Hotel Monterey

Location is nice to go tenjin shopping center and canal city.
Room cleaning is not perfect. There are old dusts all around edges and corners of floor carpet.

The hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Tenjin shopping district, and only two subway stops away from the Hakata shopping area. Dining and shopping options nearby are abundant and easily accessible. The room was also very spacious. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The triple room we booked for the first two days was quite spacious. We wanted to extend our stay, but since that room type was fully booked, we had to settle for a twin room that could accommodate three people. On the day we switched rooms, the hotel staff kindly transferred our luggage directly, which was very convenient and didn't disrupt our plans at all. They even added an extra bed for us, ensuring we still had three beds in total. The hotel is only a two-minute walk from the subway station. It's just one stop to Tenjin and three stops to Hakata, with both journeys costing a reasonable ¥210.

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed at!
Me and my friend enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel gives luxury vibes with not expensive prices, the staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.
We arrived 3 hours earlier and could get a room with laying for those 3 hours which wasn’t expensive but was very convenient after tiring flight.
We took lunch right away and it was a well served restaurant with the waitresses kindly describing every dish to us in English. The buffet breakfast we took next morning was rich in options and very delicious, too, so I highly recommend book a room with breakfast.
The room we booked was incredibly spacious, not only for Japanese hotel room size standards, but generally big, beautiful, clean. The view from the window was fantastic. The bathroom was also big, with separate toilet room and big bathtub. There even was makeup cleansing oil and bathtub salt.
Every day when we returned back to hotel the bathroom smelled incredibly nice after cleaning.
Location is just perfect, subway stop is in like 1 min walk and convenient to go in any direction. 24/7 shops nearby, as well as many food choices in daytime and at night, bars and shisha places.
Walking distance to shrines and malls.
Overall we had the best experience at this hotel and I highly recommend it to everyone!
When I come back to Fukuoka again (which is a highly enjoyable city for rest) I’m definitely staying at this hotel again.

The hotel offers comprehensive facilities, and the room was equipped with an air purifier. It was quite clean and surprisingly spacious. The location is excellent, being close to Watanabedori Subway Station and popular attractions such as Tenjin Underground Shopping Center and Canal City Hakata. There's a 7-Eleven and a sizable supermarket right outside, which makes buying breakfast and fruits very convenient. The hotel lobby is on the 3rd floor and is quite spacious. When I accidentally scalded my hand with hot water, the front desk staff immediately provided an ice pack for prompt treatment. I really appreciated their quick assistance.

Spacious room. Convenient location where many restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Some 屋台 just across the street at night.
