Tokyo, Kioicho, 4?1 hoteruniyuotani zamein 11&12Jie , Tiyoda, 102-8578 Tokio, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
It's rare to find a hotel in Tokyo with a Japanese garden; it was beautiful and comfortable! The shower floor tiles were a bit slippery; I suggest replacing them with non-slip tiles, which might be better for the elderly!
Although the space wasn't very large, the room service was excellent. There are many restaurants on-site, and since I was a guest, the front desk made it easy to book dinner
The service was excellent, with six different meals available daily in the executive corridor. You can also enjoy a Japanese sauna 🧖♀️
I recommend their Sky Dinner; the view and experience are fantastic, offering panoramic views of Tokyo's nightscape
While I rarely go to buffets, the food here was quite good, especially the Wagyu beef teppanyaki – it was amazing
The service and food in the lounge were both very good. The gym and spa were also great. I wish the spa was open a little later. Also, part of the key setting part on the security box was peeling off

Tokyo, 4-1, Kioicho, Chiyoda-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
You have a choice of restaurants for breakfast, and the one upstairs offers a fantastic view of Mount Fuji. I'd say the breakfast is quite good by Japanese standards. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent too
The hotel's historic Japanese garden is truly beautiful; I was genuinely amazed when I explored it for the first time, especially considering such a large garden has been preserved right in the middle of a bustling city center! The guest rooms are quite spacious for Japan, around 40 square meters, but I couldn't help but notice that the decor felt surprisingly like an American hotel
Since the Prince Hotel is right across the street, there are plenty of excellent restaurants and dining options nearby, which is a huge plus. Transportation is also incredibly convenient
Moving to major districts like Shinjuku, Ginza, and Shibuya by train/subway is fast and easy. If you are looking for a central base in Tokyo with great food and accessibility, I highly recommend staying here
The hotel's location is great, with several subway lines nearby making travel very convenient. Check-in is on the 5th floor, and there's a lovely garden on the 4th floor
Exceeded all expectations! Beautiful property, spotless accommodations, and outstanding service. Convenient location with easy access to attractions. Worth every penny!

Tokyo, 3-10-8 Iidabashi, Chiyoda-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I stayed at the East Wing Family with my wife and two daughters. It was a spacious 37 square meter room with two beds and two couches. For $140, it was a bargain to stay in a hotel of this class
The room was clean and tidy, equipped with a toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, and even an air purifier. The mattress had just the right amount of firmness
The hotel staff are very polite, friendly and will help you in anyway they can. The hotel is also very near Suidobashi area (5 minutes walk) where you can find lots of local eateries
The location of the hotel is very close to Lidabashi Station. Therefore, travelling across the city by railway is very convenient. The hotel premises and room are very clean
Room was small but clean and well appointed. Downside is that for a tall guy the bed was small and I did have much room to walk either
The only downside is that it's a bit small; if you have large luggage, I'd suggest considering a bigger room type

Staff services and attitude very good.  Regarding the room, Would have be excellent if there was a microwave.
The customer service and commitment to quality always leave an outstanding impression when at the New Otani. And, membership in the New Otani Club just adds to the enjoyment. Staff are attentive and caring
The transportation is very convenient, and there are many convenience stores nearby, making life very easy.
Our stay was excellent! The room was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable, with great amenities. The Shin Edo baths were incredibly relaxing and a perfect way to unwind after a day out
Breakfast was served in a beautiful area overlooking a waterfall and garden - such a peaceful setting. The location was also very convenient, just a short walk from the metro station
Ambiance: Comfortable, with a beautiful 400-year-old garden. Service: No Chinese-speaking staff. Facilities: A bit old-fashioned but very well-maintained.

Great location next to stations. Staff and service are pretty good. They have kept our luggages for 4 days as we went for skiing. Room was pretty clean and good. I would chose to come back here every time I visit Tokyo
I visited this hotel in 1980 , and staying for 4 Nights with my Father. Very pleasant hotel, nice staff. It is an old Hotel now but still worth for staying. Its name was : Akasaka Tokyu Hotel at that time
The customer service was excellent and answered all our inquiries. Also, the Japanese coffee served in the hotel was good. It’s a pity that their business might close this year in August/September
I visited the restaurant here in March 2018 , it is 40 years later, still nice , only the name is now : Akasaka Excell Hotel Tokyu. The restaurant was very nice. Still a very nice Hotel today
Our overall stay was really good! The location was excellent and there were many restaurants nearby the hotel. The room was spacious and clean (especially facing the main road)
Calm hotel. Nice spacious lobby. Room had a nice view. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly.

If the weather is good, you can even see Mount Fuji in the morning. The location is excellent, and the service is top-notch. The front desk staff speak fluent English, and there were many Western guests
Great location, very convenient to the National Stadium, and the surroundings are beautiful. The accommodation itself is quiet and comfortable, and I particularly loved the large balcony in the room.
A beautiful hotel! The rooms are a bit small, but they come with a large balcony offering amazing views. There's also a rooftop observation deck where I enjoyed a spectacular night view of Tokyo
I'll definitely stay here again next time!
I stayed at the Mitsui Garden Hotel specifically for a concert. The National Stadium is right across the street, and I could even see it from my balcony. Once the concert started, I could hear it clearly from my room
The hotel is conveniently located, with a subway station just a left turn outside the entrance

A business hotel close to the subway station. Breakfast on the first floor is delicious. Using sauna of B1 is a good way to relieve fatigue. The room is really small, so it is difficult for 2 people to use it
This is a typical chain business hotel. I usually stay elsewhere in Shinjuku, but it was fully booked. This hotel and my usual one are both about a 10-minute walk from the station
They were very helpful when I needed to store my luggage, and they even gave me directions to my destination, which was a huge help! I'd love to stay here again!
It's a straightforward and convenient walk from Shinjuku Station/Lumine Est. The hotel itself is like any business hotel – everything is typically Japanese: fast, efficient, and tidy
My back hurts because the bed is old. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the subway. Unexpectedly, there are many Western tourists
By the way, I really liked the detailed information available on the TV here; you can browse everything in the background

Overall experience is good although the room is slightly small for 2 persons. About less than 10mins walk to Shinjuku town area. The onsen is amazing with the entire Shinjuku view. Highly recommended.
Traditional Japanese style with ONSEN in Tokyo central area. Fantastic experience to stay for 2 nights. Only complaint is a bit far away from MTR station.
The onsen itself isn’t worth the hype. It’s very small and almost always crowded, so it doesn’t feel relaxing at all. The hotel uses central air per floor, meaning your room temperature depends on what other guests want
Great traditional Japanese hotel with a spa like feel. Everything about this hotel is awesome! They cleaned our room everyday and replenished the towels too
Room was a good size for a Ryokan style hotel and the 18th floor onsen is beautiful with a great view over the city
The room is a bit smaller than my expectation.

Tokyo, Chiyoda-ku Ichiban-cho 23-1, Tiyoda, 102-0082 Tokio, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I also noticed that this hotel and the one I stayed at previously in Kobe both belong to the Japanese Monterey Hotel Group, indicating standardized management. It offers pretty good value for money
Hotel is conveniently located just outside the Hanzomon station. Excellent for runners that like to jog around the Imperial palace in a 5km loop Excellent service; was Greeted with warm welcome bottled drinks
The hotel facilities are excellent, and the service is great. It's super convenient, less than 10 meters from the subway exit. They have everything you could possibly need, so you don't have to bring a thing
The room was okay, but the space around the bed was too cramped, with no separation in the middle, making it feel a bit tight
Location: Excellent! It's right by one of the Hanzomon Line's termini, Exit 5, just 20 meters from the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, it's great to have the subway drop you directly at the entrance
Plus, it's super convenient for getting anywhere. Surroundings: There are three supermarkets – one to the left, one to the right, and one in front of the hotel, all within a three-minute walk

The staffs are friendly and and we had a good view of Tokyo city during our stay!
The room wasn't huge, but it was pretty standard for a Japanese-style room, and we were comfortable in the triple room they assigned us. The location is fantastic – quiet but still central
It's not far from Ginza, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. Within a kilometer, you have access to five subway lines: the Namboku, Marunouchi, Ginza, Hanzomon, and Yurakucho lines, making getting around incredibly convenient
The transportation is convenient, with a bus stop right outside. The service attitude is good, but the areas where the ice machines and beverage cabinets are located on each floor need daily cleaning
The facilities are complete, and there are washing machines on the 17th and 18th floors. The view outside the window is beautiful, but the ice machine has stains, which is unpleasant to look at
Environment: Situated right next to the Imperial Palace, it offers a very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. A FamilyMart convenience store is also conveniently located on the ground floor

The room size was just right, and it was very clean
Front desk is very helpful and kind for luggage storage. Room is clean and tidy.
The staff had me check in using a machine, and then, after pressing a few buttons, it prompted me to pay for the room again at the hotel. but I had already paid in Shanghai! So I had to start over, which wasted time
Very close to the subway, and the airport limousine bus to Shinjuku Kabukicho is also quite convenient. However, Tokyo's prices are really high, so for this price, you can't expect a room with great amenities.
I found a dirty towel in the bathroom (see picture 2), so the hygiene is a bit questionable
In the end, the staff just said 'sorry'. the service definitely needs improvement

I’ve stayed at this hotel a couple times a year for the last 2-3 years. Location is great, rooms are a bit bigger than some I’ve stayed in in Japan, with a little bench in addition to the bed
There are also many drugstores, making it a great place to stay for shopping on the last day. Food sales events are held at the entrance and in the restaurant, which creates a lively atmosphere
The environment and facilities are good, and although the room is a bit small, the city view from the window is quite nice. It's not far from Shinjuku Gyoen, and there's a Muji store nearby
Excellent hotel. Walking distance to the train station and Shinjuku CBD. Clean room and good breakfast.Good size. Worth the price. Will book again for my next trip.
Hygiene: Sheets and bathrobes were changed daily. The breakfast was rich and varied. Great value for money, a good experience overall.

I highly recommend it to everyone
The hotel is very well located, max 10 minutes walk from the Akasaka Metro station. Overall a good choice for families, rooms are big enough for Tokyo standards. Bed is comfortable and rooms are very quiet
If your main purpose is shopping, this location might be a bit too far. However, if you're looking for a relatively less crowded area, it's a good choice
The hotel is not the most modern, hence the 4 stars. Staff is very helpful, speaks English as well as being very attentive, good job! I would consider re-booking here :)
I had a pleasant 4-night stay at this hotel. The lobby has a classic atmosphere, and I really enjoyed the music that played there and in the hallways. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained
Convenient location: 5 minute walk from the Akasaka Mitsuke station and lots of food options on the streets behind the hotel. Beautiful temple across the street as well

The location is super convenient, really close to Shinjuku-sanchome subway station. There's a Lawson just a few steps away, and you'll find Muji, Uniqlo, Isetan, and more nearby, making shopping a breeze
The room decor felt really nice, very new and clean. Plus, the TV had screen mirroring, which was a first for me in Japan! However, it's a bit of a walk from Shinjuku Station, about ten minutes or so.
I can view which washing machine is available from TV. However, the space of the hotel is quite limited. I have three luggages but I only can open 1 in once
The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out – I had no problem opening a large suitcase. The self-service check-in and check-out machines downstairs are a great feature, and the staff also speak English
This hotel aligns with my expectations for a typical Japanese city hotel. The room was small, barely leaving enough space to open a large suitcase, but it was clean and quiet
The hotel is located around a corner off a main road, about a 15-minute walk from Shinjuku Station. Be careful when walking to the entrance as there's no sidewalk

The location of this hotel is nice in terms of taking a subway its kinda central and quick to access anywhere, however do not expect to find any activities or bars in this area
Rooms are small, but that is the standard of Tokyo (one of the most populated cities in the world). Staff was very servicefull and helpful. Definitely would recommend staying here.
Staff was very kind, the room was quaint but that was expected. Also it was very clean and they brought new towels and robes every day. 10 out of 10
Quiet hotel and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. The staff were professional and courteous to every question I had.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!
The air conditioner never turned off, perhaps because it was located in the south-central area
When I checked out, I missed the protective cover of the suitcase. I sent an email to the hotel again. Unexpectedly, the hotel responded to the email very promptly and told me that the things were kept at the front desk
It is very quiet nearby, with several convenience stores and restaurants. The room and bathroom are very clean, equipped with a bathtub and a TOTO electric toilet, and the shower water is very big, very satisfactory
The hotel responded to the email very promptly and told me that they would try their best to arrange it. We checked in at around 9 o'clock in the evening and got two adjacent rooms, which was very considerate

You book this place for convenience as the stations are close. For an APA , these are the smallest rooms ive ever been in. The staff are wonderful abd breakfast is also good
The room was very cozy, and the bed was larger than usual for a Japanese room, which I appreciated
Just to get this out of the way, the hotel rooms are small if you're in a couple (a bit smaller than I expected). If you're solo, this space would be great. The staff here is incredible and the location is amazing
Japanese style hotel. Room is little bit small. Location is very good, close to Akasakamitsuke station. There are many kind of shops, various kinds of food restaurants, convenient stores, pachinkos, etc.
Great looking location, conveniently near a station, restaurants and stores for your every single need! Right downtown, so it's never more than 20-30mins to a tourist hotspot, and has free WiFi
It was nice leaving the craziness of Shinjuku and return to Asakasa. Pros - great area, amazing staff, proximity to metro. Cons - small rooms (you get what you pay for)

It’s was a good location close to lost of convenience stores, Starbucks other coffee shops and eating places and shopping places. The stations were close by about five to six minutes walking so getting around was easy
It was clean and they replaced towels everyday if you’re saying multiple nights (which I did). Another thing if you’re planning to stay be sure to have your day planned out starting early
Super clean, though I guess that's a common characteristic of Japanese hotels. Very quiet with great soundproofing. There's only one elevator and no stairs, so you often have to wait a while
The location though surrounded by bars which was one of my concerns during the night one of the cons of staying due to being a solo female traveler
But despite that it was street were well lit so it wasn’t too horrible walking back to the hotel. But I would still be mindful about the hours as I’m not someone who stays out late into the night
But the convenience stores are close by so you can pop out to get something to eat and come back or head to the parks that are near by. But overall my stay was fine the location was good for me and it was affordable too
