THE GRAND HOTEL GINOWAN in Ginowan

Good location, clean and neat. Surround with food and amenities. Was underrated.

Our no.1 choice when we come to Okinawa for vacation!
It’s near by the route 58, so you can go anywhere pretty easy!

The hotel staffs were friendly and welcoming, felt great to staying here. The room was big enough and clean, also the free drinks and snacks were a wonderful touch!

Would definitely stay here whenever we’re in Okinawa.

New hotel with two levels of free parking; Room is rather small but comes with standard amenity (without microwave oven); Location is rather isolated but a FamilyMart is adjacent to the hotel main entrance. Complementary happy hour (4-7pm) with free sakes and snacks.

For traveling, the location is a bit far from most attractions, but for a business trip, the hotel works very well with its good facilities and breakfast. There is also a convenience store downstairs, along with available parking space.

The hotel is very new and modern. Rooms are correct and a big bigger than in other cities in Japan. They are very clean and have a nice balcony facing the seaside. The staff is very kind and they serve free drinks from 4-7pm. The breakfast is correct and offers a little variaty of food. Products are in general fresh.

There's a Family Market 24/7 just at the entrance of the hotel. Few nice restaurants are also available for lunch or dinner closeby (some can be reached by foot). 

The direct bus from/to the airport (bus 143!) stops just 100mt away from the hotel and it's very convenient. You also have buses for Naha City and to some beachside destinations. The nicest beach is Araha (40min by foot, 20min by bus 63, and 10-15 by car). Tropical beach is also closer but I preferred Araha with a lot more restaurants facing the beach and a lot of people and call family in the evening (there is also a kids ground).

The Hrand Hotel Ginowan is a nice place to stay.

This is my fourth time staying here. As always, it's clean and satisfactory. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, and parking is free.

Friendly staff. Good location in about the middle of the island with free parking. Clean and spacious with many plugs. Family mart down stairs.

Negatives are: gecko in the room, no bottled water, pillow with very little stuffing makes you feel like sleeping without a pillow. Cleaning is every 3 days and only if you put a sign up for it. Bathroom is typically small as Japanese standard, which is a loss because they could've made the room larger by merging the "changing" room with the bathroom.

The room was great, clean and tidy. There's also a convenience store downstairs, which made for a very good travel experience. It's not too far from American Village, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The Grand Hotel Ginowan was an excellent stay. The Family Mart right on-site and open 24 hrs is fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay here!
