Matsuyama, 3-3-1, Ichiban-cho (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The room size is big enough for 3 people. The bathroom is the separated style which is very comfortable and convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect for visitors to explore the area.
The hotel has a bit of history. It closed on March 31st. Leave a review as a memory. 🤣 Thanks....
Gooood location. Staffs all good and kind thank you.
Located next to Main Shopping Mall of Matsuyama. Rich and delicious breakfast. Hotel rooms neat and clean.
Pros: It has all the necessary amenities and services. Water dispenser on every level, coin laundry (2 in 1) which can pay using IC card, located right across from the entrance to Okaido with Matsuyama Castle behind the hotel. WiFi was strong Cons: Hotel is a bit dated, with its mosaic tiled toilet and worn vanity and bedside table. AC/heating system is centralized, so not much control over wanting...
Here you go — with 5 clean, travel-friendly hashtags added at the end: --- We just checked in to Matsuyama Tokyu REI Hotel earlier today, marking it as our 10th hotel on this journey, and the location immediately won us over. The hotel sits right opposite Ōkaidō Shopping Street and Matsuyama Mitsukoshi, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, food, and daily necessities. Getting here was also...

It was clean and its service is very good.
Good location and very convenient
The bar has a goog night view.
The overall environment was great. However, there’s one thing I’m extremely dissatisfied with—the walls! The wall between my room and the next is incredibly thin, and it even shakes. I have no idea what kind of ******* is staying next door, but around 12:30 a.m., they suddenly started banging on the wall multiple times. My bed is right up against that wall, and it shook violently three or four times...
This hotel was perfect. Very clean and good amenities made me very satisfied. Especially the breakfast service was very impressive
The staff at the front desk were efficient, though they came across as cold and reserved. The room was disappointing, with run-of-the-mill furniture/furnishings and a creaky chair. The lights were too dim. There was no view as the lower half of the window was blocked by a wall. On the other hand, the bathroom looked quite elegant and was kept clean. The location is great. There are plenty of dining...

Located in Okaido area and very convenient to take the Ropeway up to Matsuyama Castle. Although room is not huge, it is clean and there’s a massage chair as well. Service is very attentive.
Good location, clean room and wonderful services.
hotel was amazing! reception was very friendly, allowed to store our luggages till evening next day! room : spacious & very clean! [10/10] location : near shopping district & tram stop but far from subway / JR, a little inconvenient for us with heavy luggages [8/10] miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます!
Clean and tidy, lot of parking space. Convenient location. Room size is good enough to open two big luggages
Super nice environment, hotel was clean and spacious enough, staff were all very polite
Really good location and service as per usual for Daiwa Roynet, but the carpet in the room was a bit dirty.

The location is a little away from the main shopping district. It might be possible to book a room here even if hotels in the city center are fully booked. It's reasonably priced and quiet. It's within walking distance of the main shopping district (around 2 km).
A family of three enjoyed this stay. There are large public baths on the 3rd and 10th floors, and massage chairs are available for free use. The open-air bath on the 10th floor was especially blissful. It completely washed away all the fatigue of the day. The hot spring water was so good that there was no need to go all the way to Dogo Onsen. Aside from the slightly remote location from Okaido and...
It was good in many ways because there was a sauna inside and an outdoor hot spring.
The large public bath with water drawn from Dogo Onsen is the best. There are several types of shampoo and conditioner, so you can choose freely.
I used it to prepare for university entrance exams. There are convenience stores and drugstores within walking distance, so it's convenient.
The website said check-in was from 2pm, but the hotel said it was from 3pm, so we ended up waiting in the lobby. The hotel was trying hard to give off the impression that they were not at fault. In the end, we were able to check in a little early, but our plans were thrown off. The place felt old overall. There was a large public bath on the third floor, but we decided not to use it. The amenities...

Ok hotel. On site parking available. Simple breakfast.
In addition to the convenient location and complete facilities, the staff were friendly and the rooms were consistently clean, making it a safe and secure stay. The price, including breakfast, was very reasonable and offered excellent value for money. However, perhaps due to the fact that I stayed here at the end of the year, I was surprised to see a long line of guests already waiting when I arrived...
This time I stayed here, and it's wonderful that I was able to come across it.
I arrived earlier than check-in time, but the two men at the reception desk were kind enough to let me check in in advance and store my luggage for me. The location was close to Matsuyama Castle and Dogo Onsen, and it was easy to get around by tram, so it was very convenient. I was alone, but I had a comfortable semi-double room. The breakfast was thoughtful, with vinegar drinks and curry.
The cost-effectiveness is not bad.
The location of the accommodation was convenient, a 5-10 minute walk from the bustling Okaido area. Breakfast, while limited in selection, was decent. However, the shops on Okaido Street close earlier than expected (they close around 7-8 PM). If you're looking for dinner, it's best to arrive early.

Clean and reasonably comfortable. Lots of breakfast choices, even some 'western' options. Not luxury, but generally nice.
The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The Onsen on site was very convenient.
The room was renovated and clean. The bath feels old, but I think it is the best point for a business hotel. There is also a famous one-day hot spring within walking distance, so you can use that as well. The front desk didn't feel bad either. It is close to Matsuyama station and has good transportation.
Customer service is also polite and good ❗ The facility is also quite nostalgic.

Perfect location, convenient. If can more 2 units lift then will make better
Everything went smooth! It was a perfect place to sock your body in and relax yourself after a long journey.
90+ in general. The hotel has foot bath outside, which looked great!
It would be better if the tooth brush is softer and shower cap can be provided. Only two massage chairs are not sufficient for the whole hotel. Snacks after bath are fantastic.
Great stay - good sized room. The onsen facilities were excellent especially the outdoor onsen. Never busy when I was there. Great breakfast too. Welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet at night. Easy access to the castle, shops and restaurants and about a 15 min walk from Matsuyama City station.
Late-night soba noodles: Nice, very cozy. Natural hot spring "Ishi-no-yu" (free for guests): It gets quite crowded, so you need to go at the right time. Many hotels in Japan have this kind of facility, and it's really comfortable. Service: The front desk staff speak English, but not Chinese.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. The room was spotless and tidy, and the service was attentive and thorough.
It was really clean and comfortable to stay in, and the new design made it really nice. It was really great to have good memories and a comfortable stay on my first trip. I recommend it to travelers who come to Okinawa right in front.
Standard Japanese budget hotel. Nothing that stands out, both in a positive or a negative way.
Highly recommended!!! The location and the staff were both great!!! Highly recommended!!! I stayed at the Vista Hotel in Matsuyama and it was absolutely wonderful.
The staff spoke fluent English. The overall quality was excellent, just that the room was a little smelly during my stay.
Overall a nice place, well located near a shopping district which enables easy access to convenience stores and the tramway

A good place to stay calmly and conveniently
This hotel has a great Onsen inside of it!! The room was huge and comfortable, assisstanta were very kind and professional.
To make my first trip abroad comfortable, I used a translator to help me.
The first night we stayed in the East building, but this night we stayed in the West building. There was no shower room in the East building, but there was one in the West building. Since we were going to use the large public bath anyway, it didn't matter which one we stayed in.
The entire accommodation environment, facilities and services are great The hot spring ♨️ is also a natural hot spring and the venue is also moderate Taking a hot spring bath before and after the Ehime Marathon helped me completely relax and achieve a good result Close to the shopping street, convenient for shopping Recommended to everyone,
The sauna, breakfast, and bed were all great.

Everything in the hotel room was great, however it was too warm as they turned off the air conditioning.

It is just okay. But I was feeling small room for two.
This is the place I stayed during my second visit to Matsuyama. It's a bit far from Matsuyama Station and the main street, but it's quiet and clean, so I liked it. The breakfast was delicious, too.
Due to staff shortage, the restaurant is closed at night, no room service food. Seven Eleven store near the hotel was poorly stocked. The room and hall ways were clean, good cleaning staff.
Property is nicely maintained, friendly staff. Station is a brisk 15-20 min walk. Tram is very convenient

Located on a street near to many izakayas and 15 minutes walk to the main shopping street and tram. No noise problems. Bed is comfortable.
Great location. Close to places we wanted to visit. Front office staff are very helpful and patient.
We had an excellent experience at the Nest Hotel in Matsuyama. Good location, close to lots of restaurants and it was a very reasonable price. Would stay again
It was decent, nothing special, but fair for the price. If I had to mention a drawback, it wouldn't be the hotel, but Matsuyama city itself. I found the dining options quite limited; outside of convenience stores (konbini) and izakayas, there weren't many appealing places to eat.
The rooms are cleaned daily and are kept very clean, but the hotel's facilities are a bit dated.
Nice and clean, not to far from the castle or onsen with convenience stores close by! Would recommend and stay again! (This is a second stay! So we did stay twice!)

Trendy hotel right at the Matsuyama city station, very convenient for local transport and express buses. The hotel is clean with its own onsen to be used till late. I need to particularly give credit to the most spread out breakfast I have had in Japan that full of surprises as well as the complementary tea, coffee and ice cream. It’s well worth the price.
This hotel is conveniently located at Matsuyama-shi Station, and guests enjoy complimentary drinks and special ice cream. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The service is standard. It's right next to Takashimaya and Gintengai shopping street, making dining and shopping very convenient.
Breakfast was super yummy! Highly recommended!
It’s not a bad group. I was just kind of funny. It was a little light scent of tobacco like someone had smoked in their room but growing up is a cigarette pipe smoker. I really don’t care even though I don’t smoke cigarettes and haven’t smoked anything in years. Superb location, just next to dogo onsen and the shopping street. Parking is confusing at first as you need to drive down a slope which looks like a pedestrian walkway. Hotel looks classic, room is small as any usual Japanese hotel.
I was very impressed with this hotel as I had read some reviews that mentioned it is a little older than the average property but it was sparkling clean with lovely facilities and guest rooms. Dogo Kan is a fairly large onsen hotel buy rooms and baths are intimate. I think theres largely two room types, standard and the upper category which is almost double the standard size. Large onsen hotel with spacious Japanese style rooms. Trade up to a larger room category, absolutely worth it for space and relaxed experience
It's an older hotel, and it shows from the rooms, furnishing, and overall quality. Otherwise it's a nice looking hotel, nice staff, and their own onsen.
We stayed here for two consecutive nights and are truly grateful to the hotel for giving us two distinctly wonderful experiences. This time, we stayed in Room 801. Good location, but the environment is so-so.
It's a good distance to either take the bus from the airport to Okaido or walk or take the tram. I added breakfast this time and it was delicious and very satisfying.
It was conveniently located near the bar district and I would like to use it again.
Of course, compared to more expensive hotels, there are inevitable shortcomings (like a lack of space), but I think it offers the most essential amenities at the best price. :) My friend and I had a great two-night stay!
Very good position close to facilities and transport to dogo onsen and castle. Room is slightly larger than the average Japanese hotel, but unfortunately I can't forgive the presence of mold in the room and on the curtains. A very small attention would massively improve the quality of the room.

Stayed here with friends for a golf trip. Getting around wasn't an issue as we rented a car. What really stood out was the hotel's hot spring – the water was incredibly soft and felt amazing. Even softer than Dogo Onsen, I'd say? My only minor gripes were that there was absolutely no Korean or English spoken, and the pajamas in our room were quite old and too big. Overall, we had a good stay though
At approximately 5,000 yen per person, the hotel included hot springs and breakfast, which I felt offered excellent value for money. The hot spring was great and there was a massage chair in the room, so I was able to relax!

The staff were very polite and kind. Even though I had booked the same room twice through another website, they kindly processed the cancellation for me. However, it was disappointing to find clumps of hair in the shower and bathtub when I was bathing.
The hotel facilities are a bit old and the rooms are on the small side, but it was fine considering the affordable price, and I really liked that the front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They even showed me to a parking spot and waved goodbye all the way up in the elevator.
The sign said to take off your shoes, but I laughed when I saw someone who had already taken off their shoes in the hallway. It was nice to have a welcome drink; it was especially helpful on such a hot day.
I was impressed with how environmentally conscious the operation is.
This price is normal with breakfast included, but it would be nice if parking was free.
It was about a 10 minute walk to Okaido. I took the tram to Dogo Onsen and it was easy to find and convenient. The hotel staff were very kind. There were ample amenities and I didn't have any problems, and if I stayed multiple nights I got a free mineral water server. It was great. I'll definitely use it again when I go to Dogo Onsen.

Cleanish enough. Rooms were okay. Onsen baths cross the street for a fee (albeit reduced to 550¥). Easy access to everything Matsuyama city has to offer.... Buy a bit dated.
The hotel is located about a hundred meters from Matsuyama Station. The room was good size, looked recently renovated although the furniture was old and somewhat worn out. The room supplies are provided at the front desk and are available 24 hours. The room key must be used to turn the light by inserting it into a separate keyhole located on the wall panel.
Advantages: Located next to the JR station and the Matsuyama tram loop line, the transportation is very convenient. There are several restaurants downstairs next to it.
