The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but the service is very good. It offers free airport and harbor shuttle services, as well as free bicycles – a must-do activity on Rishiri Island. The food is quite good and varied, offering decent value for money. However, as some online reviews have mentioned, the hotel only has fans, not air conditioning. But given the pleasant temperature on Rishiri Island, air conditioning isn't really necessary.

I was surprised to find that the facilities did not have air conditioning. It was so hot at night that I couldn't sleep.
The open-air bath was nice, but the surrounding weeds were not maintained and there were a lot of mosquitoes and ants. I was also scared when a large wasp appeared halfway through.
This used to be a very nice place, and I'm sure it holds many memories for families and couples, so I hope they will continue to make improvements and do their best.

The hotel needs updating. With the climate change, adding air conditioning to the rooms is essential for guest comfort. A fan is not enough to cool the rooms. Also, the carpeting needs to the updated. Our room had a 3" wide hole in the carpet. The carpet appeared to be at least 20 years old.
With few restaurants on the island and close by, it would be nice to offer some food service that could allow guests who arrive on the late ferry the opportunity to eat something other than needing to trek to the convenience store.
The service was fine and the shuttle service was much appreciated.

The hotel itself is quite old, but it still remains proper necessary facilities. The onsen bath is nice. Set menu for dinner is excellent although it's quite a bit too much for me.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the pier, but thankfully there's a free shuttle bus, so that's not a big problem. The rooms were clean and hygienic, and there was a hot spring bath. Very comfortable.

We chose this hotel during our trip to Rishiri Island. There aren't many options on the island, and prices aren't cheap, but we didn't want to stay in some guesthouses without private bathrooms. This is a proper hotel with spacious rooms and good views. There's also a free onsen (hot spring) area, though there's a tax of around 600 yen. It's a 15-minute walk from Rishiri Port. There are convenience stores nearby, and the hotel offers free bicycle rentals, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. They also provide free shuttle buses to the airport and port, which is very thoughtful. We booked the Soba (sou-ho) room, so I won't comment on the food.

The shuttle to and from the Oshidomari Ferry Terminal and Rishiri Airport was very helpful. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious and very satisfying. The staff were also wonderful, calling out to us at the perfect time during dinner and bringing the food very smoothly. Drink prices were also very reasonable. In terms of facilities, the elevator buttons were slow to respond and the bathroom was a bit old, but there were sufficient amenities and the very friendly staff made for a comfortable stay.

I used this hotel when climbing Mt. Rishiri-Fuji. The building was a little old, but the room itself was well-maintained and there were no problems with usability. The large bath was a hot spring, so I was able to fully relieve the fatigue of climbing. The store in the building is open at limited times, so it may be convenient to do your shopping at the nearby Secoma. Dinner was mainly made with local ingredients, but was mediocre. It seems that the hotel is often used by groups, so I recommend having breakfast at the start of the day or later when the buffet is crowded.
