I liked that each capsule had a curtain that could be pulled down and that there were sauna facilities. It would have been great if I could have rented a charger.
Overall, it's a great place and I would recommend it. Pros: 1. It's very close to the subway station, just a two to three-minute walk, which is super convenient if you have a lot of luggage. 2. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly, and they speak English. 3. Fresh towels, toothbrushes, and other toiletries are provided daily. 4. The male and female dorms and shower areas are...
A decent capsule hotel with everything you need, compactly arranged.
The pod for sleeping is cozy for 1 night or 2 max because it’s tiny but it does the work ! The sauna and showers are very nice! There’s the temperature for each shower and great explanation of what to do on the wall. Overall i enjoyed my short stay !
The beds are decent, and there's a fan above each bed. They provide fresh toiletries daily. The only slight inconvenience is that even if you're staying multiple nights, you have to fully check out by 11 AM each day. You can store your luggage in the storage room on each floor, but it's a bit small, so you can't open your suitcase there. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory.
The capsule look a bit old but the toilet is very clean. There are private showers, open showers, and a sauna which is fantastic. However, there’s no lift from the ground level to the lobby, so you’ll need to use the stairs. But from the lobby to the dormitory, there is a lift available. The location is great, close to Uniqlo and the metro station. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Tokyo, Shinjuku 4-2-10, Sindzyuku, 160-0022 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay. I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint. The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone. The location was shockingly convenient as well...
The 3rd floor lounge close on 3am, many people come back from club unable to rest
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was pretty good. However, I'm a light sleeper, so predictably, I didn't get a good night's rest. Still, it's probably the most convenient option given its proximity to the station. Plus, the curry was quite good!
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku. They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier. The bathroom was also great, almost...
Its goood everything is already there i would definitely stay there again. a lot of free stuff as well
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars. The onsen is great, although it could do with a cold plunge to make the experience even better!

Tokyo, 1-chome-25-10 Hamamatsucho, Minato, 105-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, 5 min walk to Daiman station , easy access to both narita or henada airport.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's a quick 10-minute monorail ride from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho, and then about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Plus, Daimon subway station is nearby. I really liked the complete segregation of men and women, with separate access routes. The top floor lounge and rooftop offer great views of Tokyo Tower. However, the hygiene was quite poor. The bedsheets were...
The hotel's location is excellent, and you can see Tokyo Tower from the spacious lobby.
Location was ideal! Much of the famous sights were nearby and I could easily walk there! Train station is just round rhe corner so it was easy hopping onto trains to nearby towns! Room was clean, comfortable and amenities tip top!
It felt like I was sleeping in a space capsule, yet only a few hundred meters from the ground. Late at night, looking through the public area's floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the Eiffel Tower's shimmering lights pass over the sleeping capsules, there was a cyberpunk sense of solitude. There's no privacy here, only the most precise routine for sleeping and showering. It's perfect for those who need...
Very good. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Haneda Airport. If you have a lot of luggage, you'll need to leave it outside the room, but Japan is generally safe, so you can feel at ease. The cleanliness was also very good, and the pillows were quite large. It was quiet at night.

Tokyo, 4-chome-3-14 Akasaka, Minato, 107-0052 Tokio, Yaponiya (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
In all it was nice, but the lockers were extremely small, the lounge area did not have a microwave or hot water and the water had a weird smell in the showers. The beds were good and it was very quiet in the sleeping room.
The environment is great and they provide pajamas and towels. It's very quiet at night. However, there are only USB ports by the bed, no Type-C, so you have to go to the first floor to charge your device.
Like 9-hour capsule hotels in other cities, this one is great, although the common area is a bit small. The capsule itself is very quiet, perfect for sleeping. The location is excellent, with plenty of amenities and food options nearby.
The facility was great in general. Except you cant stay over the day its just for sleeping, showering and then you can leave it ln daytime, leave your stuff, as they clean and restrict the sleeping area. Otherwise it was kind of an all inclusive experience and did have a clean and nice washroom, as well as all round service. But it was a bit loud in the morning, the cleaning stuff rummages around exactly...
My stay there was pleasant. The only downside was that the locker area was a bit small, so not so suitable fir people with big luggage
It’s great for those looking to save money. The place is very organized and provides everything you need, pijamas, towels, toiletries and slippers. It can be a bit inconvenient if you have a large suitcase, as it has to be left at the reception because it doesn’t fit in the locker. But for a short stay, I highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from the west exit of Suidobashi subway station. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and a delicious soba noodle place too! 😋 The environment is great, but it's a bit inconvenient that the capsule only has USB charging.
Extremely close to Tokyo Dome, clean, quiet, and less than 100m from Suidobashi subway station.
Great environment. It's located downtown, with shrines and parks nearby, making it convenient for getting around.
The free space is great, and the location is convenient. The sleep report is very detailed. The only issue is that the number of power outlets is quite limited, so I couldn’t charge my phone at night. (There is a USB port, but there is no Type-C port)
Just arrived in Tokyo and needed a temporary place to stay. If you have a lot of luggage, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway station, and the path isn't the easiest. The 'ladies only' floor and lockers require a room key to access, which made me feel very secure. The locker was just big enough to fit my 28-inch suitcase! 👍🏽 The rooms are cleaned daily at 11 AM, and sheets are changed. Everyone...
What a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it for solo travelers. 1. The bathrooms are well-designed with space for clothes and towels, and you don't even need to bring your own toiletries. 2. The personal lockers with key-pad locks felt very secure (perfectly sized for my carry-on). 3. The common lounge area is super comfortable and great for getting some work done. 4. Tokyo, hoteruniyugurin, 1F, 5 Chome-15-1 Ueno, Tayto, 110-0005 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I needed an affordable hotel for one night, and this place is perfect for that. It’s very compact, as you’d expect from a Japanese hotel, but it actually has everything you need. It’s probably not the best choice for longer stays, but it’s nice and affordable.
It's a little far from Okachimachi Station, but within walking distance. The room is a typical business hotel. I was a little worried because the price was low, but I had no complaints. There's a large local supermarket just a short walk away. It's good value for money, so I'd definitely stay here again.
There are vending machines and public telephones in the lobby. There are two elevators. Room wear is available in sizes M and L. Check-out is done by machine. It is a short walk from Naka-Okachimachi Station.
Located 600 meters from Akihabara's anime district, the hotel has a tram stop and JR station downstairs, and a convenience store 100 meters away. The hotel is somewhat old, but clean and hygienic, and the room size is moderate for Tokyo.
The hotel is close to Okachimachi Station, so it's convenient for anything you want to do. Above all, the room rate is not too high. With hotel prices rising these days, this hotel is around 10,000 yen. With that in mind, there are many restaurants in the area, and the location is convenient enough to catch the first bullet train or plane in the morning, so I felt it was a very convenient hotel. Had an amazing time in Tokyo. R&B Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to the train station (a two minute walk) with lots of shops and restaurants around. A 7-11 is right across the street as well. Connected to the hotel is a Royal Host which I had a nice breakfast at. The hotel has 12 floors. The second floor is the lobby which has an assortment of amenities (washcloth, razor, q-tips, etc) to...
Loved this hotel so much. Convenient spot with a Don Quijote, McDonalds & a seven eleven all opposite it. Nice staff and the most peaceful train station sleep sounds. The pajamas were nice too :)
Love this hotel esp with the selection of amenities near the lobby. U got what you need. Very near to otsuka station. I always love and choose this neighborhood. Room wise, i believe it's Japan's standard. But it's comfortable and clean.
Not a bad room, although a bit small. In the bathroom, there is space for both a shower and bath. The breakfast buffet is ok, but there is no change to the menu, and there is no miso soup. Otherwise, location is good, right next to JR Ōtsuka Station on the Yamanote Line.
had a hard time finding this one some time in Aug 2019, but it's conveniently located near the restaurants, starbucks, and grocery stores. The staff are helpful.
Great place to stay ! Lots of good food offerings around ! Very friendly English speaking staff, n they have a guided tour which should not be missed ..

My stay was good. The location though surrounded by bars which was one of my concerns during the night one of the cons of staying due to being a solo female traveler. But despite that it was street were well lit so it wasn’t too horrible walking back to the hotel. But I would still be mindful about the hours as I’m not someone who stays out late into the night. It’s was a good location close to lost...
Terrible night. Guests arriving at all hours of the night still wearing their sneakers, flip flops and high heals into the capsule room rolling their luggage. The flooring is polished concrete so there is no noise absorption. There is no noise policy and even if there was, this being an unmaned facility there would be no one to enforce it. Strong fluorescent lighting stays turned on all night at the...
Centrally located, convenient, and clean. The sleep pods can be stuffy at night, but if you’re familiar with capsule hotels you would be familiar with this experience.
Location is a little far from the nearest station, so it requires a bit more walking compared to some other hotels in Shinjuku. One thing to note is that this place may not be ideal for light sleepers. Because it is a capsule hotel, you can easily hear noises from other guests moving around, opening lockers, or packing their belongings. I personally had some difficulty sleeping due to the noise. ...
I love everything about this capsule! the entire facility was clean! and well taken care off. I stayed here for one night so only had a backpack for a 2-day 1 night trip, the locker can fit my bag perfectly. The shower rooms were clean. The have like a changing space as well in front of the shower so that mean you dont have to change in front of the lockers for everyone to see. The capsules were futuristic...
This was the first hotel I stayed at in Japan, and it really embraced Japanese style! Pros: 1. Excellent location near Shinjuku, making transportation super convenient. There are also several convenience stores nearby. 2. Super clean, though I guess that's a common characteristic of Japanese hotels. 3. Very quiet with great soundproofing. Cons: 1. There's only one elevator and no stairs, so you often...

The facilities were minimal and clean.
The location was great and the staff was very polite.
Overall, it's very good and clean, except the storage space is a bit small.
It's right next to Kanda Station, and being a women-only facility gives you a sense of security. Depending on the time of day, the lockers can get crowded and full of people unpacking their suitcases. The capsule is spacious, so I was able to sleep soundly.
the locker is on first floor ree so we have to up n down to get our things, they don't provide you a toothbrush if u don't ask for it, when you leave your luggage you even can't use the toilet even you have reservations there
I just wanted to experience the capsule room. It felt quite spacious. The hotel provided earplugs but I didn't use them. Maybe I was tired after walking all day and didn't hear any sound. However, the price was a bit high. If two people were together, it would be more convenient and private to find an ordinary hotel.

The service is great. I came here four times and I've changed my rooms twice, it's because I have sleeping problems, so if the room faces the road it will be a little noisy for me even in the 6th floor. But the hotel is really willing to help me change my room once I request. That impresses me a lot. And the location is really convenient.
Famous hotel nowadays, small room size but comfortable. We choose the hotel just between Ueno &Akihabara. Ten minutes walking to Subway station.Easy way to Ginza.Pillow was too low but toilet was well facilitated. Cons : no air conditioning in winter. The control was difficult to set down the Rm. temperature.U can order hotel breakfast, but we usually tried all the cafe that closed to the hotel 🏨. There...
Rooms-wise it's perfectly acceptable for a Japanese Hotel. And it's location is perfect. The problem we had was with breakfast - there's a gluten free speciality restaurant that I love to see become more common in Japan, even if I don't need it. However it's got the dining space for about 12 people, they cram in 24 and the entire 12 floor hotel is supposed to have breakfast here between 6am-9am. So...
My usual APA hotel closer to Ueno station was not available but I like this chain because I know what the room is like and they are always clean and quiet. Between two metro stations on the Ginza line for Shibuya and Asakusa. An easy walk from Keisei from Narita but if you have suitcases then probably a four minute taxi ride. Lots of food options and easily walkable to Ueno. No laundry onsite but a...

Great hotel with friendly staff and just outside Toyocho station. Amenities were available at the reception. I was here for two nights for work and had a great experience. The staff kept my luggage for a few hours after check out, which was really helpful since I had to finish some work before leaving.
Very close to the metro station. Looks reasonable price hotel which able to reach downtown Tokyo around 15 minutes. You know, rooms of business hotels in Japan are very small, like a cubicle-separated.
Not bad but everything depends on the budget. I recommend it only in case of low budget. The location is good and the train station is just adjacent to this hotel. Good experience.
Clean and quiet hotel. Convenient area with convenient store, pharmacy, a number of simple restaurants around. Super near to the metro around 2mins walking distance.
The staff here are brilliant. Professional and extremely courteous. They looked after me very well for the 3 weeks that I was here in Japan. Thanks to all the staff there.
I thought it was a small but beautiful room, but there was a sticker on the table to stop the lid of ○ Qing's cup noodles lol (I peeled it off and threw it away) The room is dark, so you may not have noticed it when cleaning. Also, the breakfast was delicious! I was full! I think this room was still there, so I'll stay there if I have another chance.

There's even a Daiso nearby, which was really handy for picking up anything I needed. It was perfect.
The rooms were a bit small but it was clean and very comfortable.
🚫There were some areas in the room that hadn't been cleaned, and I was bothered by the dust in various places! There was dust around the outlet on the desk where the TV is, dust on the hangers, and the shelf where towels are kept in the bathroom - as I'm tall, there was a lot of dust that was noticeable. The price is relatively cheap, you're right in front of a convenience store, you don't really get amenities but you can buy for cheap... it's more of a party hostel...not a quiet one
This my first hostel experience, and it was a good one. The shared dorm was tiny but fine. Capsule had enough space for my carry on luggage plus backpack and some hangers to help with organization. Hotel staff are awesome from the front desk to the bartender. Great area being in Shinjuku. Would recommend!
The location is very good. Godzilla, the Golden Gai, the Cat and Donki is just 10-15 mins away. The Mario Kart is also 2 blocks away. The people (guests) are mainly foreigners. The staff and service and their breakfast is very good.
The atmosphere is really nice and quite when you share the common space with others, and lots of activities for socializing.
It was a great experience! I was told that this would be a self-service check-in, but there were staff helping with the check-in process. Process was smooth and quick, and the staff is friendly. The facilities, beddings, towel were very clean. Shared bathroom was also clean with stable hot shower. I feel safe and comfortable during the stay and highly recommend for solo/ budget travellers.
Generally clean hostel. 2xBunkbed women’s room was super small but handy it you don’t want to share with strangers. Communal showers and toilets were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 10/10; well balanced, healthy, FREE! Don’t recommend their laundry facilities; you will never get your clothes clean/dry. Go to the many laundromats very close by. Good first experience in a hostel. Would come back

Room type only for Female. Feeling comfortable and safe at the Hotel.
Great value for a low-cost budget hotel. Near Train station & convenience stores. If you're going to watch in Ariake Stadium, this is the place for you. 15-20mins walking distance. 2 stations away from Tokyo Disneyland. Near Haneda Airport through Rinkai Line. But too far.... so far from Narita Airport
Well, this hotel has a greatest social space where you can work or chill. They have activities as well such as takoyaki party or gaming activity. It was reallly good. Bathroom facilities are spacious and clean. The complaint I can make - the ladies in the sleeping room totally dont know how to be silent at night, they were incredibly noisy even through earplugs. I couldnt sleep.
Knew that the place was small so the lugguges have to be placed at their lobby! Had to have everything needed to be taken out & carried to the room instead~ Was actually out for the whole day so it was of much a issue. I actually love that there is a 24 hour noodles shop nearby & the noodles is really good~ Will stay here again for next solo trip if it's near my event venue!

Helpful staff and clean facilities. Very good for solo travellers. Good location
Great capsule hotel located very close to Akihabara Station. Felt really safe and comfortable, the amenities were wonderful and I felt relaxed and refreshed every day. Beds were comfy and everyone was respectful of each other. Second time staying here and definitely would stay again if I'm in the area!
Overall nice, but cleaned only once a day, so especially the showers get nasty. Also, even though you have to take shoes off, the carpets are dirty. Location is super convenient. The beds are a bit short if you are tall, but the space is enough.
I think this is a great hotel for the price point. I had a carry-on suitcase with me that fit just fine in the lockers provided (though some guests with larger checked bags had to store them in the hallway). Everyone was considerate and quiet, and I appreciated that the doors open and close very quietly. Great location near the station and very close to wherever you would like to explore in Tokyo. We’ll definitely be staying...
We had really good time here. Very good breakfast, relaxing onsen, possibility to select pillows, evening welcome drink, very nice and helpfull people working there, good location just few minutes from the station especially good that there was yamanashi line. We also like changing towels everyday and providing water to the room. Rooms are very small but we got used to it, they are also very quiet...
Great japanese breakfast, friendly staff, room service options
location is not too bad, 10 minutes walk from station (using underground pass-way exit C6/with escalator or C1/only steps) however more shopping and animation stores are on the east side, if that’s what ur interested in. hotel itself is quite self-serve ish but clean and convenient enough for the price we be paid

Interesting check-in process, really liked it!
Very good location , the room is small but has everything needed. The receptionists are robots but humans are there if needed. Good facilities , gym, storage lockers, laundry.. breakfast is at a nearby pub, not typically Japanese though.
Great experience, very clean, very close to metro stations.
The location is very convenient.
As in most hotels in Japan, cleanliness is always of a high standard everywhere. Even in low-end hotels like this one. There are two robots at the reception desk, which are more of a novelty and originality feature. Despite the fact that there is a terminal for registration and document scanning, an employee always comes to check everything and help you fill out the forms. Rooms are assigned randomly...
