The room size is decent, but the facilities are a bit old and there's a slight odor. The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven and a subway station nearby. It's a short walk to drag luggage through the snow.

staff were every kind. We could deposit our baggage 1 night since we stayed 2 nights and went somewhere else 1 night and came back to stayed one more night. However we saw they provided free milk for guess in the fridge but we have never got it for 3 nights

The room was very hot and stuffy in winter, with no ventilation (not even in the toilet/bathroom). The room had no windows and no air conditioning, only central heating that couldn't be switched to a cooling or ventilation mode. We were baking every day and woke up extremely dry. Aside from the room issues, everything else was great.

This hotel is rather old-fashioned, but the service is good, the rooms are spacious enough, and breakfast and complimentary coffee are provided.

Location was so far ok, but could be closer to main interesting locations in the city. The offered parking lots are just made for small cars, bigger ones have to park at the opposite side of the road. The cost is poorly not covered by the hotel! Breakfast could have more options as well.

The service was excellent, and the breakfast and the complimentary parfait delivered in the evening were delicious. It's also very close to the station.

It's really convenient for getting to Annupuri ski resort. They have a shuttle service that takes you there right away, and the staff are very friendly.

This is our second time staying at this hotel for the ski season. Although it's a bit old, it offers great value for money. The rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen, and the laundry room is convenient and reasonably priced. It's a shame that many shuttle bus routes and stops have been canceled this year; we can only get to the nearest Annupuri, and need to take the Niseko bus to other ski resorts...

The hotel was clean, but the location is not so good for the whole niseko area and their shuttles don’t cover many places. The service was bad, specially in the restaurant, I always had to have dinner there cause I didn’t have another option during the evening. Everytime I had dinner they wouldn’t even bring forks or spoons to eat even when they already brought the food, they could forget my fork...

The room is clean and spacious with full facilities and a good view. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. There is a washing machine and dishwasher. There is a locker for storing ski equipment on the ground floor. After playing, you don't have to carry it up to the room. It's great.

Everyone at Maples are friendly and helpful. Rendering their assistance from fetching us at Hirafu Welcome centre, Rhythm for our ski rental, sending us to dot base for ski class. The hotel is in a great location, very close to Hirafu Welcome Center. The staff will contact us by email in advance, and the pick-up is very convenient and on time! I chose this apartment hotel when I came to Niseko for skiing. The reception staff was very enthusiastic and was happy to help me send my ski bag to Tokyo when I checked out, and arranged a shuttle bus to take us to Kutchan Station. Stayed for a week in February in the Studio Apartment. Just right for a couple, small kitchen with microwave/oven, sink, fridge and appliances (no cooktop). OK for breakfast or food truck meals, but a bit small for cooking dinner. Best Value in Town This place is amazing. Its right next to the center of the Hirafu town where all the action (food) and transportation is. Lawson also right next door. Rooms are small but smartly designed, I felt more comfortable here than in many other larger hotel rooms. Staff was friendly and wanting to go above and beyond to help me get out of a jam when there were no taxis in town.

We booked standard rooms at $600 AUD per night .. they forgot to mention that these rooms are basement level with a window looking up to the road .. they also forgot to mention that these rooms are next to the staff room, the laundry, the maintenance room so everyday we had bags and bags of laundry and loads of noise by the staff. Luxury at a reasonable price The property is about 50 yards from the ski lift. The room is spacious and well appointed. We had a kitchenette with fridge and microwave as well as flatware. The Onsen is smaller but nice and comfortable / relaxing.

Stayed at the lower ground hotel room. Very convenient as it’s on the same floor as the ski locker but somehow there’s a smell of the boots on the whole floor. We have an upstairs room which doesn’t have this problem so I would suggest book the upstairs room

Excellent choice for Niseko The Setsumon was in an excellent location - easy to walk almost anywhere in Hirafu. The apartment was huge and quite comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was a lack of their own transportation around town.

I stayed at The Setsumon for two nights in February and had a fantastic experience. The location was excellent, and the facilities were top-notch. Most notably, the customer service was exceptional—Paige and Monique at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. First time staying at the Setsumon and it by far has exceeded any accommodation I have stayed in at a ski resort. The apartment was very modern, spacious, comfortable bed and delightful staff. A special shout out to the cheery young fellow Andrew who drove us to Kutchan last minute to catch our train and helped us with our belongings. God bless!

These apartments are very central to lifts, restaurants, retail and sports stores which we found very convenient. Certainly this made our weeks stay with all the fresh powder very enjoyable. The staff at Maples reception were excellent, especially Elissa and Gabrielle who organised our gear on Black Cat, helped with transport and greatly assisted our departure (after a visit to the medical enter)

Front desk was very helpful and there’s ski rental within the hotel so it’s very convenient. It’s also a few metres away from the gondola.

The staff were positive and friendly, and worked hard to help me solve the problem of connecting the TV to Apple TV. Their English was also very good. The downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room, but there were fans available, and the price was a bit high.
