Located on a street near to many izakayas and 15 minutes walk to the main shopping street and tram. No noise problems. Bed is comfortable.

We had an excellent experience at the Nest Hotel in Matsuyama. Good location, close to lots of restaurants and it was a very reasonable price. Would stay again

It was decent, nothing special, but fair for the price. If I had to mention a drawback, it wouldn't be the hotel, but Matsuyama city itself. I found the dining options quite limited; outside of convenience stores (konbini) and izakayas, there weren't many appealing places to eat.

The rooms are cleaned daily and are kept very clean, but the hotel's facilities are a bit dated.

Nice and clean, not to far from the castle or onsen with convenience stores close by! Would recommend and stay again! (This is a second stay! So we did stay twice!)

Opened in 2015, this hotel's facilities are already quite outdated. The two pillows provided on the bed were equally uncomfortable – one was too firm, the other too soft – making a good night's sleep impossible. I would only consider staying here if the price is exceptionally low. On the positive side, the location is decent; it's close to the tram stop and there's a convenience store right downstairs.

Conventient location; 10 minute walk to nearest bus station, and about 30 minutes max travel time to anywhere we wanted to go!
Room was clean and compact; but the double bed is quite squeezy if you're fitting two people inside.
Buffet breakfast is 1300¥ if you inquire the day before you intend to eat. It is 1500¥ if you buy it on the day itself.
Accidentally booked a smoking room; but the staff were kind enough to change it for us once they had a room.

The best central hotel you'll find. Fantastic value for money, the hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. It's only a few streets away from a massive shopping district including restaurants, so you won't have to go far when you're hungry. There's a tram station very nearby so you can get to Dogo Onsen easily.
The internet in the room is a godsend. Most hotels skimp on the internet so you can only load one webpage an hour, and it makes looking up day trip ideas and booking things a huge pain. At this hotel I had no issues with it. This made it the best hotel for a 'home base' to plan day trips from.
Beware Google Maps getting here, it points you to the southern side of the block, the entrance to this hotel is on the northern side of the block.

It’s close to Okaido Shopping Street and Matsuyama Castle. It’s walkable and lots of convenience stores nearby. The breakfast was good but a little pricey (well just for me 😀). Overall , worth the price I paid 😊
