Diamonds Thudufushi Maldives Resort & Spa in Ari Atoll

An amazing stay from start to finish.The resort is amazing. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, and the food quality exceeded expectations. crystal-clear turquoise water, pristine and the calming sound of the sea make it easy to completely disconnect and unwind. It feels like being in a postcard, What truly made the difference, though, was the staff. Every single employee was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They genuinely go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of, always with a smile.

A very good hotel in a great location. The island is a beautiful place, a paradise, you could say. The bungalows are very well-maintained, right on the beach, the atmosphere is quiet, and the facilities are excellent, including bars and restaurants. One negative: the lack of designated smoking areas. We kept escaping to enjoy coffee or a drink outside.

Great service and hotel staff. From the first moment we felt great, especially thanks to the people from the hotel. From guest relations and reception, to the chefs and waiters.

A great vacation thanks to the perfect people who took care of us from the moment we arrived until the end of our stay. We work in tourism and notice details that an ordinary person may not notice. Here it is appropriate to pay tribute, everything was great. At least indirectly we would like to thank the people from the reception and guest relations, the cooks and waiters, the cleaners and the people in the background 😊

First time being at the Maldives and the vacation was great!!! Location and Atmosphere: Although the weather wasn't that great, the overall atmosphere on this little corner of paradise is awesome. The small island surrounded by brilliant white sand and turquoise sea. Unbelievable! Rooms: We had booked a watervilla, due to a booking error we had to stay one night at a beach villa, which was smaller, providing direct access to the white sandy beach. The management tried to compensate the booking error with a voucher for a "dinner under the stars" AND a "dolphin sunset cruise", which was okay for us, maybe not everybody would be happy about that. Nevertheless, both rooms were nice and very clean. The beach villa provides a topless bathroom, we never had that before. The overall state of the rooms is okay, but not top-modern. Both rooms definitely could need some attention here and there (shower head, wooden outdoor stair, wooden terrace) but beside that, the overall quality was good. Not to forget the awesome view of the water villa over the wide ocean and to the island. Noise level: Extremely silent, except for windy hours, where the larger waves are shaking the water villa a bit, especially annoying during night. Although the resort was fully-booked, we often were lonely at the beach and other places, you really get a lot of privacy here! Service: This is where the island really shines, in our eyes. The whole staff, including reception, room service, taxi-driver, gardeners, bar keepers, gastro, dive-center, ... are so incredible nice, friendly and always with a smile on their face! Incredible! You really feel, that they want to every wish to become true! Room service twice a day (!) was also new to us. But maybe this is common here. Especially we want to highlight the incredible nice guys at the iDive-Center (Giacomo, Pietro and Marco), which provided us an unforgettable moments under the water AND of course our beloved room assistant "Azreeh", who kept our room in perfect shape twice a day and surprised us often which his art talents with palm-leaves and sand-paintings. Restaurant: The quality of the meals was outstanding. We preferred to go to the buffet restaurant, although we could have a-la-carte at the over-water-restaurant, but the larger choice of non-sea-food let us tend to the buffet restaurant. We really liked the tradeoff between self-service (salad, dessert) and front-cooking of the main dishes. The preparation of the meals is 5-star-rated! Never ever had a comparable quality in an all-inclusive resort before. Possible improves: The internet connection provided by WIFI is extremely slow. The provided movies per iMac is strange, some lonely files without descriptions. And how should someone watch a movie 90° out of the bed at such a small screen? At some spots all around the island, there should have been renovation earlier, it looks a bit oldish here and there.

Simply excellent resort! All with happy employees!! The 3rd time here and still the same people! That says it by its own. Clean rooms, quite place, great ambience! Having Sadeep and Kalana in the restaurant and Ahmed as our „maitre de table“ adds a big part if the great stay. Also, the best dive-base with with iDive run by Mario, Allesia, Marco, Giacomo and everybody else. And then there is the Doohni Crew… best crew in the Maldives… and I know what I‘m talking about!

We spent 5 days in this small and cozy island where everybody were so kind and premorous to us!!!! At the arrival we were surprised with a 3 nights upgrade to overwater villa and found it so interesting as far as we love more staying in the beach villas surrounded by nature. Food great but repetitive and poor entertaining!!!! Internet connection was not working properly but the Italian staff very supportive….. Awesome beach and water……. Good reef.

Excellent facility, excellent furnishings, excellent and varied food, from raw vegetables to pasta carbonara to all varieties of tropical fruit. A true all-inclusive with all drinks included. Very kind and welcoming staff. Guests are mostly Italian but also of other nationalities. Excellent snorkeling and diving service, they organize many excursions. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay in Junior Bungalow No. 35. The experience was excellent, with many great excursions to choose from and plenty of coral reefs for snorkeling. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. During meals, our waiter Ares took great care of us — always smiling, helpful, and very attentive. We were really happy with his service. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We stayed at Diamonds Thudufushi Maldives Resort & Spa July 25, which is an absolutely stunning resort, all the staff are friendly from the top all the way to the maintenance team, they are all cheerful and ready to help. The guy who serviced our villa (Zubin? WV12) could not have been more helpful for our needs. The food was exceptional although the ala carte menu did get repetitive for a 2 week stay which we did discuss with Jaco and Carla but the food in the buffet was also exceptional. The rooms are very good the bed was very comfortable, the mini bar was restocked daily with our requirements, nice large sundeck. The I-dive team were very good and helpful, we also sponsored a coral. We enjoyed the holiday so much that on our return to the UK we have already booked to come again in 2026, see you all then.
