Tokyo, 1 Chome-25-10 Hamamatsucho, Minato Ward (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Great location, but the sleeping pods, washrooms, and luggage storage are all on different floors, which is really inconvenient. I was constantly waiting for the elevator. It's not suitable for people with a lot of luggage or large suitcases. The storage space is very small, and there's almost no storage inside the bed itself. I think the staff should emphasize the rule about not bringing suitcases...
Close to JR train station. A few convenience stores nearby and Yakiniku like nearby as well. Room is generally clean. But some washroom slightly worn down
Everything is excellent, very clean, very cozy, very well-maintained. You can have a spectacular Tokyo's view on the rooftop.
Location is convenient as well, you have quick access to every popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo.
Staff is professional and super friendly. One staff whose name is Nicole, she is a fantastic staff, very quick-response, very friendly, very gentle, also, she always wears a big...
Facilities: The overall facilities are quite comprehensive and very new. The capsule rooms are also relatively new and spacious.
Hygiene: The hygiene is also good.
Environment: The functional areas on each floor are very clearly divided.
Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and patiently answered questions.
(The shower area is large, there are many public restrooms, and you can see Tokyo Tower...
The luggage storage area is too small and narrow. It's really inconvenient if you have a suitcase or large luggage. Everything else was fine. The bed wasn't too narrow and was quite comfortable for sleeping, but the bed curtain was a bit old and tattered, which was a minor issue.
The location is great—very close to the train station. The view is also nice, and there’s a convenience store near the hotel with plenty of places to eat around the area.
However, I won’t be coming back to this hotel again for a few reasons:
1. There’s no laundry area.
2. There’s no water refill dispenser for guests.
3. My room was on the 4th floor, but the hair dryer noise from the 2nd floor was...

It’s great for those looking to save money. The place is very organized and provides everything you need, pijamas, towels, toiletries and slippers. It can be a bit inconvenient if you have a large suitcase, as it has to be left at the reception because it doesn’t fit in the locker. But for a short stay, I highly recommend it.
Well located near a train station, with a famous fox temple nearby and good local food..
checkin and checkout process was easy and seamless..
beds were clean and comfortable, with free ear plugs provided
toilets were closed for cleaning from 10am to 4pm.. this seems like the standard for most hostels/ capsule places..
they had a small foyer for regular folks but its not too big and sometimes crowded
Nice experience!Overall I recommend it for solo travellers. The location is central and it is close to metro stations.
Also, the bedsheets are changed everyday, you get clean pyjama and towels everyday.
One thing that was annoying is the size of the lockes, it is very small and little bit inconvenient with the card sistem.
Also keep in mind that you have to be out of the hotel during the certain...
Everything was good overall, but late arrivals and walking noise, plus snoring, were disruptive. Suitable for a 1-2 day stay.
the shower stinks and there is no space to fan hair or make up in the morning - it is overcrowded. No space for eating or working - they have, but so small and uncomfortable!
Excellence. First time I try a capsule hotel and it was a great experience. I slept like a baby in my pod.
The hotel is very clean. Japanese standards of cleanlines.
I want to repeat my experience at this hotel.

I liked that each capsule had a curtain that could be pulled down and that there were sauna facilities. It would have been great if I could have rented a charger.
Overall, it's a great place and I would recommend it.
Pros:
1. It's very close to the subway station, just a two to three-minute walk, which is super convenient if you have a lot of luggage.
2. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly, and they speak English.
3. Fresh towels, toothbrushes, and other toiletries are provided daily.
4. The male and female dorms and shower areas are...
A decent capsule hotel with everything you need, compactly arranged.
The pod for sleeping is cozy for 1 night or 2 max because it’s tiny but it does the work ! The sauna and showers are very nice! There’s the temperature for each shower and great explanation of what to do on the wall. Overall i enjoyed my short stay !
The beds are decent, and there's a fan above each bed. They provide fresh toiletries daily. The only slight inconvenience is that even if you're staying multiple nights, you have to fully check out by 11 AM each day. You can store your luggage in the storage room on each floor, but it's a bit small, so you can't open your suitcase there. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory.
The capsule look a bit old but the toilet is very clean. There are private showers, open showers, and a sauna which is fantastic. However, there’s no lift from the ground level to the lobby, so you’ll need to use the stairs. But from the lobby to the dormitory, there is a lift available. The location is great, close to Uniqlo and the metro station. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Tokyo, 3 Chome-10-1 Misakicho, Chiyoda Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Extremely close to Tokyo Dome, clean, quiet, and less than 100m from Suidobashi subway station.
Great environment. It's located downtown, with shrines and parks nearby, making it convenient for getting around.
The free space is great, and the location is convenient. The sleep report is very detailed.
The only issue is that the number of power outlets is quite limited, so I couldn’t charge my phone at night. (There is a USB port, but there is no Type-C port)
Just arrived in Tokyo and needed a temporary place to stay. If you have a lot of luggage, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway station, and the path isn't the easiest. The 'ladies only' floor and lockers require a room key to access, which made me feel very secure. The locker was just big enough to fit my 28-inch suitcase! 👍🏽 The rooms are cleaned daily at 11 AM, and sheets are changed. Everyone...
What a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it for solo travelers.
1. The bathrooms are well-designed with space for clothes and towels, and you don't even need to bring your own toiletries.
2. The personal lockers with key-pad locks felt very secure (perfectly sized for my carry-on).
3. The common lounge area is super comfortable and great for getting some work done.
4. The high-tech sleeping...

Tokyo, Shinjuku 4-2-10, Shinjuku Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay.
I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint. The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone. The location was shockingly convenient as well...
The 3rd floor lounge close on 3am, many people come back from club unable to rest
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was pretty good. However, I'm a light sleeper, so predictably, I didn't get a good night's rest. Still, it's probably the most convenient option given its proximity to the station. Plus, the curry was quite good!
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku. They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier. The bathroom was also great, almost...
Its goood everything is already there i would definitely stay there again. a lot of free stuff as well
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars. The onsen is great, although it could do with a cold plunge to make the experience even better!

Tokyo, ホテルニューグリーン, 1F, 5 Chome-15-1 Ueno, Taito Ward (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
It's a little far from Okachimachi Station, but within walking distance. The room is a typical business hotel. I was a little worried because the price was low, but I had no complaints. There's a large local supermarket just a short walk away. It's good value for money, so I'd definitely stay here again.
There are vending machines and public telephones in the lobby. There are two elevators. Room wear is available in sizes M and L. Check-out is done by machine. It is a short walk from Naka-Okachimachi Station.
Located 600 meters from Akihabara's anime district, the hotel has a tram stop and JR station downstairs, and a convenience store 100 meters away. The hotel is somewhat old, but clean and hygienic, and the room size is moderate for Tokyo.
The hotel is close to Okachimachi Station, so it's convenient for anything you want to do. Above all, the room rate is not too high. With hotel prices rising these days, this hotel is around 10,000 yen. With that in mind, there are many restaurants in the area, and the location is convenient enough to catch the first bullet train or plane in the morning, so I felt it was a very convenient hotel. Great place to stay ! Lots of good food offerings around ! Very friendly English speaking staff, n they have a guided tour which should not be missed ..

It was a great experience! I was told that this would be a self-service check-in, but there were staff helping with the check-in process. Process was smooth and quick, and the staff is friendly. The facilities, beddings, towel were very clean. Shared bathroom was also clean with stable hot shower. I feel safe and comfortable during the stay and highly recommend for solo/ budget travellers.
Generally clean hostel. 2xBunkbed women’s room was super small but handy it you don’t want to share with strangers. Communal showers and toilets were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 10/10; well balanced, healthy, FREE! Don’t recommend their laundry facilities; you will never get your clothes clean/dry. Go to the many laundromats very close by. Good first experience in a hostel. Would come back
Absolutely loved UNPLAN Shinjuku. Amazing location for a first time visitor and super comfortable stay. Slept like a log each day. Good breakfast, all facilities, heated toilets, super warm room (I visited in winter) and international diverse staff.
The only downside is that it's about 1km from Shinjuku Station (though there's a closer metro station, I didn't seem to use it much). Everything else is a plus! It's great value for money, the breakfast isn't skimpy, there are plenty of common areas, the kitchen facilities are sufficient, the social atmosphere is good without being too wild, and you can even watch movies.
The location is super convenient, and Shinjuku is a very lively area. The hostel offers free breakfast, and there are plenty of showers and toilets, so you don't have to wait long. The dorm was pretty quiet, and I slept quite well at night.
I just saw this on social media and booked it right away. My trip to Japan was unplanned, so it really resonated with me haha. The hotel staff were very accommodating. Location-wise, it’s near Shinjuku Station. I was also able to make friends with other guests because of their 6 PM free beer. Overall, my stay was an 8/10.

Great value stay within a short walk fro the JR station. I stayed here for 4 nights. Walkable from Shinjukub as well. The place is clean and regularly maintained by staff throughout the day. Facilities are top notch for a capsule accomodation. Staff are polite, friendly and make you feel welcomed. It can get a little noisy at times late night and early morning, but its a capsule hotel, so that is expected...
Good hotel. Near the Shin-Okubo station,I like this hotel. The capsules are very comfortable, clean, and tidy. They provide change of clothes and accessories. There is a cafe with delicious coffee, and you can buy snacks at the reception.
Clean and got loads of shampoo to choose from. Not very very quiet but with this price highly recommended already!
It is very clean and the location is near the train station, only 300m. Many restaurants nearby! Everyone have the pijama and 1 flipflop and a locket key and a keycard. Sometimes it’s quite noisy because I choose the capsule, in a big room worh others
Very centrally located, and easy to find. The capsule also has a screen that comes down to give privacy and a little more quiet. They have lots of extra amenities (pajamas, cleanser, toner, toothbrushes etc)which was great. The service was quite quick but also it was just checking you in and then moving on. Excellent value for money, and conveniently located.

I didn't expect such an inexpensive property to be so clean, modern, and have excellent service!
Upon check-in, the front desk agents spoke enough English to help us smoothly check in. Once we went to our room, we were blown away by how simple, but practical it was. The room is value for money, clean and comfortable but is too small to add an additional bed for the 2-person room. The WiFi is reliable throughout the hotel. Staff are very courteous, helpful and polite. Breakfast buffet is served. Great spread! It is located close to the Metro station.

Great stay for family. Traditional room with 6 tatami. Including kitchen and private toilet. Smart TV with wifi. Near to Shin-Okubo Station. Near to halal food and groceries. I've stayed here several times now, and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The front desk lady speaks Chinese and has a great attitude.
I came to Japan alone for a concert at Tokyo Dome, and this hotel was perfectly located. There's a FamilyMart right next door, and the station is just a 5-minute walk away, with direct access to Haneda Airport. The room had a mini-fridge and was cleaned daily. It was quiet at night, which made me feel very safe traveling solo!
I stayed here for one night, and overall it was pretty good. It's very close to Higashi-Nihombashi Station on the Asakusa Line, which offers direct trains to both Narita and Haneda airports, making it super convenient. It's also near JR Bakurocho Station and the Shinjuku Line. The only minor drawback is that the room is quite small. It's perfectly fine for stays of two nights or less, but any longer...
A regular Tokyo hotel I would say based on size and room amenities, except that its very close to a metro station that is on the same line as the keisei express to the airport.
