Hotel Viu57 in Mellieha

First time visiting this hotel and it was brilliant. Nestled on top of a hill in Mellieha you will need your walking shoe's to get around. This didn't bother us. You are literally right behind Mellieha church which is stunning. The view from the hotel shines right down on Mellieha seafront.
We stopped here for 3 nights in February from the 26th and the weather was amazing. 17-18°c.
The hotel and rooms are modern. It's only a small hotel but it did everything we asked of it.
Staff are friendly and very helpful.

Pros,
Very clean and modern hotel.
Lovely location although on top of a hill, only a small but steep walk down to beach or up to restaurants and church.

Cons,
Food was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast was only continental so no bacon sausage ect. This could be down to the time of year we went though.
The bar men were amazing although the one would charge different prices every time we ordered the same drinks. Due to it being so cheap €2.50 per spirit we didn't moan. It was only 50c different each time so no biggy.

I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay but for longer I.e. 7 days we would stay in Valletta as there was more to do.

The staff were so lovely here, and the views were amazing ♥️ also really close to lots of restaurants in Mellieha, very easy to walk to - enjoyed our stay here! Only downsides; the room was a bit smaller than we were expecting and the breakfast selection was quite small compared to the hotel we visited in June and maybe 2 of the days we enjoyed the breakfast but the rest there wasn't much choice for us

Stayed here from 20.12.25 to 03.01.26 having booked via Thomas Cook. Great value holiday, bed and breakfast. Fantastic views from my room, which was very spacious, clean and quiet. Staff are super friendly. Located close to shops, cafés and restaurants, and of course bus stops. Only issues were the noisy fridge, a torn bedsheet, a poorly fitting duvet (not wide enough) and the double bed was actually two singles joined together. Despite that, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a lovely experience here. One thing that stands out is definitely the customer service from the staff; Dora in particular was so helpful towards me and my partner. She helped us with renting a car and offered us the chance to check out later due to our flight being in the evening. The location and view from our room was beautiful and peaceful. The room was very clean and house keeping did an amazing job every day. Should be a 4 star hotel🙊

I absolutely loved this hotel! The room was big, the bed super comfortable and the receptionist was extremely nice! And the view from my room! Wow!!

I didn't have the chance to eat breakfast or to use the swimming pool but overall amazing experience.

Worth the stay! Loved it. Very well positioned, great view of the bay and lots of fresh air to take in.

Lovely new hotel! Very helpful staff, great location, very quiet and lovely views! Easy walk to restaurants and beach. Beds are a bit hard.

Such an amazing hotel, with great, reasonable, and friendly staff. Excellent room view and room cleanliness. One of the best hotels I went to with a reasonable price.

Amazing Hotel! Great service/staff, great view, good breakfast, clean rooms, quiet but close to everything (bus, restaurants, markets etc). Would definitely recommend. Be prepared for a cold pool but it doesn't really matter since it's supposed to be used for cooling of. Truly a hidden gem.
