s easy to get around from here.

The hotel and its rooms are brand new. Although the bed isn't huge, it's perfectly adequate. The upside of a smaller bed is that it frees up more floor space. In a room of the same size, I had more room to walk around and easily fit my 26-inch suitcase without it getting in the way. It was very clean and comfortable, I really liked it.

The hotel is conveniently located just a minute's walk from the JR station, and it's also very close to New Chitose Airport, only a 10-15 minute train ride away. There's a bus stop next to the hotel for trips to Lake Shikotsu, and about a 15-minute walk brings you to an Aeon store, which is more like a supermarket than a large department store. Right next door to the hotel is a library called MACHI Library @ Chitose. When I didn't feel like being alone in my room, I'd go there to sit. There were locals, students, mothers, and children – it felt very warm and inviting, and I really enjoyed being among people.

The hotel front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. There are some great eateries in the surrounding neighborhood; just open Google Maps and explore! They're delicious and not overly crowded.

The only downside was the price of the coin-operated washing machines. A single wash cost 2-3 times more than at other hotels I stayed at in Sapporo and Asahikawa. The dryer, however, wasn't more expensive than elsewhere.

The soundproofing at this hotel is excellent. I didn't hear any noise and was able to sleep soundly even without earplugs.

If I visit Chitose again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

Very convenient location, super near to Jr station, room view is quite good as well. Convenience store like 7-11, family mart, Lawson are just walking distance. Inside the hotel there are alot amenities and facilities like public bath, reading corner, etc. However the room slightly dirty as I saw some long hairs (which is obviously not mine), little shredded paper on the floor.

The hotel is right next to the train station with a direct train from New Chitose Airport. There are convenient stores around the hotel and it is also within walking distance to an AEON Mall with food court and supermarket. The hotel has a guest lounge at the 2nd level right next to the Onsen. It serves as a good social space if you are visiting as a group.

The location is fantastic, really close to the JR station and surrounded by convenience stores. The breakfast is delicious too! It's perfect for catching early flights or if you just want a hassle-free stay. The price is also reasonable. Highly recommend!

Excellent location right next to JR station and bus terminal. Guests can choose their preferred pillows at the lobby which is excellent.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location, right outside JR Chitose Station. Across from the JR station, there's an Aeon mall with McDonald's, KFC, Saizeriya, and Yoshinoya, making dining very convenient. Overall, the hotel offers average value for money. If you're not catching an early flight, I'd recommend staying in Sapporo instead.

All amenities, room, and facility are OK. They has a small Onsen tub. I stayed here to plan to get to the airport in the morning fast. It is only 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport and very close to Chitose station in 1 mins walk. Pretty expensive during snow festival tho.
