Nara, 630-8274 Nara, Kitahanda Higashimachi 1, Japan (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
The staff are fabulous, very attentive and customer focused. We had an outdoor private bath which was wonderful and highly recommended. Our one complaint is the beds (futon) they were very thin and hard. We did not sleep well.
This was such a unique experience. I enjoyed my stay and LOVED the in-room onsen tub.
I only wish there was a larger safe in the room. It was on the smaller side, so I couldn’t fit my laptop in it.
The hotel is a little far from the JR station and requires a bus, but it is within walking distance to Kintetsu Nara Station. The location is right next to Todaiji Temple, and it is very convenient to Nara Park and other attractions. The hotel staff had a first-class service attitude, were very attentive, spoke fluent English, and patiently explained the hotel facilities and services. There are also...
Nice environment and clean rooms.
This ryokan was amazing, the food the location the atmosphere. The public sento in the building was beautiful and the private tub in our room was amazing as well. Perfect service, great amenities, we even got a little gift!
I can only recommend this place if you're looking for something truly special. Get the dinner and breakfast here, trust me!!!
The hotel is a bit far from the subway station. It will be difficult to drag suitcases because there are slopes. I stayed in room 303 with an open-air hot spring. The environment of the room was quite good, but there was a wooden false ceiling above the hot spring pool, but birds often stayed there. If they pooped, they just fell into the hot spring... I saw bird droppings in the bathtub. In the end...

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Great central location. In walking distance of train station, restaurants, and tourist sites. Rooms are outdated, but clean and one of the few that allow 3 person occupancy. Only negative is AC struggled to keep room cool, but to be fair there was a July heat wave. A practical, budget friendly hotel.
Great place to stay beautiful breakfast
Good place to stay but the food is pricey.
Right near the entrance to Nara park and in between the two main train stations, this hotel was an absolute steal. The sofa bed for the third guest was a bit too firm for my taste, but I'm sure other people would enjoy it. Staff was super helpful and even carried or bags to our room, which made me feel a little bad because one of my bags was unreasonably heavy.
In a quaint town with a international breakfast spread.

Loved it
Great location, very close to Nara Park, within walking distance. Downstairs there's a pedestrian street with plenty of food and shops. The room was quite spacious, but the carpet was a bit old and dirty. However, the location truly is excellent.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and I really liked the pajamas supplied by the hotel. The lounge was really welcoming, and I liked that you could get hot or iced coffee at any time of day there. The tea selection was also extensive. I also really liked the public bath in the basement. After a day of walking in the winter, nothing beats a soak in the...
The hotel is in a great location. The room is very nice, but with two main weaknesses: no hooks for towels, and no curtains so the sunlight will wake you up.
The staff was very helpful in booking a restaurant for us, but very annoying at the end of our stay as they charged us 2000 yen when one of our bedroom cards fell in the bedroom into the space between the wooden floor and the wall! 😤😑
It’s good but have hard to to sleep on bed location is also good
My trip to Nara with my mom and sister was very close to Nara Kintetsu Station and the shopping street. There was a Starbucks and the shopping street downstairs. It was very convenient to go to various temples and parks to see the deer. The Japanese-style tatami was also provided by the staff during checkout. It was a wonderful memory.

Really clean and friendly staf
We were here for our honeymoon and they very nicely gave us free drinks at their bar. Convenient and nice stay, with deers just right outside the restaurant. Breakfast was great! Very nice room and good to have a laundry at the basement. We really liked our stay a lot.
I had a great stay at Miroku Nara by THE SHARE HOTELS — a stylish boutique hotel in a fantastic location! The hotel feels modern and thoughtfully designed, blending contemporary comfort with touches of local character.
Very nice location, spacious room and design fournitures
Very convenient. Clean and comfortable family room.
Very good location, but they have check-in at 15 and check-out at 10. For every hour over check-out time they charge extra money. It's ridiculous, I faced such a situation for the first time in a hotel.

Our room has 4 futon beds (tatami) which is comfortable to sleep in. The hotel has liquor like sake, coffee, soda water and snacks as welcome drinks for the guests which is a plus point. Distance from JR and Kintetsu train station is within 10min walking distance. On our way to the hotel we already saw some deers which is a nice surprise to us as we are yet to be near to the Nara Park.
The room was spacious for the price, and I was able to relax. I stayed in a twin room, but the firmness of the mattress on the bed suited me, so I slept well. If I could request something more, I would have appreciated being able to choose the height of the pillow.
Breakfast was good. Room so clean
The hotel is in a great location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station, and you can go to see the deer~ There is also a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient
The hotel is also very clean and hygienic, and the bed sheets, bath towels and trash cans are changed every day. The breakfast is also great. Highly recommended!
The location of this hotel is hard to describe. Across the street is a Japanese cemetery. Don't stay here if you mind. It's a long way from Wakakusa Mountain, a certain distance from the station, and a little far from the bustling commercial street. The important thing is that this hotel sees that you are Chinese and can't speak Japanese. They are not enthusiastic at all and don't say hello when they...
This hotel is located in between the two train stations. It is on a busy road, but the sights are walkable. The room was large, and it was great to have a sitting area and space to relax. The furnishings are worn and dated. The onsen is a nice feature at the end of a long day. As were the free drinks in reception in the early evening. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location near Nara Park. There is a souvenir shop at the G/F
My friend and I stayed in a twin room.
We checked in late after returning from the Expo, but the receptionist's kind words helped us relax.
We headed to the hotel from Kintetsu Nara Station, enjoying the beautiful cityscape. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in Nara.
Good environment and good geographical conditions
The toilet is surprisingly clean, the staff is pretty and polite, and it's close to Nara Park and the temple market.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
My husband and I booked a standard room with a double bed on Ctrip. But when we got to the hotel, we were told that it was only for one person, and that two people would have to pay an extra 3,850 yen, about 200 yuan.
I went to argue with Ctrip, but they were tough and official, saying it was my problem and that I didn't see the "one person" mark in a very small corner.
I said I would give a bad...
The lobby is very beautiful. The tea bags provided in the room are unique. The room was upgraded to a standard room, which is spacious, but the bed is still a bit narrow at 1.2 meters. I don't like the thin quilt.

The children experienced a traditional Japanese tatami room and their own private outdoor hot spring. The hotel rooftop was beautiful, and there was also complimentary, incredibly delicious Japanese matcha. It's a 3-minute walk from Todai-ji Temple. Todai-ji is the most beautiful area in Nara Park during autumn.
We went by car!
There was a parking lot where guests could park for free.
The location was also great, as it was only about a 15-minute walk to Todaiji Temple.
We booked a room with dinner and breakfast included, and both were delicious and very satisfying (;;)
They provided petit cakes in the evening, which we enjoyed eating while doodling in our memory notebook!
They even have a hot spring!
The inside...
It’s very near toudaiji & Nara park. However it’s little bit far from the Nara Kintetsu station, it would take about 15-20 minutes by walking.
The room & building are extremely clean.
I recommend the top level of the hotel, you can see the beautiful view and there would be an exotic atmosphere at night.
There are time restrictions for using the public hot spring.
The advantage is its proximity to Todai-ji Temple.
The service is quite good; the staff are polite and friendly.
There are many small deer.
Very nice hotel. Will come back definitely.
You can see Todaiji Temple, a good family travel experience, a destination for two meals and one night.

Really loved the whole experience! From the shuttle bus that was meticulously planned to all the activities available and the delicious selection of food. It would have been nice if they collected our dietary preferences / restrictions ahead of time though so we would have more time to review the available options.
Wonderful stay with excellent food, but a bizarre late-night experience
We had a generally fantastic stay at ANDO Hotel Nara Wakakusayama. The dining experience was exceptional—both the breakfast and dinner were incredibly delicious and well-prepared. We also highly recommend the nighttime stargazing activity. The hotel thoughtfully provided warm tea for everyone during the session, which was a very...
The room was very quiet. The hotel also arranged to take us to the top of the mountain to see the stars. The food was also very good. There was also an outdoor private hot spring. My mother was very happy.
The Japanese-style hotel has a full Japanese style of architecture and decoration. The hot spring is very comfortable, the food is of five-star standard, and the Japanese service is extremely delicate and warm. I accidentally left my lotion in the room, and the hotel contacted me by phone in time and sent it to my next place with a handwritten letter. It was really touching.
A mountaintop hotel that you must stay in when you go to Nara. It has a good environment, good service, and a private hot spring on the top floor. The best thing is that the food here is so delicious. The free dinner is worth the room fee**
We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Staffs are absolutely helpful and considerate, the star appreciation activity and marshmallow roasting are rare but enjoyable experience as well. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Very hard for foreigners to find the hole as the hotel name is not large and clear in English or Chinese. The carpark is not right outside or next to the hotel. It is a public paid carpark at over 100m away from the hotel name.
The hotel and room where nice and spacious, but we got a room with shared toilet which was not clear before booking. They made up for it offering a compensation, but still USD 200 for a shared toilet room sounds excessive
This was a simply magnificent Hotel. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the service was exceptional. The breakfast was superb and the roof top terrace amazing.
This is a truly beautiful hotel with a rich history. The front desk lady was incredibly nice. There's a deer park downstairs. And the view from the window is breathtaking. It was absolutely wonderful.
I really liked the hotel, it is located in the historical center and right at the entrance to the Nara Park with deer. By the way, the deer themselves also wander near the hotel territory. The service at the hotel did not disappoint, the employees are very welcoming. The breakfasts were very surprising (each guest has their own cuisine). I am sure that we will come back again

We stayed at Mikasa Ryokan (万葉若草の宿 三笠旅館) in Nara, and overall it was a great experience — but there are definitely some things you should know and plan for in advance.

An older restaurant, well maintained. There is a dedicated connection point at Kintetsu, and the overall service is good. But the waiters in Taiwan Province are quite indifferent.
The point is that the food is not good, too formal, and the taste is not good.
