The only feedback I have would be regarding the robe provided for the onsen, which felt a bit too small. It would be great if guests could be asked for their sizes beforehand to ensure a better fit.
Additionally, while the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, we did not receive the view that we had paid for, which was slightly disappointing.
Overall, it was still a lovely experience, and I appreciate the hospitality.
Breakfast was impressive, with a wide selection of Japanese and Western dishes and even matcha latte. The onsen was outstanding: there were at least four pools, so it never felt crowded, plenty of shower cubicles, and a steam room with a TV. After each onsen session we could enjoy free ice cream or ice lollies and a bowl of ramen.
The rooms blend modern design with traditional tatami style. The beds were firm and very comfortable, and although our room was on the smaller side (typical for Japan), it had everything we needed. We were also treated to POLA hair and body products in the bathroom and the onsen.
I’d definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return next time I’m in town.
