The resort is at an excellent location with good pool facilities. The pizza at the alfresco restaurant is great. However the resort itself is fairly dated and old and I don’t find the staff to be very friendly

Good location and good view, but took too long for checking in. Hotel facilities are a little bit old, rest are quite ok. If you want to see sunset, it is high recommended , this resort has perfect location to see the sunset view.

The biggest issue is that for a beachfront resort, its beach is practically nonexistent – though it doesn't really hinder the fun! I booked a sea-view room for three nights, expecting to step right out to the ocean. However, Magellan (hotel) seems to have a dock, so the 'beach' is all rocks. There's only about a 10-meter wide 'sandy' area, suitable for snorkeling. The underwater rocky reefs here make for pretty good snorkeling. The adjacent Pacific Sutera beach, which shares facilities, is a bit longer, but the waves are bigger there, so the snorkeling isn't as good as here. Both hotels share four pools, which is great for swimming, but it feels a bit odd to go to a beach resort and only swim in the pool. I didn't find any other major deal-breakers; overall, the experience was good. The service wasn't bad, and while the facilities aren't new, they're not run-down either. Breakfast was decent, with all the usual offerings. There are indeed a lot of Koreans here, even more than I encountered in Jeju Island previously. I guess this hotel is a social media hotspot in Korea!

The hotel room felt a bit old and small, and the bed was narrow. However, the shower pressure was great, and there was unlimited complimentary drinking water. The staff were very enthusiastic, and the public facilities were decent. Breakfast was average, with a Korean focus. The sunset bar had a lovely ambiance, and the hotel's small private beach was excellent for spotting fish. The location between the Magellan and Pacific hotels is very convenient for island hopping, as it's right next to the ferry terminal, and it wasn't crowded. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the city center, which is very handy, and taxis are also readily available.

The pool is great, the view is amazing, but breakfast is just average. It's really convenient to take a boat from their private pier.

Look very old resort poor maintenance, not much amenities, dirty bath tub, terrible service check in time is 3pm we reached at 2:50pm insisted not to allow check in asked to wait until 3pm. Breakfast is okay but full of birds if u did not pay attention birds will having breakfast together with u on table. Good location near to town. Definitely not worth the price.

Such a great place to stay when you're in KK. So many facilities within the resort itself, we didn't want to go out.

Highlights: Spacious room, incorporation of nature elements within the compound, 3 pools, lots of activities such as pickleball, movie showing, bowling, cycling, kids activities, etc. Some free, some at a very minimal charge.

Food is good, there's also tea time served on top of the usual breakfast.

Already planning my next trip here.

Thank you for providing an all-in-one environment for busy professionals like me. A place where I can work, meeting old friends, and at the same time allow my 3 boys to enjoy themselves safely. The availability of both a swimming pool and a small beach, with lifeguards on duty, gave me peace of mind throughout the day. the room was also clean and convinient for us also to enjoy beautiful morning sunrise.
I was able to continue my work comfortably, spending time reading and writing on my laptop by the pool, surrounded by beautiful seaside scenery while watching my son playing. The experience was further enhanced by the availability of good food at the restaurant despite busy with customer, waitress e.g Ms Shamira and all were very helpful. Added with relaxing drinks in the evening while listening to live band performances, and quiet moments of healing by the beach, resting on the sofa with the sound of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, e.g Mr Alex and the team, who made our stay even more pleasant. Hopefully, we will have the opportunity to come again.

I've been coming back here almost every 2 years. Love the facilities and location. Service can be better especially during peak time. Buffet breakfast is always a chaos during peak season and hotel should ensure there is enough manpower. 1 or 2 people to cover outside dining area during peak season is just crazy and inhumane. Love the buffet, eventhough i feel like the variety of food and quality is slacking over the year.
