Tabist Chunichi Business Hotel Shima in Shima

I stayed in a Japanese-style room for three people. As long as you pay attention to the shower and door in the large communal bath, the overall quality is high and there are no problems. I wonder what people who give low ratings are looking for? I think it's a pretty good inn.

This hotel is conveniently located right next to Ugata Station. It's cheaper than hostels with shared bathrooms and toilets, and includes a unit bath.

The bathtub is a little small, though.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a welcome drink.

Wow! They apparently serve alcohol, so we had some sake.

There's a dining area in a corner of the gift shop on the first floor, where you can relax and unwind.

It's so cozy that we returned from dining out in the evening and relaxed again with a beer and some snacks.

There are four breakfast options to choose from, and for 500 yen, the food and portions are quite filling.

The gift shop on the first floor has an outlet-like feel, with great prices, and I'm sure you'll find some great bargains if you look carefully.

The staff are always very friendly, and this is a hotel I'd like to use again when I visit Ugata.

It was conveniently located near Ugata Station. It was only about 5,000 yen for two people during the Christmas season, so considering the price, I'd rate it 5 stars!
The hotel staff were very kind, and although the lack of an elevator may be inconvenient for some people, they helped me carry my luggage.
The Western-style twin room was spacious and I slept comfortably. The heating worked well, so I was grateful to be able to dry my clothes indoors.
Although it depends on how busy it is, we were able to reserve a private bath, which helped me relax after a day at Shima Spain Village.
