Hotels in Mangystau Region

We’ve spent great time. Everything was wonderful. Appreciate Bekzhan for his service. I would like to visit Rixos Water World again in near future. 🙌🙌🙌

In general everything is fine, but at the arrival there was some confusions and misunderstandings regarding room providence. Each employee was helpful, especially Bekzhan housekeeping assistant in answering questions and showing what does hotel have. Hope that all quests will enjoy their time.

Located outside Aktau city, Rixos Aktau is a beautiful 5 star all inclusive hotel on the Caspian Sea with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Room 4306 – Guest Review During my stay at Rixos Water World Aktau from 04 to 09 October 2025 on the occasion of TurkicSkills-2025, I was deeply impressed by the outstanding service. The Housekeeping team – Nagima, Tozagul, and Raisa – performed their duties with great professionalism, care, and attention to detail. My room was always perfectly clean, tidy, and comfortable thanks to their efforts...

I stayed with my family for one week at the Rixos Aktau Hotel in Kazakhstan. Although the hotel is part of the well-known Rixos chain and is reasonably good in terms of cleanliness and facilities, in my opinion, it cannot be considered an international hotel. The main issue lies in the cultural approach. For example, at the barbecue, the food is prepared in advance and placed out for guests. When...

No complaints! Everything was at a high level. Food, water, everything is great. There is a swimming pool where children are not allowed. There is also a lot of entertainment for children. Water park and amusement park on the territory. All visits were included in the price of our stay. We are very happy.

Amazing and friendly staff and nice spacious rooms, will totally get back.

The view was amazing, the location was great, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The room was large and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work and just heated the room on every setting, and some of the furnishings were a bit dated and had scratches. However, for the price, we would definitely come back.

Good location close to the sea side. Friendly staff. I enjoy my stay.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and every time I have been made to feel really welcome the staff are amazing

Best location, view on sea Cozy rooms, excellent service staff, delicious breakfasts

Very comfortable and clean. Great location. Very kind personal

great location to stay in Aktau and affordable, friendly. it looks modern

The hotel's main advantage is its location. It's practically the only hotel in Aktau with a direct view of the sea and direct access to the cliff path. The inflated price is due precisely to the location. The room is large and clean, the bed is comfortable. Water is always available. The breakfasts are delicious and varied; one day they even served sturgeon for breakfast. Upon arrival, we discovered...

Good, very good, not bad! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ? ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

The room is large, the toilet is small, and there is no iron. It is very inconvenient to iron clothes when traveling on business! Many waiters at the front desk did not speak English, only one did. This is very inconvenient! In addition, the wifi was very poor and I mentioned it to the front desk three times. After staying for several days, one day the room was not cleaned that day, so I went to the...

The hotel is in a great location 👍 The rooms are very clean. The staff are all very friendly. Best of all, it's spacious and the beautiful Caspian Sea is right in front of you!

If you have the chance, definitely take this tour. Ideally, bring school-age children. They'll find it educational and engaging. They'll be able to feed the fish and learn how many different types of sturgeon there are. They'll also learn about the differences. We didn't regret going. 👍

Walk up to 15 mins to the nice Caspian sea

This hotel is a four-star hotel, 375 per night. The only drawback is that the air conditioning is not cold in this season, but the windows and interior facilities are very modern. It is better than many hotels in Almaty.

The room is OK, breakfast and Chinese food would be perfect

Breakfast is OK, it is in the center of Aktau

This is probably the best hotel in Aktau. Respectable, clean, conveniently located. The staff works well, very friendly. Very good room service, the food is delicious. Of course, this is an expensive hotel, but it's worth it. The sea is literally nearby.

One side has a sea view and the other side faces the street. The facilities are okay. After all, it is a chain brand and the price is quite reasonable. There are many varieties of breakfast, but there are only a few that are suitable for Chinese people.

Very poor breakfast choice. The food of the room service not adequate to the price of the hotel and some dishes to forget. Personnel helpful and kind.

It's out of the way so expect a long walk to the center! Overall a very nice breakfast and the room was decent! With seaside weather, it may be hard to keep the place in top shape!

Excellent hotel, perfect cleanliness, delicious, varied breakfasts, good staff, attentive, I liked absolutely everything. This is the best thing I had in Aktau)

It is indeed a good hotel in the area. Good location, good environment and good service. It is just a little small, but there are too few locals so it doesn't matter if it is too big. The room is not small.

Express business hotel, enough accommodation, good breakfast

I would say it's an average hotel. The food is not bad, just always the same, the rooms are okay, the bed is comfortable. The Wifi is very weak, but the wellness area is quite good. There is a small shopping center with a grocery store at the bottom of the hotel.

Hotel is well located, clean large rooms with a good service. Breakfast is average seems that it is a commonality across a number of hotels.

From airport pickup to drop-off on the airport and all in between was taken great care of the staff. ,staff was very polite. Very helpful and friendly staff, plus the swimming pool and sauna was a nice add on and the temperature in the pool was great. I liked the location of the hotel It was near the beach . Inside the hotel building has its own restaurant, supermarket, boutiques. really helpful. Panoramic...

Excellent hotel! Decent service!

Excellent hotel with reasonable prices. Everything is clean and tidy. Breakfasts are very tasty. There is a sauna, a swimming pool and a gym. All this is included in the price of accommodation. The hotel has a restaurant and a sushi bar.

We liked the hotel. We lived in two adjacent standard rooms on the 5th floor at the "family" rate, it is cheaper, the bathroom is equipped with good plumbing, cleaning is scheduled on time, the rooms have air conditioners and working Wi-Fi, thoughtful lighting, convenient storage places for things and bags, a full-length mirror, albeit outdated, but high-quality furniture and textiles. Common...

Facilities: You need to ask the front desk for anything you need, such as a hairdryer and slippers. Water is available for a fee. Cleanliness: Okay, but the sheets are only changed every seven days. Ambient: Close to the beach

Rooms are spacious lots of windows. Clean comfortable bed. There’s a restaurant across the street but we used Yandex to get around.

The door card broke three times in a row, which was incredible. The staff said it was because it was placed next to my phone, which damaged the magnets. What the heck?! They also had to fill out some kind of form for laundry, and I forgot to fill it out, but no one told me. They then returned it the next day unopened. With only a few people staying, I have no idea what was going on. Otherwise, it...

It’s very very old hotel. Next all factory . We just lay over 8 hours. It’s good for lay over. Outside hotel sting. Don’t open windows.

It's pretty good. Everyone, the courtyard is deep and shallow. Smile at me. Am I stupid? Dog food. Street entrance town. Haidilao hot pot base is not used. The problem of brand deployment is not big. Anyway, it's just a joke. Anyway

The location is quite remote. In addition, Aktau is not a good travel destination. It is not recommended to stay overnight if you are in transit.

I originally booked an apartment in Aktau, but it had an incredibly uncomfortable mattress and old pillows. I had to urgently find new accommodation. In the end, I booked this hotel and regretted not doing so from the start. The hotel is located in the city center. It's clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff are friendly. We received a free room upgrade, which was a very pleasant surprise. The room...

Location: Very close to some of Aktau's most iconic photo spots, practically right downstairs. There are plenty of restaurants and a large supermarket nearby, and the Caspian Sea is a 10-20 minute walk away. The airport is about a 30-minute taxi ride away. Facilities: Fully equipped and new, with elegant and beautiful interior design. Breakfast is relatively plentiful, and Indian food is served during...

The room was great – spacious and very clean. The service was also excellent, much better than I expected.

I stayed at the Dostyk and was very pleased. The hotel fully lives up to its status as a business hotel: spacious rooms with good soundproofing and a comfortable workspace. The location is excellent—right in the center, convenient for all the city's key attractions. The staff is polite and helpful, and check-in was quick. The breakfasts are varied and delicious. I recommend it for both business and...

Delicious breakfasts, friendly staff. The location is excellent, with plenty of options for every taste and budget nearby. The hotel is also 10 minutes from the shore, perfect for a walk along the cliff path and watching the sunset.

During my stay at the Dostyk Business Hotel, I would like to highlight the high level of hotel organization and the staff's professional approach to guest service. First and foremost, I was struck by the impeccable cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel. The rooms are in excellent condition, and cleaning is performed regularly and efficiently, creating a comfortable environment for both...

The location is good, very close to the shopping center, 5 minutes walk. 25km from the airport, about 4000 tenge taxi with Yandex go

The location is good, everything is nearby. Walking distance to the city beach. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, with good views and enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom has hot shower. The WiFi works good. On every floor there is free water. The included breakfast is ok (for me it was not enough).

It's actually ok hotel. Staff is a bit to serious but still friendly. Location is excellent.

Average low prices match the service. Dont be fooled by the fact that sea is close (quite dirty to swim). You better go to resort zones in suburbs such as Tree of Life, Tethys Blu Park and Stigl-20minutes by car.

Stayed here for the first few days in Kazakhstan. They helped me with planning my trip to Almaty. There are signs every where that foreigners should registered within three days of arrival - please don't ignore these as it will cost you a USD200 fine.

Hotel is nice but the breakfast was diabolical- how they can even charge for what was on offer I don't know

Room is ok. Not much space. View was beautiful in the morning if you stayed at seanside. Could not find out if the food was halal. Got mixed responses...

Good place to wait for a ferry Very convenient location. Friendly staff.

The room is large, but the bathroom and shower room are not well designed.

Excellent Hotel, good breakfast. Good location for supermarket and not far from beach for wonderful beach bars. Nice staff, shame the bar was closed in the afternoon. The supermarket was handy for essentials such as pringles and vodka.

The hotel is very good. Quiet place, close to the beaches. The staff are friendly. All wishes are fulfilled, if possible, of course. Breakfast is included in the price, hearty and varied. Lunch and dinner are available for an additional fee. There is a swimming pool, sports hall and sauna.

Good personnel. Laundry Lady good worker

The rooms are big and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. They even made vegan food for us upon request! I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I'm writing this review a few months later, which I've kept in my Heart for nine months. I recommend anyone traveling through Aktau to stay in Grand Nur Plaza Hotel. You will be surprised by the extraordinary welcome and the unpeachable attention received. This hotel Is much more than the usual european hotel. Thank you very much for this unforgettable stay. Ines

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. This was made all the better by the extremely helpful Bek who did everything he could to help with travel arrangements for the next leg of our journey and to ensure we had a great experience at the hotel.

Good breakfast, business lunch is terriable and the restourant not so good. Room is more or less is OK, but no cleaning on snow in front of the hotel from ice.

Nice hotel, clean, good Breakfast, gym, outdoor pool

Great room, good atmosphere and competent speakers. But the food is lame...

Well, 5 stars in the conventional sense for this hotel is frankly a bit much. But, in General, a good impression. On a solid C grade. There is a SPA with a swimming pool, apparently it got awarded 5 stars. But water treatments failed to treat myself, so the rating in this part does not give.

Very nice stay at this quiet seaside hotel. There is no pool or gym or fancy amenities but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Big, spacious room, decent wifi, a good breakfast for this part of the world, windows and balcony for fresh air and AC if needed plus hotel access to the beach. Safe and TV in room but no English stations. Printer available for last minute needs before you leave...

Good price, good location (maybe a bit far from the city center, but right on the beach), clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Good hotel!

hotel is comfortable and clean. staff are friendly. breakfast is nothing. hotel view is not good. worth if you can not find any better hotel.

Good hotel. Been here for one night in summer, 2015. Clean, quiet, good personnel. Ordered food and they got exactly what I ordered. Prices for food, especially water are higher than Baku, Azerbaijan. But Aktau is notorious for high prices. Rakmet.

Check-in is after 2 PM. Luggage storage is available. The room is quite spacious. It's easily accessible by bus from the airport, and very close to the Eternal Flame and the beach, making it very convenient.

A very nice hotel with great value for money.

The room was incredibly hot from the heated floors. We had to turn on the air conditioning, and it ran all night. We almost got sick. The mattress was incredibly hard. The key card didn't indicate the room number. The elevator got so hot from the sun that it felt like riding in a sauna. The internet was poor, constantly disconnecting, and the signal was poor. The price was completely unjustified.

Big room that was nice and clean. Excellent service even if they did not speak english.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The first night was wonderful. But at the second night, the lights of the whole room suddenly went off and couldn’t be turned on again. We reported it to the receptionist and it took them about half an hour to fix it. We unfortunately had our dinner in the dark. Then, we slept after it was fixed. But when we woke up and needed to leave for the airport at midnight...

It's a very clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and the showers are hot. However, the walls are thin, so you can hear noise from nearby rooms, which may be a problem for some people.

Aside from being a bit noisy due to its proximity to the road, it has virtually no major drawbacks.

Excellent hotel at a reasonable price. There was a slight odor due to the sewage in our shower. One good thing about the hotel is their laundry service, which is cheap. The clothes were neatly folded and delivered to us again a few hours later. It is worth noting that the hotel's location on Google Maps is incorrect. It is located about 1.5 km further down the road, where there is a large red HOTEL...

The hotel feels more like a guesthouse. There's a separate kitchen with all the amenities. The staff is polite and always willing to explain and help. The Beluga restaurant is nearby; the prices are reasonable and they offer a 10% discount. The room is cleaned every morning. I stayed in December (since I'm a cold person), so I turned on the air conditioning. There's also a market across the street...

The superior suite meets all requirements. It's a large, spacious room with luxurious furnishings, a large bed, and a fireplace that was impressive. It's clean. There are places to eat, an elevator, and parking. The service is excellent. Thanks to the staff.

very large rooms, great internet connection, very clean hotel. It also has its own restaurant. we were very satisfied.

A good hotel for the money. Located on Central Street. The beaches are 5-10 minutes away by taxi. We were on the Caspian Sea for the first time and decided that we would not take a hotel with its own beach area, but would take one within the city limits to see the city and have the opportunity to change the "picture" every day. We were very pleased with our decision and choice of hotel. We saw all...

Great staff! Price / quality is fully consistent. Quiet, 5 minutes from the seafront. There are many cafes, shops, etc. nearby.

Hotel in the city center. All within walking distance. The sea can be reached in 15 minutes on foot, and the rooms are as in the picture and excellent staff

Great hotel. Good service. Delicious breakfast and large portions. The room is clean, the bed and linen are white. There is a mini bar, wi-fi, electric kettle, TV, tea and coffee. The air conditioner is working, but it can be seen that the filter has not been cleaned for a long time. Cooled the room for a very long time.

The hotel is located not far from the Beket-Ata mosque, there are several supermarkets and small cafes nearby so it’s easy to find smth to eat. Also there’s a bus stop from where you can easily go to the Caspian Sea Personnel was friendly and welcoming

Cozy rooms, very clean and comfortable! Great location. Helpful staff.

Excellent hotel. I stay here often. The staff responds quickly to requests. The receptionists are kind, polite, and helpful. The food is delicious. The rooms are clean, warm, and cozy. The location is also very convenient. Everything is within walking distance: shops, pharmacies, shopping centers, a clinic, a mosque, and bus stops. I recommend it.

Friendly staff, central spot with free parking and decent breakfast. Rooms are clean and affordable but slightly dated. Thin walls, occasional hot-water/Wi‑Fi issues—solid budget pick!

Excellent service and excellent place to stay

Thought out to the smallest detail. Competitor to many hotels in Aktau.

Lovely staff! They noticed it was my birthday during my stay and gave me chocolates with a card. They were very helpful and allowed a late check out without any issues. We stayed on two different occasions. Both pleasant!

Very good hotel. Very clean. The staff is helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is AC everywhere. Bank and shops nearby, also seashore is 5 minutes away. There is also a nice park in front. We had a great stay here.

An excellent hotel for its price range. The parking is small but in all other respects I think everything is fine. The room is clean and tidy. The location is good for the city.

Zhaina is very professional, give her a raise $$$ 👍👍👍

It is in center of the city, all needs are very close to hotel, and comfort apartments, Also, staff very kind, one minus they are not speaking in Kazakh which is not acceptable for Kazakh people

The location is a little hard to find, but otherwise I don't think there's any problem. It's a little far from the center, so if that doesn't bother you,

I stayed overnight, the room was cozy, there were towels, a refrigerator and a wardrobe, blackout curtains, the bed was comfortable, I liked it.

Facilities: Complete Cleanliness: Clean Environment: Nice Service: Good

I was there not long ago. The host was very nice, it was cozy, the staff were all kind people, and thank you, Nur-Zhaman.
