Turn Table Hostel in Tokyo

Very comfortable stay at a modern hostel a short walk from Shibuya Centre. I slept very well - probably because I had the best bunk bed in the dorm - tucked around the corner in front of the window. My dorm mates were mostly quiet and respectful. The toilets and showers just outside in the corridor were very clean as well. Good shower pressure. Very happy with my stay. Would recommend.

The room for one person traveling is pretty good.

good for solo travellers. not social at all, and quiet and lights out hour starts at 11pm. very clean though! and it is around 15 minute walk to shibuya centre / crossing. it is surrounded by convenient stores though. it is also near the area of love hotels and clubs of the shibuya region, but it is not loud at all and it is in a quiet little corner. so if that scene is not your vibe then you can easily ignore it because it is not apparent at all (i only found out there are clubs and love hotels and bars near it because i went on late night walks around the neighbourhood every night and also my friend asked me to go clubbing at this specific club and coincidentally i found out it was minutes away from this hostel, and also long story short we also had to actively look for love hotels near the area because we both were stranded for the night lol). but if it is your scene - it is awfully convenient!

Location not the best unless you don’t mind walking 10-15 mins. Same floor with all dorms - female, male, mixed and toilet is not control by card, anyone can go in. Think about it at midnight bathing to worry a drunker to come in (it’s Shibuya, come on. Famous for drinking)

Many local drinking bars outside the road on the way to hostel. This is good.

Have lift for the rooms but no lift outside so I have to carry my luggage to few stairs to reach reception (after 15 mins walking from Shibuya station green line) omg

I don’t mind to stay again if I only have a backpack.

The hostel is in the perfect location, only a few minutes walk to shibuya station. The hostel provides everything you need, towels, toothbrush + paste, slippers etc. they also give you a coupon so you can get you morning coffee for 50% off. Highly recommended.

very good trip suitable for solo

Possibly the best hostel I’ve stayed in overall. Perfectly clean, quiet and super location. Comfortable beds, nice bar area and always kept at a perfect temperature. They let me in after hours when my flight was late which I really appreciated. Would absolutely stay again. Not suitable for people who want a noisy, communal type hostel, yet the guests were nice, approachable and social while keeping the space civilised.
