Mellieha Holiday Centre in Mellieha

I didn't stay at this place but I needed a washing machine to clean some clothes during my holiday. This place has a washing machine and dryer open to non guests. €4 for a token and 50c for washing tablet. Very helpful when you have messy kids during a holiday. Thank you!

Visiting since many years, we keep coming back. You rent your own little bungalow with enough equipment to handle own cooking. Great comfortable beds and a large shower. Outside both a small closed yard and a topfloor terrace only for you. The area has all you need in terms of basic shopping, a restaurant (with amazing beef filet), a cool bar, gym, tennis etc. large outside pool area as well as an internal one. Sauna and steam bath too placed across from Mellieha beach The staff we know are amazing. Special thanks to Adrian in the bar and Steve in the restaurant. Always going the extra mile for amazing service. We will come back again Bo and Lona

I recently booked a weekend stay at Mellieha Holiday Centre for my parents, and it turned out to be one of the best gifts I could’ve given them. The setting is simply beautiful — a peaceful slice of paradise tucked away in the north of Malta, where nature, comfort, and serenity meet. The bungalow was spacious, clean, and cozy, with everything they needed to feel at home. The staff were welcoming and incredibly helpful, making the whole experience smooth and relaxing. Whether it was enjoying the nearby beach, the fresh air, or just unwinding in the quiet surroundings, my parents came back truly refreshed and smiling. Thank you to the whole team at Mellieha Holiday Centre for making it such a special and memorable getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy Malta at its most peaceful.

Perfect spot for families. Great hiking possibilities nearby. Close to beach and nice pool area for all ages.

A beautiful resort. So different with amazing views and well designed unique sandstone apartments. Rooftop terraces are just great and the built-in outside breakfast area is a lovely touch. Apartments are a little outdated and could do with a revamp but are so spacious. Housekeeping only came once in 6 days but this wasn't really a problem. Only real problem was that the hot water in the shower is enough for 1.5 people and after that is Luke warm.
Restaurants serve some well priced tasty cuisine, happy hour at the pool bar is terrific, and the pool areas are very good with an large outside pool and large sunbathing areas and a super little indoor pool which warms up a quiet little outside pool which has a grassed area for sunbathers and small families.
The resort offers so much activity with crazy golf, pitch and putt and a well equipped gym. If you like cats then you will love the two cat cafes located on either side of the resort. Be warned they follow you home and want to stay the night, and sometimes turn up again in the morning for breakfast (which you can purchase in the shop 🤦🏻‍♂️).
The resort is a little remote so I would recommend staying here if you have a car. It is a short walk to the beach, and into the lower town of Mellieha which is nice. Highly recommended is the very short drive to the ferry port for Gozo (very reasonably priced (free for the journey over and €30 return for a car, 4 adults and a child) and Gozo is so worth the trip).

I’ve spent many relaxing days by the pool at Mellieħa Holiday Centre, and it’s always a great experience. The outdoor pool is spacious with plenty of sunbeds, making it easy to find a comfortable spot to unwind. The atmosphere is peaceful, and even in summer, it never feels too crowded. There’s an on-site restaurant and bar, so you don’t have to go far for food and drinks. Set in a quiet area of Mellieħa, it’s a lovely place to spend a laid-back day by the pool.

The best place for family! I was there when i was 8 years old with my whole big family and it was wonderfull!! Lots of activities for me and my cousind but also alot that the adults went to. We all loved it and miss it and i 100% plan to come back one day. It was in 2018.

Stayed 3 adults+ 1 toddler for 1 week in one of the newer 1-bedroom bungalows. Pros: - Clean - New beach/pool towels each day - Comfortable bed in bedroom - Kitchen stocked with necessary amenities for simple cooking - Great toddler entertainment facilities: Well maintained playground, kid+ baby pool, turtle pond and possibility for kids to swim in heated indoor pool during scheduled time slots each day. Also many cats on the grounds which seem well looked after - Short distance to beach - overall welcoming, child-friendly staff Cons - Mattress on convertible couch/bed very poor quality, could feel springs. - Ran out of toilet paper on day 5 and was informed that we had to purchase our own for refill Tips: - Bring salt/pepper/spices if plan to cook - Use the App Bolt to order cab- markedly cheaper than when booking a cab through the hotel reception (can also request toddler seat) Did not try the breakfast or evening buffet

We arrived with some friends for 14 days Vacation in January. Sadly the husbond of our friends became ill and a Doctor was called from Mellieha and he was then sent to a local Hospital! He was found to be "Seriously ill" and they had to stay for some extra time in the house, after the vacation, - before being taken back to Denmark, with a sent down, Danish Doctor in the plane! So also a thank to MHC for being able to manage this! I was able to find some needed Medicine from a Pharmacy, driving round in a local taxi, which was called from the Reception, during the evening! And Thank You very much to especially "Jonas" in the Reception, for being able to find the Medicine at a local Pharmacy!! Sadly our friend has just died, so we are participate in his Funeral soon, so this just to inform "The Mellieha Holiday Centre" about his fate! Finn
