Room was on the larger side. A very comfortable stay. It is right outside the subway station too. With plenty of convenience stalls, also a straight walk to the shopping district. Love everything about this hotel.
Nice views, can see plane descending to airport from high floor room.
Good value for older style 5 star hotel.
The main reason is the inconvenient location. It's about a kilometer walk to the Tenjin area, and the subway station is in an awkward spot. Even if you take the train one stop to Tenjin-Minami, you still have a walk afterwards. I'd suggest staying closer to Tenjin, even if it means sacrificing a bit of space; proximity is better.
Cleanliness: Average. They didn't even clean up the previous guest's cotton swabs.
Service: Pretty good.
The hotel overall is quite old and doesn't even have a swimming pool. I don't think it's worth the price. Other than being a bit more spacious and having room for a suitcase, I don't see much else that's great about it.
