Grandpa was very nice. The room was very clean, and the price was reasonable, making me feel relaxed. Kyoto is very beautiful. I'd love to come again.

Super nice, super cozy guesthouse! The grandpa was very friendly, the Japanese-style room was very clean, and all the facilities were complete, making it feel like staying at home. Highly recommended! :)

Fantastic! Helped us with all we needed, even with things we didn’t expect. Like picked us up at the station and washed our clothes at this private washer, when the main washer was in use.

Guest house Bon, is a great place to stay, but if you are tall it is a bit cramped, it wasn't uncommon to hit you head on the roof, the place was very clean and Bon was very accommodating,he was the best part of the trip

The room was quite clean and it was a very traditional Japanese building. The landlord was also very nice and told me where I could buy dinner. There was also a hot spring near the hotel.

It was good and owner was very helpful! But one very impornatn moment: they have gas heater in the room with timer, its turn off enery 3 hours and make enormusly loud sound and you shoul wake up every 3 hours and turn it on again (without it you can do in winter, you get cold) and so we cant rest normally because all night long we shoul wake up and tutn heater again

It's a beautiful typical Japanese-style house. The landlord is super enthusiastic. He will recommend nearby restaurants and help plan money-saving transportation methods. When checking out, he insisted on driving my luggage to the next hotel for me. The house is not in the city center. Although it is a bit remote, it is very quiet and allows you to immerse yourself in the most local life. It is close to the Kamogawa River and you can go for a run when you get up early. I will continue to stay here next time I come to Kyoto!

A Japanese-style machiya located in Kita Ward, you can walk to Daitokuji Temple and is also close to Kinkakuji Temple. There is a shared kitchen, living room, shower (single room), etc. There are many cups, tea and coffee, and there is a huge hand-painted map on the wall of the living room. It is very beautiful, clean and full of life.
The shop owner was very enthusiastic and explained the map to me seriously. If you have any questions, you can ring the doorbell and call the shop owner, hahahahaha.
The room I live in is upstairs. The door is two doors that can be opened and locked.
