I stayed at this hotel two years ago, and it has really deteriorated. The bathroom is dirty, the staff is unfriendly, we had to get dressed to pick up the kids even though everyone else was in their pajamas (this was pointed out to us), the elevators were dirty, the gym was broken and very dangerous, and the pool was freezing cold. The rooftop was locked with a padlock; frankly, I would like a refund.

The only good thing about this hotel it is its location. The venue opposite of it plays very loud music and the rooms are not soundproof. The cleaning staff started slamming doors at 7am, so impossible to get a good night sleep. Staff it’s also not the friendliest, not even returning a good morning. They don’t really seem to care about having you as a guest. I was also not able to have a visitor, which they say is prohibited.

After reading the reviews here, I almost cancelled my reservation, but I'm glad in the end I didn't! I thought the hotel was pretty ok for the price, with excellent breakfast, the room wasn't super modern, but it was nice and clean, nothing was broken, there hot water kettle, the balcony was nice, it was possible to see the sea. There is outdoor pool, lounge area, and indoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The only thing that could be improved was the water pressure in the showe. The location is also pretty good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I recehad the good fortune to stay at the Alexandra hotel in St Julians Malta. The bedroom was lovely and clean and the buffet breakfast was ideal for the low cost stay. Thr reception staff was so helpful and accommodating and made sure I was collected in good time for my departure.
For a single traveller such as I it was in a handy spot to get buses to Sliema, Gozo ferry and Valetta.

I do not fully get the negative reviews. Yes its not the perfectest hitel on the Planet, but for me personally it was very nice. Everytime i addressed anything with the staff, it got immediatelly resolved. Breakfast was very noce and great quality, probably one of the best Ive had come accross. Maybe ita dependent on the season, but i have had zero issues that are mentioned here. Yes, its in the city, and there is some street noise, but it was bearable and sleeping was no issue. The only real negative things I experienced were dependent on drunk people screaming, leaving public restrooms in a mess and doing the usual drunk people things and I cant blame it on the hotel. Cleaners arent supposed to watch after every single human who enters public bathroom.
Water pressure could be better but i think it also depends on the time of the day and how much water is being used at the time, so its understandable and wasnt a real issue really.
For the price it was very good, but that was my first night in Malta so I really have no reference to compare with, keep that in mind too.

The rooms were ok for a 3 star hotel. The pool and sauna were working, the pool is small for the number of guests, but again, the hotel has 3 stars. The view from the roof of the hotel is phenomenal. They take a deposit of 150e so be prepared for that. We did not see anywhere on the website that it says about a deposit. The staff is ok, they change towels every day.

Despite being a cheap Hotel, some fundamental aspects are missing, such as Wi-Fi in the room (very arrogant management), a very dirty kitchen and bathroom, and clogged pipes. We had to steal toilet paper from the cleaning wagon.

The breakfast was cold 6 out of 7 morning's
The facilities were not open ,the heated pool was not working
Overall we were very disappointed in the hotel and they had the cheek to ask for a €150 deposit for breakages.
We will not be going back to the hotel and i think your representative needs to go back to the horel and see for there self, it is clearly not a 3star hotel

I recently stayed at this 3-star hotel and overall, it was a decent experience. The hotel has 7 floors and features a rooftop pool (unheated), which is a nice touch for warmer days. There's also a small indoor pool with a side jacuzzi on the -1 floor, along with a sauna that unfortunately wasn't working during my stay. The gym is also located on that level, but the equipment is quite outdated—mostly older machines and a few treadmills.
Breakfast was average—not terrible, but it could definitely be improved. The coffee from the machines was particularly disappointing. One of the positives is the hotel's location: it's well-connected, and bus lines to the airport are conveniently close, which is a big plus. However, the surrounding area can be noisy at night, which might disturb light sleepers.
One thing to be aware of: the hotel requires a €150 security deposit, which wasn't clearly stated on the booking page—something that should be more transparent.

Good hotel if you’re just wanting somewhere close and easy to all the bars and clubs.
We stayed for 5 nights. Our bedding was never changed and neither were our towels.
We got pool towels but if we wanted fresh ones it was $2.
Some staff were lovely and others were a bit rude and abrupt.
