Reviews
The park kind of does a really cliche exaggerated version of what Japanese people probably think Spain is like. With flamenco dancers on the street, a bullfight in every town and men dressed in traditional Spanish outfits yelling "olé" all day.
Obviously when you live in Spain like me, this park is a very funny experience and in many ways completely not representing Spain in its actual way how it is now.
Having said that, the park is fun to visit. It's not super expensive, it was not crowded and the rides were fun enough. Overall I had a good time and enjoyed myself there for an afternoon. Just don't expect a "realistic" portrayal of Spain if that is why you're visiting. Olé!
While I was here, I explored the whole park in around an hour then went on all of the rides. Each ride had a wait time of approximately 2 minutes (just waiting for the last group to finish). I was really impressed with the large roller coaster “Pyrenees”. It had features similar to the flying dinosaur at universal. The other rides also had no line and were really fun.
If you’re planning to eat here, grab the smoked chicken and a churos. Nailed it.
Except for the convenience store being very far away and the dinner reservations being fully booked...
I had a quick dinner beforehand, so there were no issues. There was beer in the vending machine, though.
I think it's a great choice for a theme park visit. I highly recommend it.
Although it is aging, the maintenance and cleaning are thorough and we were able to stay comfortably.
Although we were unable to make a reservation at the regular restaurant at the time we wanted,
the buffet held on certain days was also delicious and we were satisfied with the cost.
Since we had told them in advance that our child had *allergies, they placed a list of allergies on the seats,
and when we carelessly left something on the seat, they called our room and brought it right away.
Thank you very much.
As for the Himawari no Yu, it was bright and open, and the quality of the springs was satisfactory for our family, so we went in three times during our stay.
Above all, we were very grateful that we could take a bath for free even after checking out, and it was very helpful to be able to take a bath before going home after playing at the park.
Shima is a wonderful place that we love, whether it's for sightseeing, food, or the natural environment.
We hope to visit again.
And it's empty...there aren't many people so you can take as many photos as you want!!
Direct admission from the hotel is cheap, close, and great!
I had heard they have the best churros in the world so I was looking forward to it, and they were the most delicious churros I've ever eaten!!
The flower beds were also so carefully maintained that I was impressed!!
