The hotel was nice however, the location is not really good and at least 15 mins away from city center. Staff was friendly, but we didn’t really felt welcomed. Breakfast was served and very limited. They didn’t asked whether we would like more coffee or juice. Same with the afternoon tea they offer. Each of us got a half of a half piece of cake. At least we had the feeling that the hotel in general was very stingy concerning service. Unfortunately, too pricy for what we were offered. All in all disappointing!

Very nice heritage building. Attentive front office willing to spend time sharing the city with you. I like the turn-down service and the little surprises each evening, could be a local cookies or a traditional little souvenir. They tidy up each of my charging wires with Noordin Mews cable ties. Breakfast is served from a menu, unhurried, casual and enjoyable.

We booked for two days and ended up extending for another four! Everyone, from the kids to the grandparents, was absolutely delighted! It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. The kids especially loved the pool! It’s wonderfully quiet despite being close to everything – a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and a shopping center are all nearby. The 'Yixie' restaurant right opposite is incredibly delicious – highly recommend it! The place is so clean you can walk barefoot, and they even clean twice a day! Plus, they offer turndown service, which was a pleasant surprise! Breakfast is a la carte, which is a great system. The lovely little courtyard really made us feel the relaxed and comfortable vibe of Penang. Highly, highly recommend! I'll always cherish the wonderful memories made here!

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to recommend local food and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the little Christmas gift was such a thoughtful touch. It was a bit pricier than other accommodations, but definitely worth the money. Highly recommend!

Booking prices varied from platform to platform so just check to compare. Place was very nice with very hospitable and friendly staff who went out of their way to make our friend's birthday celebration a memorable one.

Famous prawn hokkien noodles: the soup base is so flavourful without being overwhelming. You can choose what type of noodles, and you can add extra ingredients like roast pork. Lotsa other stalls around, and you can order into the kopitiam too

Delicious hokkien mee (prawn noodle). You can top up the basic bowl (RM4.50/bowl) with siew yuk (roast pork) and pork intestines. Another special thing about the hokkien mee in Penang is you can opt for Vits (maggi) noodle instead of yellow noodle or meehoon.

Self service, cash payment only. Crowded during the weekend so be prepared to queue.

This 888 hokkien Mee (prawns Mee) is super delicious!! ??? can add siew yok (roasted pork) one ? and I finish so fast within 2-3 mins. ? the prawn soup is marvellous ??? Don’t come here too early. They only open at night around 5pm onwards until 12am.

A nice place to eat in 1st avenue mall.
I find the food just okay, nothing special.
If you want authentic Penang food, just step out of 1st avenue and walk a few minutes across the road under the hot sun and u will find yourself a nice authentic Penang food across the road. Price is almost the same too.
