When the living room had a fan will be better

I stayed here for three nights. This traditional Okinawan house was available for rent. I think it was a 4DK (4 bedroom, 4 dining room, 4 kitchen). There was a TV on the kitchen floor, where I spent most of my time. I used one of the Japanese-style rooms as my bedroom, and took naps in another Japanese-style room next to the kitchen, which got plenty of sunlight. It was very relaxing. The lack of floor cushions was a bit of a pain, though. I had a mat, so I used that...
The location was just a two-minute walk from the Kanehi supermarket, making it incredibly convenient for grocery shopping. I bought salt and pepper to grill some meat, and even considered making rafute (simmered pork belly) if I had the seasonings. Since I returned my rental car on the second day, I spent the third day traveling by bus. The bus stop was only a minute away. There were only about two buses every three hours, but that wasn't a problem. Direct buses to Naha and the airport were a 15-minute walk away. It's a very convenient location.

My work in Okinawa finished early, leaving me with about two days free.
While visiting the Churaumi Aquarium and souvenir shops would be nice, I decided to head as far north as possible and rented a car to Kouri Island.

I'd also like to see the ocean on Kouri Island.

However, the hotels and inns on Kouri Island are a bit pricey for a single person, so I searched for a nearby place and found a reasonably priced one-story inn in Nakijin Village.

The inn was a spacious, typical Okinawan house with a one-story design, about 3 bedrooms and 3 kitchens.

The landlord lives next door and is very generous and kind. (^^)

Since I rarely get the chance to stay in an Okinawan home, and since I'm allowed to have a barbecue in the spacious garden, I bought ingredients and alcohol at a nearby supermarket.

At night, under the starry sky, I grilled canned food on the barbecue grill while drinking Orion beer.

The luxury of nothing and the opportunity to reset my mind.

It was a quiet and pleasant inn. (^^)

It's spacious and has a good degree of freedom. You can experience life in Okinawa. There are shops nearby.
