This hostel is a great, quiet choice with a nice sea view. It features a large, well-equipped kitchen and friendly, helpful staff. The rooms have shared bathrooms and are quiet thanks to clear rules. The swimming pool is small. For socializing, Marco Polo is a good option.

The place was clean but difficult to find a worker, didn’t see a receptionist once at the desk being there 4 days. There was no hot water in the shower (it was cold and rainy outside) and no heating in the building. Had to shower at a spa nearby instead. I moved to Malta in January 2026 and spent my first 15 days at this hostel. I couldn't have asked for a better welcome! The new location is even better than the old one! It’s closer to the main part of the city and there is a smaller hill to walk up. Everything was perfectly clean and decorated beautifully. The bathrooms and showers were perfect and the staff was lovely.

I went there with low expectations, but it was fine. I stayed in bed number 2, which was a triple-decker bed. There were no major inconveniences. The staff member, Jay, was also very friendly. She said she was from Switzerland. I was working at a hotel while in Malta for two months. I wish we had had more conversations. The guests were all quiet and nice.

The room was exactly as I had hoped for, except for the building is not very isolated, so I recommend bringing ear plugs if you have sensitive ears and/or need to sleep well.

This hostel is located in the heart of Sliema, about a 10-minute walk to the port. It is a small but friendly hostel. The staff is very friendly. The interior is not luxurious but clean. It is another good choice for traveling in Malta.

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, everyone was so friendly and helpful 😊, very well priced for a great location, we stayed 5 nights, room was comfy and had air-conditioning, nice clean toilets and showers, staff and owner were all lovely.. would stay again and would recommend a friend. Fair, basic, unassuming hostel. Recommended for short stays, 1-2 days max. I stayed for 5 and it started feeling a bit cramped, especially for the bathrooms. These are shared, and the ladies clean them around 8am...so with all the people coming, going, the toilets get shut one at a time for cleaning and it does feel a bit frustrating. Everything was perfect! very nice apartment with an amazing view. the apartment was very big and well served. I recommend it to everyone as it is also in a good location. the owner very friendly and available for anything. moreover, the apartment is located a few steps from the bus station and from supermarkets and restaurants

We really liked the place. It was clean and spacious. Air conditioning work well. Very well communicated with Valetta and Sliema. Many restaurants downstairs. There is a fridge so you can prepare food on your own. Very friendly owner.

The flat was really nice, but it had few flaws like for example almost broken sink (which broke in the time of our accomodation and was fixed the next day by the host) or old discolored toilet seat. The shared space was in ideal condition, and the place has really nice view of bay from balcony

Rough start at first, but truthfully with the price and location it’s very good. I would recommend the private rooms as they are cheaper than hotels and very quiet area. If you’re a tolerable person and traveler to little things you’ll be fine, and the front desk guy was nice so it’s safe overall.

Nice place to stay and definitely amazing location near Balluta Bay.

The facilities are old, the beds are not comfortable to sleep on, the air conditioner and the electric socket will be turned off during the day, and everyone can only borrow the plug in the lobby. Also, the road to this hotel is very uphill, which can guarantee that you will lose weight.

WI-FI SUCKS BUT GREAT LOCATION Place is clean but not vey comfortable. Wifi with a Very poor signal. Personnel was prompt to send someone to try to fix it but to no avail. Router is hidden and only first floor. Lounge area is very small. Only 3 bathrooms for the entire place.
