Tokyo, 1-8-1 Ebisu, Sibuya, 150-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I liked that each capsule had a curtain that could be pulled down and that there were sauna facilities. It would have been great if I could have rented a charger.
Overall, it's a great place and I would recommend it.
Pros:
1. It's very close to the subway station, just a two to three-minute walk, which is super convenient if you have a lot of luggage.
2. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly, and they speak English.
3. Fresh towels, toothbrushes, and other toiletries are provided daily.
4. The male and female dorms and shower areas are...
A decent capsule hotel with everything you need, compactly arranged.
The pod for sleeping is cozy for 1 night or 2 max because it’s tiny but it does the work ! The sauna and showers are very nice! There’s the temperature for each shower and great explanation of what to do on the wall. Overall i enjoyed my short stay !
The beds are decent, and there's a fan above each bed. They provide fresh toiletries daily. The only slight inconvenience is that even if you're staying multiple nights, you have to fully check out by 11 AM each day. You can store your luggage in the storage room on each floor, but it's a bit small, so you can't open your suitcase there. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory.
The capsule look a bit old but the toilet is very clean. There are private showers, open showers, and a sauna which is fantastic. However, there’s no lift from the ground level to the lobby, so you’ll need to use the stairs. But from the lobby to the dormitory, there is a lift available. The location is great, close to Uniqlo and the metro station. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay.
I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint. The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone. The location was shockingly convenient as well...
The 3rd floor lounge close on 3am, many people come back from club unable to rest
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was pretty good. However, I'm a light sleeper, so predictably, I didn't get a good night's rest. Still, it's probably the most convenient option given its proximity to the station. Plus, the curry was quite good!
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku. They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier. The bathroom was also great, almost...
Its goood everything is already there i would definitely stay there again. a lot of free stuff as well
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars. The onsen is great, although it could do with a cold plunge to make the experience even better!

Tokyo, hoteruniyugurin, 1F, 5 Chome-15-1 Ueno, Tayto, 110-0005 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I needed an affordable hotel for one night, and this place is perfect for that. It’s very compact, as you’d expect from a Japanese hotel, but it actually has everything you need. It’s probably not the best choice for longer stays, but it’s nice and affordable.
It's a little far from Okachimachi Station, but within walking distance. The room is a typical business hotel. I was a little worried because the price was low, but I had no complaints. There's a large local supermarket just a short walk away. It's good value for money, so I'd definitely stay here again.
There are vending machines and public telephones in the lobby. There are two elevators. Room wear is available in sizes M and L. Check-out is done by machine. It is a short walk from Naka-Okachimachi Station.
Located 600 meters from Akihabara's anime district, the hotel has a tram stop and JR station downstairs, and a convenience store 100 meters away. The hotel is somewhat old, but clean and hygienic, and the room size is moderate for Tokyo.
The hotel is close to Okachimachi Station, so it's convenient for anything you want to do. Above all, the room rate is not too high. With hotel prices rising these days, this hotel is around 10,000 yen. With that in mind, there are many restaurants in the area, and the location is convenient enough to catch the first bullet train or plane in the morning, so I felt it was a very convenient hotel. Even...

Had an amazing time in Tokyo. R&B Hotel is in a great location. It’s close to the train station (a two minute walk) with lots of shops and restaurants around. A 7-11 is right across the street as well. Connected to the hotel is a Royal Host which I had a nice breakfast at.
The hotel has 12 floors. The second floor is the lobby which has an assortment of amenities (washcloth, razor, q-tips, etc) to...
Loved this hotel so much. Convenient spot with a Don Quijote, McDonalds & a seven eleven all opposite it. Nice staff and the most peaceful train station sleep sounds. The pajamas were nice too :)
Love this hotel esp with the selection of amenities near the lobby. U got what you need. Very near to otsuka station. I always love and choose this neighborhood. Room wise, i believe it's Japan's standard. But it's comfortable and clean.
Not a bad room, although a bit small. In the bathroom, there is space for both a shower and bath. The breakfast buffet is ok, but there is no change to the menu, and there is no miso soup. Otherwise, location is good, right next to JR Ōtsuka Station on the Yamanote Line.
had a hard time finding this one some time in Aug 2019, but it's conveniently located near the restaurants, starbucks, and grocery stores. The staff are helpful.
Great place to stay ! Lots of good food offerings around ! Very friendly English speaking staff, n they have a guided tour which should not be missed ..

The facilities were minimal and clean.
The location was great and the staff was very polite.
Overall, it's very good and clean, except the storage space is a bit small.
It's right next to Kanda Station, and being a women-only facility gives you a sense of security. Depending on the time of day, the lockers can get crowded and full of people unpacking their suitcases.
The capsule is spacious, so I was able to sleep soundly.
the locker is on first floor ree so we have to up n down to get our things, they don't provide you a toothbrush if u don't ask for it, when you leave your luggage you even can't use the toilet even you have reservations there
I just wanted to experience the capsule room. It felt quite spacious. The hotel provided earplugs but I didn't use them. Maybe I was tired after walking all day and didn't hear any sound. However, the price was a bit high. If two people were together, it would be more convenient and private to find an ordinary hotel.

The service is great. I came here four times and I've changed my rooms twice, it's because I have sleeping problems, so if the room faces the road it will be a little noisy for me even in the 6th floor. But the hotel is really willing to help me change my room once I request. That impresses me a lot.
And the location is really convenient.
Famous hotel nowadays, small room size but comfortable. We choose the hotel just between Ueno &Akihabara. Ten minutes walking to Subway station.Easy way to Ginza.Pillow was too low but toilet was well facilitated. Cons : no air conditioning in winter. The control was difficult to set down the Rm. temperature.U can order hotel breakfast, but we usually tried all the cafe that closed to the hotel 🏨. There...
Rooms-wise it's perfectly acceptable for a Japanese Hotel. And it's location is perfect. The problem we had was with breakfast - there's a gluten free speciality restaurant that I love to see become more common in Japan, even if I don't need it. However it's got the dining space for about 12 people, they cram in 24 and the entire 12 floor hotel is supposed to have breakfast here between 6am-9am. So...
My usual APA hotel closer to Ueno station was not available but I like this chain because I know what the room is like and they are always clean and quiet. Between two metro stations on the Ginza line for Shibuya and Asakusa. An easy walk from Keisei from Narita but if you have suitcases then probably a four minute taxi ride. Lots of food options and easily walkable to Ueno. No laundry onsite but a...
APA never fails, good quality with a fair price
There is a multi-storey car park right behind it, which is convenient.

Great location, 5 min walk to Daiman station , easy access to both narita or henada airport.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's a quick 10-minute monorail ride from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho, and then about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Plus, Daimon subway station is nearby.
I really liked the complete segregation of men and women, with separate access routes. The top floor lounge and rooftop offer great views of Tokyo Tower.
However, the hygiene was quite poor. The bedsheets were...
The hotel's location is excellent, and you can see Tokyo Tower from the spacious lobby.
Location was ideal! Much of the famous sights were nearby and I could easily walk there! Train station is just round rhe corner so it was easy hopping onto trains to nearby towns! Room was clean, comfortable and amenities tip top!
It felt like I was sleeping in a space capsule, yet only a few hundred meters from the ground. Late at night, looking through the public area's floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the Eiffel Tower's shimmering lights pass over the sleeping capsules, there was a cyberpunk sense of solitude. There's no privacy here, only the most precise routine for sleeping and showering. It's perfect for those who need...
Very good. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Haneda Airport. If you have a lot of luggage, you'll need to leave it outside the room, but Japan is generally safe, so you can feel at ease. The cleanliness was also very good, and the pillows were quite large. Great hotel with friendly staff and just outside Toyocho station. Amenities were available at the reception. I was here for two nights for work and had a great experience. The staff kept my luggage for a few hours after check out, which was really helpful since I had to finish some work before leaving.
Very close to the metro station. Looks reasonable price hotel which able to reach downtown Tokyo around 15 minutes. You know, rooms of business hotels in Japan are very small, like a cubicle-separated.
Not bad but everything depends on the budget. I recommend it only in case of low budget. The location is good and the train station is just adjacent to this hotel.
Good experience.
Clean and quiet hotel. Convenient area with convenient store, pharmacy, a number of simple restaurants around. Super near to the metro around 2mins walking distance.
The staff here are brilliant. Professional and extremely courteous. They looked after me very well for the 3 weeks that I was here in Japan. Thanks to all the staff there.
I thought it was a small but beautiful room, but there was a sticker on the table to stop the lid of ○ Qing's cup noodles lol
(I peeled it off and threw it away)
The room is dark, so you may not have noticed it when cleaning.
Also, the breakfast was delicious!
I was full!

I've stayed here several times now, and overall, I'm quite satisfied. The front desk lady speaks Chinese and has a great attitude.
I came to Japan alone for a concert at Tokyo Dome, and this hotel was perfectly located. There's a FamilyMart right next door, and the station is just a 5-minute walk away, with direct access to Haneda Airport. The room had a mini-fridge and was cleaned daily. It was quiet at night, which made me feel very safe traveling solo!
I stayed here for one night, and overall it was pretty good. It's very close to Higashi-Nihombashi Station on the Asakusa Line, which offers direct trains to both Narita and Haneda airports, making it super convenient. It's also near JR Bakurocho Station and the Shinjuku Line. The only minor drawback is that the room is quite small. It's perfectly fine for stays of two nights or less, but any longer...
A regular Tokyo hotel I would say based on size and room amenities, except that its very close to a metro station that is on the same line as the keisei express to the airport. So you can get there in a pretty short amoutn of time from the airport without even taking the skyliner. this to me is a big plus. Otherwise not much to say, there is a familymart and some restaurants that are close by that...
The room was clean and tidy, the stuff is nice. So many metro lines are located near the hotel, so it's so easy to go everywhere in Tokyo from here! Akihabara is within 20-30 minutes walking, Family Mart is next door.

The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from the west exit of Suidobashi subway station. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and a delicious soba noodle place too! 😋 The environment is great, but it's a bit inconvenient that the capsule only has USB charging.
Extremely close to Tokyo Dome, clean, quiet, and less than 100m from Suidobashi subway station.
Great environment. It's located downtown, with shrines and parks nearby, making it convenient for getting around.
The free space is great, and the location is convenient. The sleep report is very detailed.
The only issue is that the number of power outlets is quite limited, so I couldn’t charge my phone at night. (There is a USB port, but there is no Type-C port)
Just arrived in Tokyo and needed a temporary place to stay. If you have a lot of luggage, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway station, and the path isn't the easiest. The hotel is clean and conveniently located near the station, making travel easy. You need to leave your key at the front desk before checking out. The staff are polite and provide good service. There's also a washing machine, which is very convenient.
We stay just for a night to catch early morning Shinkansen. The location is not too far from both Ueno and Okachimachi, however due to rain, its harder to walk there.
The hotel is clean but a bit old and I cannot open the windows so its kinda hot (until late night where the temp drops).
Overall, a good choice for short stay in the heart of Ueno
Super convenient! Right downstairs, it's bustling with activity, and the station is just a few minutes away. Couldn't be easier! 👍👍👍
Not for fussy travelers. Very basic and dated room, cant complain any as the rates was really good. Lobby provides lotion or scrubs, and also coffee n tea. Need to deposit the room key each time we go out of the hotel. Very near to Keisei ueno station is a plus

The price is relatively cheap, you're right in front of a convenience store, you don't really get amenities but you can buy for cheap... it's more of a party hostel...not a quiet one
This my first hostel experience, and it was a good one. The shared dorm was tiny but fine. Capsule had enough space for my carry on luggage plus backpack and some hangers to help with organization. Hotel staff are awesome from the front desk to the bartender. Great area being in Shinjuku. Would recommend!
The location is very good. Godzilla, the Golden Gai, the Cat and Donki is just 10-15 mins away. The Mario Kart is also 2 blocks away.
The people (guests) are mainly foreigners. The staff and service and their breakfast is very good.
The atmosphere is really nice and quite when you share the common space with others, and lots of activities for socializing.
It was a great experience! I was told that this would be a self-service check-in, but there were staff helping with the check-in process. Process was smooth and quick, and the staff is friendly. The facilities, beddings, towel were very clean. Shared bathroom was also clean with stable hot shower. I feel safe and comfortable during the stay and highly recommend for solo/ budget travellers.
Generally clean hostel. 2xBunkbed women’s room was super small but handy it you don’t want to share with strangers. Communal showers and toilets were clean and comfortable. I stayed for several nights, but it was a very ordinary business hotel. The breakfast was quite expensive, even for Tokyo.
Even though it's an economy hotel, it's incredibly well-equipped! They have everything you could possibly need. The staff are also great! Definitely recommend it! The only downside is the air conditioning isn't very cold, but that's a common issue in Japanese hotels.
The hotel was very clean and my kids loved it so much they wanted to extend our check-out to stay longer! Breakfast was also incredibly rich and varied, which made everyone very happy. The hotel itself was very quiet 🤫

My stay was good. The location though surrounded by bars which was one of my concerns during the night one of the cons of staying due to being a solo female traveler. Terrible night. Guests arriving at all hours of the night still wearing their sneakers, flip flops and high heals into the capsule room rolling their luggage. The sleep pods can be stuffy at night, but if you’re familiar with capsule hotels you would be familiar with this experience.
Location is a little far from the nearest station, so it requires a bit more walking compared to some other hotels in Shinjuku.

Very nice local stop for non-crowded area! walking distance to all shopping, foods and transportation.
The hotspring has limited time which you should pay attention at the beginning.
I stayed here for business. The parking was very convenient. It was close to the station, so it was only a few minutes' walk away, which I thought was very convenient.
This was my first time at a business hotel in Japan, and it was perfect for a business hotel with good value. The staff were friendly, the room was appropriately sized, and the washing machine and vending machine on the fifth floor made for a comfortable stay.
I had booked a non-smoking room and was shown to a room that was definitely a non-smoking room, but the moment I opened the door, I was hit with the smell of cigarettes, which was very unpleasant (maybe it was originally a smoking room...). I don't think it can be hidden for people who don't like the smell of cigarettes. That was the only disappointing thing.
Came here by accident, staff was nice, it was clean, you can definitely stay here. Room is a bit small like everywhere around Tokyo
This hotel offers great value for money for business trips to Kawaguchi. There's also a hot spring on the first floor that you can use during specified hours. The rooms, like most Japanese hotels, are small but have everything you need. The only quirky thing was that there was no charging outlet by the bed. The only place to charge anything in the whole room was under the desk, across from the bed...

Tokyo, 1 Chome-52-5 Tokiwadai, Itabasi, 174-0071 Tokio, Yaponiya (8 km from centre) 🧭 Map
It was great to have such a smooth check-in and check-out process. However, there were no amenities, so you need to bring your own. The plug in the bathtub was broken, so the water drained out, and the sink stopper was also broken. But it was quiet, which was nice.
Great location, no unpleasant odors in the room, and excellent service.
Very nice near in train station
The location is near train station, also there are several convenience stores nearby, room is not too big (standard budget hotel in Japan). Cleanliness is good, overall good
The room is clean. Few minutes walk from the train station, fast food restaurant and convenience store. Express check out. You just need to drop the key card.
Overall good, just construction work at night
