Terminal Hotel Matsuyama in Matsuyama

The hotel is located about a hundred meters from Matsuyama Station. The room was good size, looked recently renovated although the furniture was old and somewhat worn out. The room supplies are provided at the front desk and are available 24 hours. The room key must be used to turn the light by inserting it into a separate keyhole located on the wall panel.

Nice location near JR Station. The room is kind old fashion, but clean. The staff are very nice and helpful.

Cleanish enough. Rooms were okay. Onsen baths cross the street for a fee (albeit reduced to 550¥). Easy access to everything Matsuyama city has to offer.... Buy a bit dated.

Advantages: Located next to the JR station and the Matsuyama tram loop line, the transportation is very convenient. There are several restaurants downstairs next to it. Among them, the Japanese restaurant Tomiya, which is closest to the hotel, is recommended. It serves affordable home-cooked dishes. The owner is a kind old lady. Except that the food is a little slow, everything else is good.
Disadvantages: The smallest double room in the hotel was booked. There is almost no place to stand after the box is opened. Although there is a window, it is not allowed to be opened. The refrigerator in the room will make that kind of electrical noise, which is particularly obvious at night, and people with poor sleep quality will be greatly affected.
Others: The store seems to have an event with the hot spring in the mall next to it. The original price of the hot spring is 800 yen per person, but it only costs 550 yen per person when purchased in the hotel, but I didn't experience it.

The breakfast buffet was delicious. There was also a hot spring nearby that was very affordable. The service was also polite and they kept our luggage both at check-in and check-out, so we were able to sightsee at our own pace. We could see a bit of Matsuyama Castle (*^^*)

The facilities are by no means new, but I'm happy just to have a bath and a place to sleep.
There are manga on the floor, and you might find some nostalgic stuff there.
