I arrived by early morning flight on 6 March 2026 at Terminal 2 international arrivals and got on a free airport shuttle to this hotel at Terminal 1.

The hotel is just within 10 minutes walk from Terminal 1 of Kansai International Airport, the location is superb especially if you got an early morning flight to catch.

This was not our first stay at the hotel and we enjoyed it. Beds and pillows were a bit firm but still comfy.

Hotel room and ambience felt dated but it was very clean. Water pressure in our room was great with all amenities stocked.

We had breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant and quite a varied range of quality dishes with local produce were served. Eggs were delicious.

Would have given 4 stars if not for the front desk male staff on duty before 7am who kept serving other hotel check out guests while arranging check in for me.

I would like to sincerely thank Mr. Tosuji (Manager) for his exceptional kindness and professionalism. Despite my mistake in booking a different room (I truly thought I had booked the same one), he was so understanding and gracious in allowing us to remain in the same hotel room for another night. As a mother traveling with a child, moving rooms can be very stressful and difficult, and his consideration meant so much to us.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Ms. Huong for her kind assistance. She was very helpful and supportive throughout our stay.
In fact, all the staff members were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive. While the price difference compared to other hotels in the Kansai area is slight, the level of service, convenience, and genuine hospitality here is truly superior.
Thank you again for making our stay so comfortable and pleasant. We are very grateful. Will definitely come again. Thank you again Mr Tosuji and team.

Highly recommended, especially for early morning or late-night flights!
A quick tip on getting here: Google Maps might tell you it’s a 15-minute walk and lead you on a long detour around the building, but it’s actually less than 5 minutes from Terminal 1. Just head to the floor above the arrivals level (or go to the departures level) and walk toward the Aeroplaza/Railway station building. You’ll see the Hotel Nikko sign right away.
The hotel was spotless and surprisingly quiet—I was worried about plane noise being so close to the airport, but I didn't hear a thing. Check-in/out is efficient with self-service kiosks, and staff are on standby to help. The rooms are spacious, the bathtub is a proper standard size, and they provide all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I’d definitely stay here again!

I would rate them 10 stars if I can. Great service and great location. This is first time my son traveling abroad with me. He had no problem to use regular toilet in US but maybe Japanese design is very adult friendly. The staff found us the kiddo toilet seat, it’s life saver to us.
Other great things about this hotel is very convenient and offering spacious room. You can fit 3-4 suitcases without sacrificing the space of the room. Also you can bring the luggage cart from airport to room and return downstairs.
I would stay again.

Had a great room booked with a great view of the Kansai airport runway. It's a convenient hotel located next to the Kansai airport terminal and the JR line. Staff were helpful though knew little English. The rooms are spacious with great amenities provided such as toothbrushes, hairbrushes, and skincare. The hotel uses Olive Well and Pola. Though I wish they provided some sort of bath product as they have a wonderful bathtub to take a nice soak. The beds are perhaps its only detriment as they were hard and did not have a lot of covering. The beds gave us mild back problems. Overall, I would definitely schedule a stay again for the convenient location.
