The island is beautiful, well kept with lots of greenery and the bungalows are really charming and cozy. The staff we dealt with was very friendly and professional

So is breakfast, very varied and there is almost everything, including fresh omlette or any type of eggs live cooked. We chose the all inclusive formula and also enjoyed the cocktails which were very good

Very nice water bungalows. The staff are kind and welcoming. It’s a peaceful little island, the restaurant is great and the cocktails are excellent as well. The wellness area is very professional too!

The kindness of the waiters from the beach bar was really execeptional. The waiters in the restaurant are a bit “cold” and often just kind with people they get tips from

The first room they assigned was right in front of the pool and we wished to be more aside and informed the reception which immediately provided us with a different room and let us choose which one and also offered a free upgrade on a Premium Water Villa (which we did not accept) and it was very kind of them to make us happy

The barefoot concept makes the stay very relaxing and recharging as we wished to stay more and do not wear shoes any more! The food was very good, there is a large asiatic choice and there is something for everyone’s taste

Special mention to Nizam (our butler) whose efficiency & timely daily information regarding activities, meals & flight departure plans ensures our holiday plans went smoothly without a hitch

Our Butler Ajaa responded to any requests very quickly. The restaurant staff was friendly as well. The food at the Ben Jarong restaurant was delicious and served very quickly

Dusit Thani Maldives completely exceeded our expectations in all these aspects. The sea in front of the Ocean Villas was a true 'glass sea,' and the views from the various restaurants were also excellent

The market restaurant has a great buffet, the Thai restaurant was fantastic and also the grill restaurant. The gym is basic, and could do with updates, but we trained daily, so its manageable

The beef and lamb at the Seagrill restaurant were absolutely delicious. My husband and I decided to visit again in five years. See you again Ajaa, Dusit thani

We recently spent six wonderful days at Dusit Thani, and our experience was truly elevated by our butler, Levi. From the moment we arrived, Levi demonstrated exceptional kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness

A paradise, perfect for relaxing. A good selection of food and drinks. If you're expecting a party island, you're in the wrong place; for relaxation and a stunning view, this island is perfect

Prices, like everywhere else in the Maldives, shouldn't be underestimated. The all-inclusive option is a good option

I thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling. The showers while watching the sunset were also amazing. The three buffet meals were particularly excellent; I was impressed that they could plan and prepare such a menu every day

The restaurant staff were also excellent. They were professional, moving briskly while engaging in casual conversation and creating a fun atmosphere. The only thing I found disappointing was the housekeeper

I am so grateful for the staff's consideration. Although we booked an all-inclusive plan, the alcohol in the villa's minibar was an additional charge, so it didn't feel like an all-inclusive experience.

We highly recommend the Arabic restaurant on the island! We tried every dish and it was the best! The Indian restaurant is also worth trying, and surprisingly, it wasn't bad! Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the Western restaurant; the 9:00 PM reservation was too late for children

The room is cleaned every morning, noon and night. The housekeeper service is in place, and the three meals a day are exquisite, fresh and colorful. I lingered and was already considering coming back next year.

The bar had delicious drinks and snacks, and I especially loved the peach iced tea. The hotel souvenir shop's vinyl refrigerator magnets, while pricey, are really beautiful! You won't find them anywhere else!

The room was cleaned twice daily, and snacks and drinks were replenished twice daily. Bicycles were always available at the entrance of the bungalow, making it easy to get around the island

There were several restaurants for dinner, and different ones were reserved depending on the length of my stay. Breakfast and lunch were available without reservations

The food in each and every one of the restaurants is both delicious and visually impressive - the finest local and international cuisine. We had the "all inclusive" plan and truly we did not go hungry for even a moment

The location was superb, and the calm sea made for enjoyable snorkeling, like being in a mythical underwater palace. The food at every restaurant was delicious and of impeccable quality

Lunch: The main restaurant (Canelli) had a very poor selection. We preferred the JFK bistro, which was much better. Dinner: High quality, especially the grilled dishes and French desserts

8 rating because I felt it was a place you only needed to visit once for the memories. There was some inconsistency in the staff's service, but it wasn't bothersome

the undersea restaurant is a must!! tushar and his team, haskko and ruwindi, and the executive chef and his whole team made us feel at home every single day

We had a wonderful experience in Mercure best view,room Drinks and food they serve and thanks to the Thiloma. She was attentive to every detail, and always had a smile

We opted for the overwater Villa with pool and sunset view, was a good choice, if I am being critical the accommodation could do with some modernisation, cleaning came everyday and replenished the drinks and towels, they are very private, and we found ourselves staying at the Villa

The food choices are more than adequate, there are two restaurants, Alita is the buffet and for breakfast, lovely Illy coffee, Vista is the overwater Italian again very good quality

The diving equipment and jet skis were in disrepair! The food was sometimes cold, dry, and undercooked. The refrigerator didn't keep drinks cold, so I had to drink them warm

Just back from our second visit to Mercure Kooddoo, and it absolutely lived up to expectations once again. The welcome drinks in our room was a lovely touch and great way to start our holiday

One of our favourite moments was watching the sunset from our private pool each evening, often with blacktip fins gliding through the water as the sun went down. The food has definitely improved since our last visit

The atoll is surrounded by calm, clear and very quiet beaches. The food was amazing; the buffet offered a mix of international and Sri Lankan cuisine, all very flavourful. The hotel rooms were very clean and comfortable

We had our meals at the buffet restaurant. Most of the meals came with different selections of food daily so we weren't bored of the food there

Everything was amazing! We landed in the middle of the sea and got picked up by the hotel's boat. It was another amazing experience for us to have flown on a seaplane and disembarked the plane in the middle of the sea

We saw other hosts checking on their guests during meal time and on whatsapp so this was rather disappointing. We took matters into our own hand by dealing with the reception directly for our request

Our host did her part in explaining everything to us and that was the last we saw her. She was nowhere seen or neither did she texted us to ask about our wellbeing throughout our stay there for 5 days

There was a simple and welcoming drum procession upon arrival from the jetty to the bar, where we were served a welcome drink and given a cold towel

We requested to swap our excursion and she managed to do so for us. Then, there was no personal nor virtual communication

Sandies Bathala, was everything we hoped for and were not disappointed. With only 70 properties, 30 Water Villas and 40 Beach Villas its the perfect retreat if you are looking for a peaceful uncomplicated resort

This resort is amazing, stayed in an overwater bungalow for 3 nights. Amazing snorkeling and diving. Resort was great, all inclusive makes it very easy

We did that coral snorkeling and Dolphin tours, both exceptional! That spa was great as well, highly recommend the couples massage. We’ve been to a few resorts and Alila Kothaifaru is at the top of our list

We celebrated our 8th anniversary at Alila and had the most incredible stay. The property is absolutely stunning — private, peaceful, and perfect for a truly relaxing escape

But what made our trip so special was the team. Chef Damodar at the Italian restaurant and Chef Amrit at Sea Salt prepared beautiful à la carte specials for us that were honestly some of the best meals we’ve had

One of our favorites was the Shack Lunch experience. It was so peaceful and serene. The service from the staff was also so personal and professional, and all of the activities were so diligently organized

We stayed at Alila in November as the second part of our honeymoon. After 10 days in Thailand we were after pure relaxation in a luxury island hotel & Alila did not dissapoint

Although not very large, the staff are warm and friendly, and are quick to assist with any questions. The front desk, restaurant, and water sports center all have Chinese-speaking staff, which is fantastic

A gorgeous small island, you can walk around the entire island in 10 minutes. Having visited the Maldives many times in the past, we loved the W as it’s newly renovated and immaculate

The mask snorkel and flippers are all new and top quality making snorkelling easy. The gym and workout area is great. Special thanks to Mark for the killer hiit sessions! And general chats and friendliness

Shower excellent, sparkling clean and new and lovely bath products. There is a portable sound link speaker provided in room so you can connect your phone and have your own music - great touch

There are free soft drinks in the mini fridge in room (and juices) and dotted around the beach villas are fridges you can help yourself to the soft drinks and also clean towels

We went for the beach villa as prefer direct access to the beach and it was perfect. Large comfy bed with sheets like satin, sofa area and straight outside to plunge pool, seats etc

He went out of his way to bring out the Holhuashi games for us when they weren’t readily available, gave us great snorkeling tips (we saw sea turtles thanks to him!), and showed incredible honesty by quickly finding us to return extra cash we had accidentally overpaid

Beyond the people, we loved how much there was to experience — from cultural activities and cooking sessions, to relaxing spa treatments, amazing food experiences, arts activities, and of course the water sports

What made this trip so special wasn’t just the stunning island, but the people who made every moment feel personal and unforgettable. A huge thank you to Hannah from Soul Kitchen and Mizu Teppanyaki

She also noticed my husband was struggling a bit with the heat after our activities and kindly brought over cold towels without us even asking. It’s that level of care that truly sets Nova apart

We ended up spending over an hour playing and chatting — it made us feel incredibly special and cared for. Lastly, Aiman from FOH was so thoughtful and proactive throughout our stay

We’re also so grateful to Jaleel, the F&B Manager, who took time during Holhuashi to teach us traditional Maldivian games — such a fun and unique cultural experience

This is our third stay at Gangehi Island Resort & Spa. We returned because the island is small and intimate. You feel like you're on your own private island. Staying in a water bungalow, you can admire the sunsets daily

Gangehi is a well-maintained 4 star resort for travellers focusing on value for money - and the value is great: nice rooms (beach and over-water bungalows), great food, dive centre, spa, fitness room and nice garden

The bungalows are very well-maintained, right on the beach, the atmosphere is quiet, and the facilities are excellent, including bars and restaurants. One negative: the lack of designated smoking areas
