I stayed here as a single room as a base for sightseeing in Matsuyama. It was the cheapest business hotel in the surrounding area, costing less than 10,000 yen.

Very comfortable room, good soundproofing, clean and tidy without odor, spacious enough, good lighting! The surrounding facilities are complete, food, accommodation and transportation are all available, the service attitude is first-class, not far from the station, most of the city attractions can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, so you don't have to rush when traveling.

The overall environment was great. However, there’s one thing I’m extremely dissatisfied with—the walls! The wall between my room and the next is incredibly thin, and it even shakes. I have no idea what kind of ******* is staying next door, but around 12:30 a.m., they suddenly started banging on the wall multiple times. My bed is right up against that wall, and it shook violently three or four times...

The location is very good, there is a big street downstairs. The room is large and the breakfast view is great, you can see Matsuyama Castle.

This hotel is right next to the coffee shop on the left side when you exit Matsuyama-shi Station tram stop. If you're coming from Matsuyama Port, you can take the tram from Takahama Station directly to the hotel. The facilities are quite new as it just recently opened. Every afternoon, guests can enjoy complimentary welcome drinks, and there's free ice cream in the evenings, which is a great draw....

The hotel is clean and tidy. For self-check-in, staff are available to assist. You can pick up skincare products and toothbrushes at the front desk on the 2nd floor. The hotel's location is excellent, with a convenience store right downstairs. The breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, offering many different kinds of orange juice to try. They even have free orange ice cream in the evenings. Highly recommended!

The hotel breakfast was absolutely fantastic and could be considered a superb experience in its own right. Even the orange juice was exceptionally good, and the buffet spread was amazing. It's located right in front of the Okaido shopping arcade, so it's in a perfect location! However, the rooms and bathroom smelled musty, perhaps because it's old. If you're traveling to Matsuyama, I highly recommend the Candeo Hotel. It's right next to the Okaido shopping arcade and less than 100 meters from the free airport shuttle bus stop, making it incredibly convenient. This site of the hotel is very good. It is just one minute' walking distance from the train stop and easily found. It is just at the shopping area and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Besides, the breakfast is tasty and full of variety. I was very satisfied with this hotel.

Great location, great breakfast but expensive parking

I arrived earlier than check-in time, but the two men at the reception desk were kind enough to let me check in in advance and store my luggage for me. The location was close to Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen, and it was easy to get around by tram, so it was very convenient. I was alone, but I had a comfortable semi-double room. The breakfast was thoughtful, with vinegar drinks and curry.

The scenic spots such as Dogogo Onsen and Matsuyama Castle are very close. The tram is very convenient. This trip was very pleasant. I also went to Shimanami Kaido to ride a bicycle. This is a world-class cycling attraction. I highly recommend going there once in a lifetime.

It's located right on the city train line, so it's super convenient for dining and sightseeing. The rooms are clean and good value for money. Breakfast is a buffet, so I think it's also good value for money. However, it seems to be popular, so there was a lot of congestion at check-in, and the front desk staff were just doing an assembly line and there were no smiles.

It was great being right in front of the Okaido shopping arcade, and it was easy to get there by taxi from the airport. I also liked the large bathtub. I plan to book this place again next time I go to Matsuyama.

Had an amazing stay at Yamatoya Honten. The onsen was beautiful and really relaxing. One of the highlights was the all-you-can-drink bar right outside the onsen, such a unique touch that I haven’t seen anywhere else! The staff were fantastic, super friendly, and always happy to help. Would definitely recommend it!

The location is excellent, as it's right next to the Dogo Onsen Main Building. I was traveling alone, but the single room was larger and more comfortable than I expected, and it even had a massage chair that helped me relieve the fatigue of my travels. I like this hotel very much. I went to the hot spring with my friends during the cherry blossom season and chose this one. It is really good. The facilities are simple and modern, very modern. We chose a one-night stay and two-meals package this time. The food is delicious, but the waiter didn't introduce it. In fact, there are many restaurants to choose from outside.

Check-in and check-out was fuss-free. Room was clean and a good size for two persons, while hotel is within walking distance to the Airport Limo. There were also no issues with delivering luggage to the hotel. Highly recommended.

It’s located at Okaido Station—a well-kept, clean, and well-maintained hotel. The room size is typical for Japanese standards. It’s within walking distance to the Matsuyama Castle chairlift/gondola, with plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby, especially along the arcade street.

Located on a street near to many izakayas and 15 minutes walk to the main shopping street and tram. No noise problems. Bed is comfortable.

It was decent, nothing special, but fair for the price. If I had to mention a drawback, it wouldn't be the hotel, but Matsuyama city itself. I found the dining options quite limited; outside of convenience stores (konbini) and izakayas, there weren't many appealing places to eat.

The rooms are cleaned daily and are kept very clean, but the hotel's facilities are a bit dated.

A little bit on the expensive side but located in one of the main pedestrian streets. The acommodations is great and has a nice hot spring. The breakfast menu is excelent, the only thing I wish it had is granola to eat with yogurt, but other than that the fruits they had were excelent.

The experience was good enough the hotel and the food wasn’t too bad. The hot spring on the top floor is an absolute delight and we didn’t stay in the room much we were almost out, so it was just a place for us to rest our feet and get a good night sleep and that just did the trick. Clean small rooms with a small bath. Nice public bath where nobody complained about tatoos. It's conveniently inside the Okaido shopping street. Some sightseeing places can easily be accessed by foot.

I’m very delighted to write a review on this hotel. It’s super good! The location is perfect: close to JR station and to Iyo tetsu to explore the city. The hotel provides everything you need and extra: different types of shampoo, body cream etc… I really enjoyed breakfast: it has traditional Japanese dishes, so delicious!! First of all, the price is very cheap and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is also okay. There is a small public bathhouse on the first floor, which is great for relieving fatigue. However, the location is a bit disappointing. You have to walk for about 7-8 minutes from JR Matsuyama Station.

The first night we stayed in the East building, but this night we stayed in the West building. There was no shower room in the East building, but there was one in the West building. Since we were going to use the large public bath anyway, it didn't matter which one we stayed in.

It is very close to the Okaido Arcade. If you are worried about the price of Dormy Inn, I recommend staying here. It is a quiet street, so it was great for walking around at night.

This is the place I stayed during my second visit to Matsuyama. It's a bit far from Matsuyama Station and the main street, but it's quiet and clean, so I liked it. The breakfast was delicious, too.

Due to staff shortage, the restaurant is closed at night, no room service food. Seven Eleven store near the hotel was poorly stocked. The room and hall ways were clean, good cleaning staff.

Luxury hotel with private parking and breakfast. The room is huge, very clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The location is great, with a shopping mall, supermarket, and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Because we stayed during Golden Week, we only got a free breakfast, but the all-you-can-drink offer for 3 hours for 500 yen on weekdays was very attractive. I would like to use this again if I have the opportunity. It would be even better if there was some consideration for families with children.

The rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. Breakfast is served in the room and there are several Western and Japanese options to choose from. The portions are average and the hygiene and cleanliness are very average.
