🌴 Review: Dreamland Maldives (Stayed July 7–11, 2025) 🌴 Just returned from an amazing 4-night stay at Dreamland Maldives, and overall we were really impressed — especially if you love marine life and peaceful surroundings

If you want to try diving, we recommend the Joy Dive Center. We learned a lot from Nick, and my husband and son earned their Scuba Diver certification. To sum up - we spent wonderful and unforgettable moments

🐠 Snorkeling & Excursions – Absolutely worth it! The house reef around the island is full of life. We saw nurse sharks, sea cucumbers, and even sea turtles while snorkeling close to shore

Our favorite excursions were: • A trip to Hanifaru Bay to watch the majestic manta rays. • A nurse shark tour around the Dreamland reef — exciting and well organized

Loved our vacation! Staff is so friendly, food was great and rooms were clean and big. Private pool was super enjoyable. The beach in front of the restaurant is fantastic

Snorkeling 10/10! Special mention to Chef Sulakkhana Dias At Crusoe’s Bar. Lobster BBQ under the star was the highlight of the trip! We repeated and had a lunch there as well, his food is the best in all the resort

A huge thank you to her for the warm welcome! Special thanks to the hotel's medical staff. My husband had a serious problem: severe sunburn on his legs, and after using fins, he severely scraped the sunburned skin

Fantastic Japanese dining experience with Bandara head chef at Kabuki in the Radisson. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour - Tuna dishes were incredible

Everything tasted thoughtfully made and so well put together on the set menu. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere felt relaxed but still special

The staff were amazing - too many to mention individually, but each of them from the waiters in the restaurant and bars and the room staff were brilliant! - Many thanks to you all

I’d prefer smaller portions that run out and get replaced, ensuring freshness. The servers were all very kind and attentive. For breakfast, I would love to see options like oatmeal and nuts added

Beautiful!😍 Food: We had half board, and the food was delicious and fresh. I followed the rule of eating only cooked or packaged food, avoiding open, pre-cut fruits, and my stomach felt great the entire time

Snorkelling was beautiful with lots of marine life to see and explore One suggestion for Angaga to consider would be to have 'tip boxes' in and around the various areas of the island

It would be nice if the main bar offered a more varied menu with more healthy snacks. At breakfast and dinner, I’m not a fan of jams, spreads, or sauces sitting in large open bowls

There are too many staff to tip everyone individually and also the kitchen and garden staff etc appear to miss out on tips which we feel is very unfair as they all do a great job

My wife chose a nice hotel for our honeymoon. It has a private seaplane lounge, a Chinese-speaking butler, and the environment is decent. The price is cheap and good value

Very very nice location. Great sea view and good food. Very nice n friendly staff. Our Great host poula, a wonderful guy, manage to book for us a dolphin cruise and we get to see dolphin !! Highly recommend

I would like to praise the Chinese housekeeper Lily, whose Chinese name is Jinen. She answered all my questions and helped me in various ways

There was also a security guy named Ken who let us snorkel at the cargo ship dock and attracted many fish for us

Everything at the resort is sparkling clean, drinks are delicious, and the 10-minute boat transfer from the airport is smooth and convenient. We felt pampered and completely at ease during our stay

The food is amazing and wonderfully diverse, offering Arabic, Indian, European, Asian, American, and Middle Eastern dishes—truly something for everyone

There are 3 levels: Breakfast only, Full Board (AI), and Full Board Gold (AIG). On the second and third levels, drinks at the bars are discounted or free. But overall, it's worth the money

Other than that, the underwater environment, the hotel's cleanliness and interior, the staff's service, the restaurant food, and the endless supply of drinks were all excellent

This is our second time at this hotel. The reef, service, food, and drinks are all beyond praise. While snorkeling along the reef at sunset, we unexpectedly encountered dolphins – that was the most powerful experience

The resort is quite remote, requiring a domestic flight to reach it. However, upon your international flight arrival in Malé, a dedicated staff member will escort you all the way to the resort

We dined at a different restaurant for each meal. Since two resorts are connected, you have the option to dine at restaurants on both sides

Unfortunately, during this period, the water was very low, making it difficult to swim from the shore due to the shallowness and coral. The island is well-maintained, with lots of greenery, and everything is kept clean

The buffet and French restaurant were particularly impressive! The all-inclusive package is definitely worth it; we tried their wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialty drinks with every meal

Ideal for honeymooners, couples of all ages and of course any one who wants a total chill out - would be back in a heartbeat but the food is too nice and you will roll home FYI!

We toured Kerala in India and then had a week here to end an amazing trip. It is such a special place, swam with turtles, manta rays and clown fish

I did a discovery dive with Stefano who was so patient and kind as it was my first ever dive. We also had three wonderful complimentary seasons with JB at the gym

We waited in the ‘Moo’ lounge for our sea plane, we were greeted by name, and given a lovely refreshing towel and a drink. We were able to get further refreshment and snacks whilst waiting as we wished

After being show around our villa we were left to enjoy the absolute tranquility of our villa. It has everything you would expect, his & her basins, rainfall shower or hand held - you choose

Heaven is a place on Earth, it’s official! We were met on arrival and escorted to our sea plane check-in by a wonderful Constance Moofushi representative

The white sand the crystal clear waters, the food, entertainment and facilities were incredible. The Teppanyaki restaurant was fabulous, the chef was brilliant bringing entertainment and food together

The sushi bar was delicious and the underwater restaurant took our breath away. My personal highlight was seeing a turtle as I snorkelled the reef off from our water villa. I couldn’t recommend You and Me enough

During our stay, we also met some amazing people, especially Yaan, the bartender, who always knew how to add a touch of humor while serving perfectly crafted drinks

She guided us with care and professionalism, making us feel safe, relaxed, and at ease throughout the entire experience. Thanks to Sanaa also from the gift shop for her recommandations and her friendness with us

What a magical time away My husband and I had the most wonderful week away in the Maldives at the You and Me resort. From the moment we arrived to the time we left the team couldn’t have done enough for us

We had the pleasure of meeting Pasiya, our host throughout the stay, who took wonderful care of us from beginning to end. A huge thank you to him for his kindness, professionalism, and hospitality

The main restaurant only served white people. Ugh, I couldn't swallow a single bite without the chili sauce! ! ! ! By the way, three days on the island was enough to basically take care of everything

The temperature was very comfortable. Every day we just lay around and went to the bar to drink. Of course, there were both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

A cost-effective all-inclusive resort

The service colleagues were all very humble and nice. The stay was quite comfortable. You could see the glass-like sea as soon as you opened the door. We stayed in a water villa for three nights

The price/quality ratio is excellent. New hotel, nice rooms, attentive service, everything is aimed at not disturbing you unnecessarily. The food is quite good, but simple, although varied

There were no Chinese service colleagues on the island, but that didn't affect us. They all spoke very basic English. There was only one minor drawback: the food was really not very good

The staff are all excellent (Abdul in the restaurant and Adu and sarin were great in the bar and deserve a special mention. ) The food was great and the rooms are very spacious and clean

Our first visit to the Maldives was unforgettable at Safari Island. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff was remarkable. The food was fantastic and our room was always clean and beautiful

I definitely recommend the hotel with friendly staff and management, beautiful scene and lanscape. Opt for water villas or semi water villas offerong direct access to the ocean and magnificent views

The snorkelling was out of the world- on the last day we swam with a turtle, 2 different rays, reef sharks galore and a couple of moray eels. That doesn’t take in to account the million fish and all the coral

We had our honeymoon here and loved every single second of it. We stayed in an over-water bungalow and would definitely recommend staying in one of those instead of a beach bungalow

The restaurant had multiple choices of food , chefs were on hand to cook fresh omelettes and pasta. Evening meals there always a large selection of meat and fish

It was great as a couple on our first visit, but the recent shift to focus on families and welcome Kids has made this resort a repeat destination for our family. Highly recommend the all inclusive option!

The room is spacious and clean. The service here is personable and the quality of the food is consistently high. Our kids 12 and 8yo have loved the stay and we all had a great time

Our kids loved the complimentary mocktail making session where they were able to make their own mocktails, as well as the ice cream tasting activity where they got to try different flavours of ice cream and guess which flavours they were

We didn't get to see dolphins during our stay but apparently they will drop by sometimes. We saw sharks, turtles, jelly fish, puffer fish, anemone fish along with eels and squids to name a few

The workers are friendly on this island and they are proud of the fact that it's a living island. Every evening, there are sharks that can be seen from the arrival jetty

They are passionate about the marine life and we would bring our photos of turtles and marine life to show them so that they can help us identify them as well

The sous chef was so lovely and always brought such a warm, happy vibe whenever we saw him, which made our meals even more enjoyable for our family

It's worth the price, great value for money! The speedboat ride is luxurious! It takes about 20 minutes to get there, and there's 24-hour airport pickup, much more convenient than a seaplane! (Pushing/Squeezing)

We had such an amazing stay at this resort in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredible and the island itself is absolutely beautiful

This was my third trip to the Maldives, and I can honestly say it was the best overall experience I’ve had so far. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious

He provided the most exceptional service we’ve ever experienced; he truly is the best in the business! Also, don’t miss out on the diving center; their programs are top-notch and well worth trying

Location: Very convenient, only about 35 minutes by seaplane from the airport, and the flight itself is a scenic experience on a clear day. Rooms: Beautifully maintained, very clean, and serviced twice daily

The kids club was a big hit, there’s a nice tennis court, and the main pool is spacious and fantastic. Overall, a wonderful mix of relaxation, comfort, and family-friendly activities

You have a very nice bathroom also an outside bath and shower, the beds are very very comfortable, mini bar which includes soft drinks and beer, coffee and tea facility, air conditioning

Great amenities, a lovely private pool, and a perfect beach right outside. Cleanliness: Excellent throughout the resort — everything was exceptionally well kept

The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes and incredible flavors every single day. This is not just a resort, it’s an experience I would recommend to anyone looking for a true escape

The restaurant helmed by exquisite Exec Chef Mr Farish was truely fantastic! The food starting from breakfast to dinner was totally great and our whole family really enjoyed the gourmet meals during our 5 days stay

We especially thank Lisa, our hostess, and Bayezid for the sweet touch in our villa everything morning, but we also thank all the staff of reception, restaurant and bar, cleaning and massage

Restaurant service was top notch by Superviser Mr Manjit and team members like Imam, Sous Chef Rubel, who remember us by name and our usual orders of coffee and our preferred types of omelette

Great stay in the Maldives ! The NH Kuda Rah resort welcomed us in the best way. Our honeymoon was magical, welcome, villa, catering, activities and excursions, massages. Everyone's smile added a lot to our stay

As we had a very late flight back to Singapore, he managed to arrange the latest seaplane flight possible due to available daylight and safety concerns and he even booked us a lounge stay at the seaplane terminal to rest during the long hours before the flight

Our villa attendants Mr Hassan and Mr Bayezid were great with their attentiveness and daily smiles. Our spa specialists Ms Opal and Ms Ayu were truely magical too and we cant get enough of their skillful therapies

Can't find a single fault! Very big thank you to Aman, Akbota, Zayan, Fatho, Nancy, and all the team across the resort, including the excellent dive centre staff (Thomas, Marty, Jay and others) and the Spa (Artita the masseuse who gave us incredible Balinese massages)

The whole team went above and beyond for the Husband's birthday surprises - creating beautiful memories for us for a lifetime. Brilliant team, brilliant resort, brilliant experience - thank you all!

I booked an all-inclusive package for four nights, two nights in a sand house and two nights in a water house. The price is above average in Maldives, and it's worth the money

Paradise on Earth!! An absolutley fantastic stay at the Melia Whale Lagoon Resort. Everything from Airport transfers to food to entertainment and excursions were 10/10

Don't skimp on sunscreen (SPF 50+). They are available in your room. When snorkeling, avoid touching anything. Protect your elbows and knees. Wear wetsuits (long-sleeved shirts) with UV protection

Our second time in the Maldives was different from the first, but absolutely fantastic. We arrived by seaplane, and the welcome was very pleasant and friendly

The island itself is stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. The food was fantastic, with a great variety and fresh, flavorful dishes every day

We stayed in a Deluxe Beach Villa next to the Sultan Suite (room 1) on a FB plan. This is our second trip to Nika and our seventh to the Maldives

Our deluxe beach villa was the best place we have stayed in the Maldives, better than places 3 times the price. My reasoning: it’s huge with a private beach, small lagoon and about 10 metres from the reef

There is shade throughout the day and places to sit inside and out in very many different ways. I feel they are vastly superior to Nika’s water villas

There were also plenty of activities and opportunities to explore, relax, or just enjoy the beauty of the Maldives. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish. I can’t recommend Nika Island Resort highly enough!

Transfers in MLE were a breeze for us as regulars, but some newcomers might be a bit bewildered by the lack of a lounge at the seaplane terminal

The food was a little slow to arrive, as we were in a hurry to leave the island, so the system might not have processed our order by the time we checked out. We were able to waive the lunch fee, which was a nice touch

We have visited the Maldives many times over the years, but it is rare that we feel as relaxed and genuinely at home as we did on this island

These personal touches made a huge difference and really show how much the team cares. The warmth and friendliness of the entire staff truly stand out. The team at Restaurant Aqua deserves particular praise

Wonderful island, fantastic food. Very beautiful backgrounds are also suitable for those who do not understand swimming. Because it does not have an oceanic reef, it does not have strong currents

We’ve just returned from Diamond Athuruga and we truly cannot stop thinking about it. It’s one of those places that stays with you. We’re already talking about when — not if — we’ll go back

The hotel is situated in a remote island, without any other resorts or people, so expect highest levels of tranquility, the lack of other islands around also means no overcrowded snorkeling spots, no loud boats or no speed boats chasing the marine life! The set up is beautiful, with a vast garden, which makes you feel like you are in a jungle, I almost didn't see other guests during the day

The stay at The Barefoot Eco Hotel was a unique experience. Located on a local island, it offers a different, more natural side of the Maldives. The beach is long, peaceful, and beautifully untouched

No disco - only natures sounds. Very friendly staff and great tours to choose from. Perfect for snorkeling and diving. Fantastic food buffets with a lot of seafood. What’s not to like
