The room condition completely exceeded my expectations. I was a bit worried when I saw it was a renovated old house, fearing small rooms and outdated facilities. Turns out, my worries were completely unnecessary! Both the room and facilities are very new, the service is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious. The location is also fantastic. Just like Melaka itself, this hotel was a big surprise on my Malaysia trip. If I get the chance to visit again, I'd love to stay here for a couple more days.

Don't go on weekends if you're looking for a cheaper stay. Also, be careful of the people selling SIM cards at Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall. They speak Chinese, but they'll trick you. They'll tell you it has 100GB, but it's only 1GB free. What kind of people are they? They'll sell it to you for 38 MYR – a complete rip-off.

The location is very convenient, the rooms are spacious, and the hotel has a European-style feel. It's also a cultural heritage site.

It was an okay hotel for us to stay as a family. The rooms are clean and toiletries are replaced daily. However, there are no facilities such as swimming pool and gym.

I wana give 10 stars to Reception Ms.Janet and Uncle Wong. I booked a family room with jacuzzi. Kids enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. Room is good, spacious and clean. The water is warm enough both in jacuzzi and shower. Walking distance to tourist spots and Jonker Walk. Keep it up Janet and Uncle Wong 🥰🥰

First off, loved that there was a bathtub. The water dispenser was a nice touch! The location was great too, highly recommend! It was clean and pleasant, definitely recommend.

Pros: Two main advantages – ample parking and close proximity to Jonker Street.

Cons:
The hotel's beds and pillows are very old; the bed was too soft, and I didn't get good rest. The sheets and duvet are also outdated and definitely need replacing. The carpet had an odor. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast; it felt like no effort was put in. The fruit was sour, the baked beans had an odd smell, and the rice seemed like it was from the day before. I had to spend extra money to take my kids out for breakfast.

There were so many ants crawling on the bed that I couldn't sleep at all. It was awful. The room also had a musty smell.

Few things-:
1.Room have many ants, either on floor or table. It bites my baby when he crawling on the floor, and now it is red and swallow.
2.For check in, this is need to be exactly 3.00pm sharp check in, one min earlier also cannot. I am carrying baby who urgently need use washroom, but get rejected and I have to continue carry baby and wait until 3pm sharp, only the staff allow me for check in.
3.Call reception for extra towel, they request to give back the old towel, for what??? I am getting EXTRA towel, not change towel.
4.Their official website did not stated they have mini fridge, which I thought there is no fridge provided so I bring along my own small fridge and all the ice pack to store breast milk. This is wasted my effort for carrying so many unnecessary things. Please stated clearly on your website on your amenities

There great thing for this hotel is the location, and free parking only I can say. Other than this, I not recommend

Dropped by for a drink to cool down. Me and my partner were served drinks with small red ants swimming around in them. Was met with a rude response when I politely queried it and then got the same drink back with less contents.

Just had a drink here. Nice atmosphere, live music. Staff was friendly, ok. You can rent bikes, book tours, it's also a hostel. Little bit of everything it seems.

Great place to hang out on the River!. Wide selection of food and most of the staff speak excellent English. The owner (Azaha) comes down on Friday night and keeps an eye on things over the weekend. The rest of the time Nina is the Boss Lady.

When you are at a prime location, the food you serve doesn’t have to be good so it seems. The satay chicken was grilled black, spring rolls were cold, the mashed potatoes hardly warm and the salmon tasteless. The dessert could not save all, didn’t finish it. Absolutely the worst meal of many travels.
