Tokyo, 1-8-1 Ebisu, Sibuya, 150-0013 Tokio, Yaponiya (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I liked that each capsule had a curtain that could be pulled down and that there were sauna facilities. It would have been great if I could have rented a charger.
Overall, it's a great place and I would recommend it.
Pros:
1. It's very close to the subway station, just a two to three-minute walk, which is super convenient if you have a lot of luggage.
2. The front desk staff are all very enthusiastic and friendly, and they speak English.
3. Fresh towels, toothbrushes, and other toiletries are provided daily.
4. The male and female dorms and shower areas are...
A decent capsule hotel with everything you need, compactly arranged.
The pod for sleeping is cozy for 1 night or 2 max because it’s tiny but it does the work ! The sauna and showers are very nice! There’s the temperature for each shower and great explanation of what to do on the wall. Overall i enjoyed my short stay !
The beds are decent, and there's a fan above each bed. They provide fresh toiletries daily. The only slight inconvenience is that even if you're staying multiple nights, you have to fully check out by 11 AM each day. You can store your luggage in the storage room on each floor, but it's a bit small, so you can't open your suitcase there. Other than that, everything else was quite satisfactory.
The capsule look a bit old but the toilet is very clean. There are private showers, open showers, and a sauna which is fantastic. However, there’s no lift from the ground level to the lobby, so you’ll need to use the stairs. But from the lobby to the dormitory, there is a lift available. The location is great, close to Uniqlo and the metro station. Overall, it was a really good experience.

Very interesting stay at Anshin Oyado Shinjuku capsule hotel. I really enjoyed the complementary food and beverages during my stay.
I have always wanted to stay at a capsule hotel and this place did not disappoint. The pods were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I would highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers with an adventurous bone. The location was shockingly convenient as well...
The 3rd floor lounge close on 3am, many people come back from club unable to rest
This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and overall, this one was pretty good. However, I'm a light sleeper, so predictably, I didn't get a good night's rest. Still, it's probably the most convenient option given its proximity to the station. Plus, the curry was quite good!
This hotel was mostly satisfactory, even though it was a bit pricier than similar accommodations, likely due to its prime location right off a bustling street in Shinjuku. They offer complimentary breakfast, curry rice for dinner, ramen, and all-you-can-drink alcohol, coffee, and other beverages. Of course, the food at outside restaurants is more varied and tastier. The bathroom was also great, almost...
Its goood everything is already there i would definitely stay there again. a lot of free stuff as well
Love this place - my go-to in Tokyo. Love the atmosphere and the provisions. Has good laundry facilities, and the location is excellent for access to Shinjuku station, shopping, and bars. The onsen is great, although it could do with a cold plunge to make the experience even better!

Great location, 5 min walk to Daiman station , easy access to both narita or henada airport.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's a quick 10-minute monorail ride from Haneda Airport to Hamamatsucho, and then about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. Plus, Daimon subway station is nearby.
I really liked the complete segregation of men and women, with separate access routes. The top floor lounge and rooftop offer great views of Tokyo Tower.
However, the hygiene was quite poor. The bedsheets were...
The hotel's location is excellent, and you can see Tokyo Tower from the spacious lobby.
Location was ideal! Much of the famous sights were nearby and I could easily walk there! Train station is just round rhe corner so it was easy hopping onto trains to nearby towns! Room was clean, comfortable and amenities tip top!
It felt like I was sleeping in a space capsule, yet only a few hundred meters from the ground. Late at night, looking through the public area's floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the Eiffel Tower's shimmering lights pass over the sleeping capsules, there was a cyberpunk sense of solitude. There's no privacy here, only the most precise routine for sleeping and showering. It's perfect for those who need...
Very good. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get to Haneda Airport. If you have a lot of luggage, you'll need to leave it outside the room, but Japan is generally safe, so you can feel at ease. The cleanliness was also very good, and the pillows were quite large. It was quiet at night.

In all it was nice, but the lockers were extremely small, the lounge area did not have a microwave or hot water and the water had a weird smell in the showers. The beds were good and it was very quiet in the sleeping room.
The environment is great and they provide pajamas and towels. It's very quiet at night. However, there are only USB ports by the bed, no Type-C, so you have to go to the first floor to charge your device.
Like 9-hour capsule hotels in other cities, this one is great, although the common area is a bit small. The capsule itself is very quiet, perfect for sleeping. The location is excellent, with plenty of amenities and food options nearby.
The facility was great in general. Except you cant stay over the day its just for sleeping, showering and then you can leave it ln daytime, leave your stuff, as they clean and restrict the sleeping area. Otherwise it was kind of an all inclusive experience and did have a clean and nice washroom, as well as all round service. But it was a bit loud in the morning, the cleaning stuff rummages around exactly...
My stay there was pleasant. The only downside was that the locker area was a bit small, so not so suitable fir people with big luggage
It’s great for those looking to save money. The place is very organized and provides everything you need, pijamas, towels, toiletries and slippers. It can be a bit inconvenient if you have a large suitcase, as it has to be left at the reception because it doesn’t fit in the locker. But for a short stay, I highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, just about 100 meters from the west exit of Suidobashi subway station. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and a delicious soba noodle place too! 😋 The environment is great, but it's a bit inconvenient that the capsule only has USB charging.
Extremely close to Tokyo Dome, clean, quiet, and less than 100m from Suidobashi subway station.
Great environment. It's located downtown, with shrines and parks nearby, making it convenient for getting around.
The free space is great, and the location is convenient. The sleep report is very detailed.
The only issue is that the number of power outlets is quite limited, so I couldn’t charge my phone at night. (There is a USB port, but there is no Type-C port)
Just arrived in Tokyo and needed a temporary place to stay. If you have a lot of luggage, it's about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway station, and the path isn't the easiest. The 'ladies only' floor and lockers require a room key to access, which made me feel very secure. The locker was just big enough to fit my 28-inch suitcase! 👍🏽 The rooms are cleaned daily at 11 AM, and sheets are changed. Everyone...
What a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it for solo travelers.
1. The bathrooms are well-designed with space for clothes and towels, and you don't even need to bring your own toiletries.
2. The personal lockers with key-pad locks felt very secure (perfectly sized for my carry-on).
3. The common lounge area is super comfortable and great for getting some work done.

My stay was good. The location though surrounded by bars which was one of my concerns during the night one of the cons of staying due to being a solo female traveler. But despite that it was street were well lit so it wasn’t too horrible walking back to the hotel. But I would still be mindful about the hours as I’m not someone who stays out late into the night. It’s was a good location close to lost...
Terrible night. Guests arriving at all hours of the night still wearing their sneakers, flip flops and high heals into the capsule room rolling their luggage. The flooring is polished concrete so there is no noise absorption. There is no noise policy and even if there was, this being an unmaned facility there would be no one to enforce it. Strong fluorescent lighting stays turned on all night at the...
Centrally located, convenient, and clean.
The sleep pods can be stuffy at night, but if you’re familiar with capsule hotels you would be familiar with this experience.
Location is a little far from the nearest station, so it requires a bit more walking compared to some other hotels in Shinjuku.
One thing to note is that this place may not be ideal for light sleepers. Because it is a capsule hotel, you can easily hear noises from other guests moving around, opening lockers, or packing their belongings. I personally had some difficulty sleeping due to the noise.
...
I love everything about this capsule!
the entire facility was clean! and well taken care off. I stayed here for one night so only had a backpack for a 2-day 1 night trip, the locker can fit my bag perfectly.
The shower rooms were clean. The have like a changing space as well in front of the shower so that mean you dont have to change in front of the lockers for everyone to see. The capsules were futuristic...
This was the first hotel I stayed at in Japan, and it really embraced Japanese style! Pros: 1. Excellent location near Shinjuku, making transportation super convenient. There are also several convenience stores nearby. 2. Super clean, though I guess that's a common characteristic of Japanese hotels. 3. Very quiet with great soundproofing. Cons: 1. The facilities were minimal and clean.
The location was great and the staff was very polite.
Overall, it's very good and clean, except the storage space is a bit small.
It's right next to Kanda Station, and being a women-only facility gives you a sense of security. Depending on the time of day, the lockers can get crowded and full of people unpacking their suitcases.
The capsule is spacious, so I was able to sleep soundly.
the locker is on first floor ree so we have to up n down to get our things, they don't provide you a toothbrush if u don't ask for it, when you leave your luggage you even can't use the toilet even you have reservations there
I just wanted to experience the capsule room. It felt quite spacious. The hotel provided earplugs but I didn't use them. Maybe I was tired after walking all day and didn't hear any sound. However, the price was a bit high. If two people were together, it would be more convenient and private to find an ordinary hotel.

The bed is covered by a curtain, so it's not soundproof at night and can be a bit noisy. Earplugs are provided at the front desk. Overall, the cleanliness is good; there were no stains. The shower facilities are complete, and it's suitable for a night's stay.
So far, it is the best capsule for me
Overall it's good, but it's not very convenient to take the B1 elevator to take a bath, but it's also a good choice for traveling alone
A very novel capsule hotel. Compared with ordinary capsules, this type of small compartment is much better.
However, there are many small compartments in a closed space. There are many people snoring and smelly feet at night. It is really unbearable. There are many weird people in Japan, especially men. It is very uncomfortable to see people's shoes being torn and tattered.
There are no windows, just...
This was my first time staying at this capsule hotel, but it was more comfortable than any other I've stayed at. I can understand why the price range is a little higher. In addition to the amenities and cleanliness, it also has a bath, so I feel like I was able to relieve the fatigue of work. This is my second time to experience a capsule hotel in Japan. It is as clean and tidy as expected, and the shower room is also clean! I highly recommend it to those who travel alone. The hotel was clean and the staff were very helpful! I booked it because I had business in Iidabashi, and it was lovely to take a leisurely stroll along the river from Ichigaya to Iidabashi. I'd love to visit again.
Incredible stay! I wish I stayed here again, really. My main concern when staying at capsule hotels and hostels is the noise, but because it’s a rule not to make noise or eat or take calls where the pods are here, it was very relaxing. I stayed as a traveller but many people stay for work purposes. The television was a nice luxury, but I really like that each of the pods had two outlets and the air...
Cabin hotel with premium stay, super quiet and clean
Hotel was located in front of the exit to Ichigaya station. Economy class rooms were also quite comfortable for me. Restrooms and showers were also very clean. There were also some shops nearby to dine in. Front desk was very polite and helpful when I asked them questions. Overall, great value for money, especially for solo travelers on a budget in Tokyo.
stayed here for a early shinkansen departure. got everything you need and facilities are quite clean. the capsule itself is definitely bigger than those in 9 hours but you wont have your personal locker as there is a small lockable drawer in your capsule. even got free breakfast from 5-10 am!
We checked in around 11 PM, and staff were still available, making the process quick and smooth. The lobby offered comics and other entertainment. Free breakfast was also served from 5 AM to 10 AM. My regular place to stay every time I come to Japan. This time, I stayed for three nights and was not disappointed.
I really like it.
And next time, I'll definitely stay here.
My second visit! I'm always very satisfied with the consistently friendly front desk and the cleanliness.
Right next to it is the subway station. Surprisingly, there is a bathhouse! You can take a bath and even enjoy a sauna, which is very exciting. The service is excellent. For sleeping at night, you need earplugs.

The room is well-cleaned and all the amenities you need are provided. The woman at the counter is also very nice, and breakfast is available from 5am, with curry, rice balls, bread, etc. There are two hair clips, but both were loose and didn't work well. There are also three showers, but the water pressure is very weak. Other than those two points, everything else was okay!
The amenities is good 👍 but I guess there’s always the issue for people who book the hotel on trip.com.

Absolutely amazing stay at this capsule hotel! Amenities were so good, very glad I didn't take any shampoo etc with me, saved a lot of space. The communal shower, onsen and sauna were such a treat after the long days walking around Tokyo.

Good location old capsule hotel. What annoyed me is the following. You need to check out every single day. You cannot leave anything in your capsule so you have to move everything twice every day. Hotel prices have been really high lately, so even though I wasn't thrilled about it, I booked a capsule hotel with a guaranteed spot on the first floor this time. It was only a few stops from Shinjuku and very close to the station, which sealed the deal. True to its name, it's a women-only hotel, which made me feel very safe. What truly impressed me were the amenities: free alcohol, free late-night...
I heard that starting March 4, 2026, it will become women-only. It's a shame that men won't be able to stay here anymore, but next time I visit, I'll definitely check out the Shinjuku branch. I've stayed at four of their locations in Tokyo, and the Ogikubo branch, just like the others, was impeccably clean.
The lockers were spacious, the bath was nice, and the bathroom amenities were also very easy to use. They had ramen and curry for breakfast and dinner, which was nice. The popcorn was also good with the alcohol. However, it was hot inside the capsule.
I already dream of coming back here. I don’t think you could get any more a positive experience from a capsule hotel. This will be my home base in future Tokyo trips!
Anshin Oyado Ogikubo is a well-equipped capsule hotel with complete men’s amenities — no need to bring your own. The location is slightly out of the city, about a few stations away from Shinjuku, and around 45 minutes to other major attractions. It was a capsule hotel, so a regular hotel would have been better!
This is an artificial bath that uses hot spring travertine from the Futamata Radium Hot Spring in Oshamanbe, Hokkaido, so I went there just to enjoy the artificial hot spring without using the sauna. It's good that there are capsules for women only.
It's an older facility and there are various restrictions, but since accommodation costs are rising, I think it's good for a room-only stay.
It was nice that there was a bath, sauna, and laundry available.
Very convenient, I'd like to come back when I visit Fukuoka.
A very good hotel, convenient for travel, good service, and high cost performance. Good quality and low price, recommended for traveling to Tokyo.
The space is relatively small and there is a sense of oppression. Maybe this is what capsule hotels are like. Don't expect too much!
If you have large luggage, you need to use a coin locker. There are many rules for check-in. The hotel is relatively strict in its management. The beds are clean. There are many restaurants around. It is quite convenient.
The large bathhouse and sauna were very comfortable. The location is very close to the JR Yamanote Line station. Excellent geographical location.
The only downside is that the capsule is a bit hot inside.

Convenient hotel near Yushima station. The check-in time is from 3pm and check-out should be before 10am if you don’t want to be charged extra hour fee (even 1min late). They have a nice bathhouse in the basement. Capsules do feel a bit small. Lockers are small, but you can put your stuff in your capsule or outside of it. Would book again, it's an authentic Japanese experience.
Make sure to learn japanese a bit😁

Tokyo, 6-chome-8-20 Ueno, Tayto, 110-0005 Tokio, Yaponiya (60 min from centre) 🧭 Map
I really enjoyed this experience and would definitely stay again for the odd night for extremely cheap accommodation. It was unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before. It was well located. The price also included food (Curry, rice, noodles) and hot and cold (soft) drinks and if you can read Japanese a whole library of Manga books. The staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel was very clean, and the location was super convenient.
The location is super convenient, with lots of restaurants nearby. The capsule experience was quite novel. Sleeping was just okay; you'll definitely need earplugs. It felt a bit stuffy. The shower facilities were good, and they even offer free curry rice for both breakfast and dinner.
good services from female employee and small tv, I'm happy to have a glass coffee everyday. pity they don't have bigger luggage storage
The accommodation has a great location, close to Ueno station (less than 500 meters). There's a 7-Eleven right next to the building, which you can access through from within the building. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's close to Ameyoko Market, a lively area. I personally chose the capsule room. The capsule space is just right, not too big or too small, unless you're a large person. I requested...
Honestly it's really normal, same price you can find a better choice.
The front desk looks busy all the time and they didn't give me any clothes (that they ask all the customers need to wear) and towels (in a bag).
Most of device makes me confused, fortunately, the people who lived with me helped me. And the shower you need to push it almost all the time.
When I check out | asked the front desk Is...
