Hostel Chapter Two Hotel in Tokyo

The hostel is located conveniently close to Asakusa Station but is also in a quiet lane so it’s peaceful with a wonderful view of the river. Some of the spaces are a bit too cramped and having huge suitcases can be an issue but they do have a luggage storage area.
Overall the hostel has a gods atmosphere with a helpful staff!

Clean place, comfortable and spacious pods, and very friendly and helpful staff.

The location is fantastic.

Staying in Tokyo for a week, I found this Gem, close to things to see and trainstations. Friendly staff who can give you great tips on things to discover, some not on tourist menu, nice Rooftop with view of Sumidariver and interesting cozy Underground Livingroom, watch your head if you are tall, I will defenitly stay here again when I come to Tokyo.

Has a chill spot on the roof overlooking the river & some nice night lights.

This was my first stay in Japan. It was a great place to land! It was quiet and clean, which was really nice for getting away from the big energy of the city. The sleeping rooms are air-conditioned. The place is owned by a couple and isn’t too big, so it has a more homey feel— Erica is amazing and so kind!!
There’s the option to get breakfast at an additional fee and there is always tea available. I loved the location, right by the water.

But, I have to say this is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!

First: The location was great just about 3 or 4 minutes walk from the station(depending on how fast you walk I guess 😂) and it's close to the attractions around Asakusa and the owner has great recommendations(that you scan with a QR code)

Second: The staffs were great! Very friendly and speaks really good english!

Third: The rooms, I booked a bed with a view and it was the best thing ever! Having a view of the river and the skytree at night was lovely ❤️ the bed was really comfortable for me and spacious since I am quite petite. Had the best sleep ever! Everyone was so quiet at night that it was easy to fall asleep. I almost didn't go out much just enjoying the view from my bed lol.

Fourth: the lounge area was really nice too, very comfy and relaxing, although, for tall people you may have to bend down a lot to access the other side of the lounge lol but again, no problem for me since I am short.

Now for some cons in my honest opinion,

The shower room and bathroom can be a bit too hot since it's summer so just be aware of that, it isn't air-conditioned inside.

Stairs. Though I had no problem with it because I only had a backpack and some bags that I can carry. For people with big suitcases though may be a bit difficult. The staff will help to bring your stuff up though.

That's about it, overall this hostel is highly recommended! Get the one with the view of the river! Oh and I forgot to mention, the stairs for the upper bunk bed are a great design, most hostels have ladders but this one had actual steps to the upper bunk which is a huge plus for me since I really don't like climbing up ladders lol and this is irrelevant but I was assigned to the bed no. 8 which is my favourite number lol loved it so much!

It’s a really nice hotel clean and a very good location near to Asakusa metro station and the temple I recommend

Our family of four stayed in the four bed dorm for three nights. We loved how close it was to the station, it made it so easy to get around. We had a great view out to the river and used the deck area and lounge (this is not full height so you have to duck to move around- okay once seated). The hostel was extremely clean and staff very friendly and helpful, the hostel is on a side street next to the river so quiet but very close to great restaurants, the shrine and interesting streets/shops. The hostel has narrow steep stairways so not good if you struggle with stairs. Could also be hard to manoeuvre large or heavy bags
