On June 10, 2024, my family checked into Hotel New Otani Tokyo the Main. Shortly after midnight on June 13, my daughter suffered a sudden and severe asthma attack that left her struggling to breathe. Because she had never experienced asthma before, we had no medication on hand. As visitors from the United States with no knowledge of Japan’s medical system, we felt utterly helpless.
I hurried to the...
Japanese style 5-star hotel. The hotel was really big with many buildings. Nice staying for relax time. Breakfast were good. The room was clean and quiet. Will back agian.
Nice and clean, classy and traditional Japanese style
The complex is humongous! So many services and restaurants, you cannot make up your mind on which restaurant to choose. The buffet dinner in the restaurant at 17th floor is amazing. The Japanese garden is a gem!!!
Had a good stay at this hotel. Will definitely come back again next time
The room was a bit dated with a view of shinjuku, disappointing considering the advert and photos show views of the gardens.
Room was a bit dated. Friendly helpful staff. Located in a quiet suburb but was a 12-15mins walk to the nearest metro.
Pretty old building with standard rooms. Location is convenient just 2-3 minutes walk from bayside station
Fantastic hotel, super friendly and helpful staff. Was an absolutely fantastic experience and right across the street from the bayside Disney monorail stop (5 min walk)
The stay was great. Reception was really nice. Big room and it’s clean. We enjoyed the stay a lot
This is our 2nd time stay at Okura within 7 months and we truly enjoy our stay here both times. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The quality and variety of food selection were great too. Keep up the good work.
stayed 3 nights for Disney. location is great just that the rooms looked a little dated.
I was there with my family, party of 5. I booked two rooms. The hotel is super well located, if you want to go to Disney. Right in front of the train station, and the shuttle service is also well organized. Breakfast has a lot of different thing to choose from. The rooms are a little bit old, no so dramatic, but is not quite modern. I would be staying there again.

This is my most frequent stayed hotel in Tokyo. Location is perfect, just a few mins walk from the Shinagawa Station. There is also a hotel shuttle bus that takes you to the Prince Hotel that is across the street from the station if you have a lot of luggage. I particularly like the private Japanese garden of the Hotel, it is very rare in hotels in Tokyo where land prices are high. Room size is...
Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel overall, but I was quite disappointed that it had no swimming pool and only a tiny gym. The gym had just two treadmills and two exercise bikes, all crammed into a very small room with no air conditioning. For a five-star hotel with hundreds of rooms, this is far below expectations. Quite a letdown.
We really loved our stay here with spacious room, balcony and kind stuffs!
Whole hotel is specious so we didn’t feel crowded at all since lobby is also spacious with beautiful interior.
There are many restaurants and cafes too so it’s very convenient. Even if it’s rainy day we can just spend time inside the hotel which was very good.
We will definitely come back!
Also really apprecite all kind...
The room is comfortable. The washroom is big. Very convenient.
The room is very dated. They need to renovate. The garden is nice and balcony is nice. Location is also very good and near the subway station
Good location just few mins walk to Shinagawa train station, can see Tokyo Tower if you get the room facing that direction

It was one of the best hotel experiences we had. Lots of amenities and very convenient if you are visiting Tokyo Disneyland.
This is one of the good hotel if you are Disneyland lover. Very Convenient to Disneyland.
The hotel is nice and clean. Good breakfast, good welcoming and the rest of the services. I highly recommend for those who are only coming to Tokyo for Disneyland.
Hotel for Disney land trip. Stayed 3 days. Good that there are bus to station.
Few restaurants but seldom try except breakfast.
Situated just next to the bayside station. Yet shuttle bus is still available. Didn’t felt it was needed till we visited Disney, the shuttle was awesome after a 20k+ step day at Disney.
Had buffet dinner on my first night, it’s nothing to wow about, but everything was quite yummy. Selection was okay, we had our fills. Not the cheapest meal for sure. For a cheaper meal, there’s always the hotel convenience...
I love everything about the hotel apart from the location. It's quite far
Location: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 right directly across the street from Bayside Disney railway stop.
One downside: no convenience store. We walked 7 minutes in the rain, to the Hilton. The Hilton has a huge Lawson supermarket in the first floor.
I still give 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 because the first floor of Sheraton has Tostina, cafe which had delicious juices, salads, sandwiches and rice dishes to go.

Room was excellent. Breakfast as well. Location wise, you are on a smaller subway line which is very close, but you will need more time getting to Tokyo proper area. Subway is closer to HND but further away from NRT with multiple transitions required, so safer to use the limo bus(~20/pp) which comes to the hotel if possible as number of times for departure is reduced vs subway. Otherwise arrange for...
I had a wonderful three-night stay at Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba. The hotel's prime location offered spectacular views of Tokyo Bay, creating a serene atmosphere. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and impeccably clean. Staff were courteous and attentive, consistently going the extra mile to assist. Breakfast was delightful, featuring a diverse and tasty selection. Grand Nikko Tokyo Odaiba...
Very pleasant stay. Provided lots of bath amenities. Near 3 shopping centre. All walkable with 5-10 mins. Lots of children activities at the 3 malls. Beside mrt but not noisy at all. Very pretty views at night
We loved our stay at Grand Nikko Odaiba. We had a free room upgrade, wch made things better! Thank you so much for everything!
Like a hotel very much, very comfortable beds , pillows, nespresso capsules, variety of tea, super nice breakfast buffet , also a traditional Japanese and European, lots of fruits. A view at the rainbow gate and Statue of Liberty is fascinating (22F) . Mall Diver-City is 5 min walk. Monorail is coming every 5 min, 15 min and you’re on Shimbashi station, also an airport limousine bus departs straight...
Very spacious hotel, not just the rooms. But also the hotel lobby, car park and gym. It even has an art gallery. Staff has good English. They are helpful and sincere. Worth to stay again next time.

The Best hotel ever! Room was excellent and had a super comfortable stay! Will come back for sure.
Avoid Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel — the smell is unbearable.
I stayed here knowing the hotel is a bit old, and the price seemed to reflect that — but nothing prepared me for the smell. It reeks everywhere. In the lobby, in the hallways, in the rooms — it’s a constant, unpleasant odor. I couldn’t even tell what it was — stale cigarettes, old carpet, mold, or something worse. At some point I honestly...
Amazing hotel, great location, amenities were great. Great luggage storage if you’re out and about, was really close to the station, I couldn’t have been more happy.
Great location in the heart of Shibuya, with a room size that is much larger than typical hotels in Shibuya. The hotel also has a 20m lap pool, which is quite rare in Tokyo city center.
Such a beautiful place and location, I would highly recommend it
Shibuya district close to everything, very convenient location, shops, restaurants, parks, metro. Rooms are quite big for Tokyo. It’s quiet in the hotel. Liked lounge at 35 floor with a great view over citi and afternoon tea and cocktails. Japanese breakfast was great. Hotel provide usual European breakfast as well

We left the room key at the pool and the attendant chased us to return the key. Excellent service!
Staffs are professional with well trained . All are able to communicate in English. The hotel is far walking from Ginza station about 10-15 minutes. It’s nearby Hibiya metro line.
The service is top notch. The room is clean and well equipped. The style may not be trendy but furnitures are well made and high quality.
Very nice stay, recommended we all very satisfy
It completely deserves the reputation as the elegant 5-star Japanese hotel with a tradition of over a century. The Japanese detailed-minded and dedicated services provided by every member of the staff are impressive. They are always more than helpful.

Great facilites and views of the city. Garden was lovely and variety of options for food whether its breakfast provided or dinner
Located in Akasaka mitsuke, so a very good location as the 2 main tourist regions are easily accessible, with shinjuku and shibuya on one side and ginza, asakusa and ueno on the other. The staff are courteous and the rooms spacious although the layout of the hotel is a little bit difficult to navigate.
Very nice hotel. Staff was incredible. Be aware that there are two towers and that the lobby is on upper floors for both hotels. This might be a surprise for some travelers. The gradens are very nice and the breakfast was well worth it.
Excellent service and service. The garden is very nice to walk through or to enjoy a meal and look out on.
When we got here, My mother suffered from a migraine. The staff managed to get us a room for her to recover in for an hour before getting our rooms ready extra early at 11:00. They were very helpful and nice!

Go to swimming 4000 yen per person per session, too expensive and why not free for us
The location is pretty convenient and the room is spacious. However, breakfast is just OK, could have more variety of food and selection.
Family bedroom is nice and staff are efficient and polite. The hotel is a bit old but acceptable. Price is high in view of peak season and close to Disneyland. Overall, it is acceptable but more willing to come again if price is lower.
Wonderful hotel with nice location and good service. There's Lawson at 1F so u don't need to worry about food when u back from Disney.
Its too expensive. Please be careful in booking this hotel because pool, parking etc are of expensive charge. You basically only pay the room when you book on this hotel. You will have extra charges when you use their facilities like the pool and parking :(
Close to Disneyland/ Disneysea and they have shuttle to Disney and station. Very convenient location. Easy to send luggage too. Room is clean and very comfortable for family.

Impeccable service from start to end.
One thing was we inquired if a breakfast sandwich could be arranged as we left early for a tour - and the front desk “explicitly say NO” without any further confirmation from higher management as we had booked a stay with breakfast.
There’s a 7/11 and Lawson located in the same building. Subway station conveniently also in the same building!
Good location, nice hotel, great service. Highly recommend.
It was a very enjoyable stay with good service from the staff. The location is very convenient.
The only downside was delay in luggage pick up during check out and it was difficult alone with 3 pieces of luggage.
Apart from that, the stay was very good. Would recommend.
Good location near Tochomae station so 1 stop from Shinjuku station. Not as busy as Shinjuku, but close enough to walk and experience that area.
The location is superb because there are 2 train stations within walking distance. Almost all the hotel staff can speak fluent English and they are very helpful.
The hotel had 5 stars until sadly I had left my speaker in the room after check out. Sadly for what most think of Japan being a very secure country. I would highly recommend you check everything before you leave. Made worse by the blasé attitude when I report the left device. The hotel is not bad. But do make sure you got everything. Because one way or another. ITS GONE

Very spacious room with amazing breakfast buffet. They offer free shuttle bus so it was easy to get to the hotel, as well as to Disneyland.

Excellent for anyone going to Disneyland or DisneySea. Convenient bus 2x per hour.
This was the first place my father and I went to for a trip to Japan. It was a wonderful introduction to Japanese hospitality and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety that anyone could find something to eat. The konbini, restaurant, and Disney store in the hotel were all wonderful as well. I would 100% recommend and return again.
Clean and spacious room. Hotel is conveniently located near Disneyland, Disney Sea and train station.

Hotel has a nice view of Tokyo Bay. My room got a view of Rainbow Bridge which is beautiful for both day and night time. Room is larger than some other hotels in Tokyo but the location is a bit far from the city. Just closed to Odaiba and TeamLabs.
Breakfast is good with variety choices. If you like sashimi, this hotel is a right choice for you
very nice onsen spa place here, we got enjoy a lot, most important is the great breakfast, I like the ikura can refill nonstop , happy with that , also miss that a lot
Definitely recommend to stay for the onsen.
Great hotel near Toyosu fish market with roof top outdoor hot springs. The room is spacious, clean and provides all the necessary amenities.
It’s very nice hotel, the view is very beautiful, can see ribbon Bridge, Tokyo Tower sky three

The hotel isn't old, and it offers the best value for money if you want a view of Tokyo Tower. This time, I was given a room on the seventh floor with a balcony, and it provided a perfect, unobstructed view of Tokyo Tower, which was fantastic.
The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient to get around with several public transport options nearby. However, be aware that the swimming pool, gym, and hot spring facilities all come with extra charges. We had breakfast included for three days, but on the third day, we had an early flight and couldn't make it. The front desk offered to pack us a lunch box, but what we ended up...
The view is fantastic, you can see the Tokyo Tower directly. The staff are warm and patient, and the cleaning service is very diligent and attentive. Although the facilities are a bit old, the hygiene and environment are satisfactory.
The rooms are a bit dated and the restaurant doesn't offer much variety, but the location is excellent. It's right next to Zhixin Park, so we could take the kids out for a walk after dinner.
-There is a taxi stand in front of the hotel, close to Tokyo Tower, and the service is good.

The hotel's design aesthetic is quite stylish and new, and the rooms are spacious enough. Although it's located in the Tokyo suburbs, it's only a two-minute walk from Shiomi Station on the JR Keiyo Line. Rooms are big for Tokyo, perfect for families. Has a family mart connected to the hotel and was really convenient for quick snacks. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Shiomi station. Hotel was very well located close to Shinjuku Station. Check in using their automated system was very easy. Excellent location. Pick up point for Airport express Limo bus. Walking distance to Shinjuku JR Station and most places in Shinjuku. Twin room is spacious and clean. Will definitely be my first choice of start in Tokyo.
