The free onsen looks good but in reality there are no bubbles and no baths to rest your head comfortably. The check in is unbearably slow even when you're an APA card member so they have all your details already

Huge room for one person! The room was very clean with well stocked amenities. I had a great view of Tokyo bay. Picked this hotel because of its proximity to Makuhari Messe.

The abundance of facilities nearby means the area gets very crowded, leading to incredibly long waits for the elevator. That being said, I don't think it would significantly inconvenience your daily routine.

This is my second stay at the APA Hotel. I always choose to stay here whenever there's an event in Makuhari. The rooms are clean, and its proximity to the event hall is incredibly convenient

I also enjoyed the nice ocean view. However, the downside is that when major events coincide, the accommodation fees can double, making it difficult to visit frequently

We stayed here after attending Summer Sonic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful

The room was very spacious. The only downside was the breakfast restaurant, which reeked of cigarette smoke. This made it quite unpleasant and unprofessional, especially for business travelers.

If your room is on the good side, the view over Tokyo and Mount Fuji is fantastic

Perfect location to visit events, shows at the Makuhari Messe. Outlet park just next to it. Train station is only 5min. walking distance from the hotel. Nice bar with view on the sea.

Clean and comfy room and toilet. Polite and helpful staff as well who helped us with catching the airport shuttle bus. Good location and near Kaihimmakuhari Station, and a short walk away from an AEON mall

The facilities are a bit outdated, but for this price point in Japan, most hotels are about the same, so it's relatively reasonable

My 5-night stay at Hotel Francs was very positive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The room size is standard for Japan, which was perfectly fine

The hotel's sauna is fantastic, and the location is great. The only downside is that transportation is a bit inconvenient, and I never managed to catch the hotel shuttle.

Had to call the front desk to stop but it didn't help. People were laughing loudly and talking loudly in Japanese. Seems like they gathering there for some party. Breakfast was really bad too

there is another good point, the hotel is closed to kaihni makuhari station which has made it perfect for staying to visit Disney Land

I always stay at Spring Hotel for my business trips because it's so close to Makuhari Messe. There's a bus stop right downstairs with direct buses to both Haneda and Narita airports, which is incredibly convenient

The hotel is conveniently located very close to the subway station, just about a 3-minute walk. On the way to the station, you'll find a 7-Eleven and several dining options, with a Jusco supermarket also nearby

Good decent place to have meeting here. The hotel apply the green concept. No water bottle used only recycleable paper cup for water and porcelain cup for hot drinks. Lunch was served in lunch box and it was delish

The hotel is a bit old, room a bit stuffy in winter due to central heating. But other than that service is good and the location is very convenient, good for its price.

There's a subway station about 500 meters away. Overall, the transportation is quite good

The room I booked was for a single. I was surprised by its bed, which holds me like a Simmons, so comfy that I can't help but lie like a baby for an entire morning

One of the best parts is that Mitsui Outlet Park is right in front of the hotel, which is perfect for shopping and dining without needing to go far

The hotel does show some signs of age, particularly with the carpet, but it doesn’t feel musty. One area for improvement would be more thorough cleaning in the corners of the tub and sink

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, and the bathroom was so clean that I felt comfortable using the bathtub (ofuro). They changed the towels and bed sheets every day

crazy good stay, the best stay in my entire 13 day trip, cant believe its this cheap, prob not a lot of travelers in chiba not all staffs in the hotel (and in the local shops) can speak english and you should be prepared to speak japanese around chiba, which i assume is part of the reason why the stay is relatively affordable with amazing quality chiba is a good city too, very nice to walk around...

Very close to Chiba monorail Yoshikawagoen station. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Breakfast was excellent with many varieties. Highly recommend to eat the soft white bread

It's close to Soga station, but it's away from Chiba so can't say it is very good location.

Between the train station and the hotel are a handful of food options, including two 7-11s, which stay open until midnight or later. Overall, we were pleased with our stay

Good but location is not ideal

The staff was friendly but the only problem was the location it was pretty far from the station, but thankfully there was a shuttle bus from the hotel bound for the station.

A long walk from the main railway stations but they do offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from Inagekaigan if you can get there… which I didn’t!! Breakfast ok but completely rammed with other guests before 8am.

Near Chiba station,near Family mart , the staff they are very good communication , good breakfast and soft drink,and at 8pm-4pm there are ochasuke rice meal for visitor

Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with access by room key via the elevator. The selection is quite good and includes European options. The menu changes slightly, so it does not get boring

All rooms are quite clean , except there is some faint smell of body odour from last guest (s) that was not totally removed. Also happened to the other room I booked for my family

Stayed here due to a relatively early morning flight. Was pleasantly surprised that my room had a massage cushion, coupled with a public bath and steam sauna, best last night in Japan.

Two large department stores are across the road, if you've forgotten anything you can buy it there! There's also a mcdonald's close by, and (a bit more of a trek) a 24 hour Ramen restaurant, as well as a curry place and a few others

There's also a vending machine with some drinks (including beer!) and a few small washing machines, best to pick 'strange' hours, if you have a lot of washing

28 sq m room is spacious and comfortable with separate shower and a deep good - sized tub. Good view from my room can see very far. Repeat visit, due to its cleanliness and location

It's about 1km from the station, but it's a short taxi ride away. I think it's a good hotel in this area. I think it's a hotel that can be used for various purposes, not just for solo travelers.

Because this hotel is a little bit far from Goi station, you might take a taxi especially when the weather is not good. Seven-Eleven covenience store is locating near and you can take some food near the hotel

Excellent breakfast of both Eastern and Western food. Helpful and friendly staff. Free noodle service in the evening. Clean and modern. Very much enjoyed my time.

The rooms have TV, free wifi, a hot plate/stovetop, a tea maker, a bathroom with shower, and a shocking amount of closet and cabinet space. There are laundry facilities and an onsen on the premises

We enjoyed the ramen supper every night, it was delicious ! The onsen water is superb, eased my muscle stiffness and I am able to walk better even after return home from Japan

I traveled with my family and stayed at Dormy Inn Soga for 3 nights. It was our first time staying in Soga, Chiba. Soga is 2 train stops from Chiba
